Poor Customer Service

I tried to take my 2 small children to a children's movie over the weekend and was met with complete disrespect. We were roughly 15 minutes late to a movie which was still in the previews. We asked to be seated but were denied. I asked to speak to a manager to allow an exception since we were driving from over 30 minutes away to this theatre and got stuck in traffic. The manager was immediately rude and said he didn't really have time to "mess with us" and didn't care what our excuse was. Their policy was 20 minutes (it was now 20 minutes because it took over 5 minutes for him to talk to us) and we were not seeing that movie. He offered for us to go to the next movie which was over 2 hours later (9:45) and I had a 4 yo with me. Since we were 30 minutes away from our house the only option would be to go home and drive back later which was not very accommodating. After I expressed my issue with this option he said he would refund my money which wasn't helpful either as we just drove 30 minutes and now had to drive 30 more home or find another movie at another location. I asked for the managers name (Ashton at the IPIC in Fairview Texas) and he refused to give it to me. I wanted his name as he was rude and brushed our concerns aside. After I insisted for his name, he threatened to call security if I (my 2 kids and I) did not vacate the premises. This was extremely unprofessional and if he didn't believe he was in the wrong then I don't understand why he wouldn't give me his name. After some persistence, I was able to get his name but that was after him threatening a number of times to call security for me asking for his name. I would say that we will not be coming back to this theatre or any others owned and operated by the IPIC brand unless something is done to rectify this miserable experience. My wife and I typically frequent this location on the weekdays, this was my first encounter with this manager as we do not typically go on the weekend. I am deeply disappointed on how this has been handled to date.

The staff was extended rude. Movie experience or dining experience not worth the price. Save your money and go to a local theatre.

I received terrible customer service from staff, including manager Lisa. I have cancelled my membership and will never return We were not greeted and ignored in the lobby while a staff member finished a lengthy phone call with another customer. You would think the exceedingly high price points would compel them to deliver a higher lever of customer service! I will never return.

Recent Visit

Hello, If someone could reach out on my recent experience to iPic. 5/30 for a 7pm showing of the Little Mermaid I spoke to the manager Will on duty and I am not satisfied at the resolution. Please feel free to email or call me. During my recent visit- I went with two other friends. We bought separate tickets. But sat together. The waitress insisted we be on the same bill but all give a card and have a holding fee of $75 - charged to each of us. This was a little bizarre. But we complied. As fellow previous industry workers we thought it strange she just didnt start separate tabs all together but moved on. Service was slow but we got all of our items we ordered. Towards the end of the movie I was brought a large popcorn. I didnt order. Waited until we got the check and I was charged for one. Didnt eat the popcorn so requested a refund. They had me sign the original copy and took my card to refund. Which was also weird. But not sure what system they use so complied. Close to the end of the movie I realized my bottom was stuck to the seat. I had sat in someones old Mike and Ike candies and were not stuck to the bottom of my $120 LuLu Lemon leggings. Would not peel off and the dye stained them. After looking at our bills and our bank statements while there after the movie we realized she charged my friend 4 times. Two $75 holding charges we were promised would fall off and then for my order and her own. I was also charged $75 for my holding charge. I asked to speak to the manager. Will came out. I explained my sitting in someone elses candy. He said oh Im sorry. Well thats great. Then I explained our checks and the mess up and he fixed the charges. He took ALL COPIES OF OUR RECIEPTS. INCLUDING THE MERCHANT COPIES FOR MY RECORDS. Im left with my refund receipt for the popcorn. Merchant ID 444504****360 I didnt expect anything but even just comping my one meal for dinner would have been a nice gesture. As a previous bar manager it was the least I would have done for my evident ruined pants. He fixed our tabs and walked away saying nothing else. Upon walking to our cars in the parking garage - less than 5 minutes later- we exit the elevator to Will making out with what appeared to be a kitchen employee in the hallway. Embarrassed he quickly turned and avoided eye contact. To say I am upset is an understatement. I havent been to the theater in a few years and was very excited for a girls night out. Instead I have a $75 charge. My friend was charged 4 times. And my expensive pants are damaged. I can provide pictures of receipts or photos of the pants if youd like. But this was not acceptable. And Id like to speak to someone about this and what can be done. Thank you. Ashley Castelli

Excellent customer service

Victor Rezabala General Service Manager provided excellent customer service and was very supportive with a situation that could have resulted in something very bad. I give Victor Rezabala 5 stars for excellence!!!

Delray ipic racial profile and Steven Mosley allowed veronica to call me a *** in front of my grandkids and I was told to leave!!! This white privileged has to stop!!! I want corporate to contact me!!! Or I will make this public with my pod cast!!! Live!!!

IPic Bethesda (RUDE Workers]

Just all around rude!!! Theatre was nice, food was NOT definitely not worth the money. Workers were rude, they delivered my food without utensils and got mad when my bf ask why they didn't give me one the first time. The manager was rude and unprofessional and needs further training. It wasn't even busy!!! SMH, a waste of money the first time and the last time!

My refund!

hello, i requested for a refund, it came back to me and then went back out the same day, was wondering when will it process back again. i cancelled in a good enough time crime for both movies. so im justified. please help. thank you Happy New Year!

Refund

I called the local iPIC theatre here in Houston to return 2 of my 7 tickets and couldnt get in touch with anyone but finally received a return phone call from Mikayla telling me how to get a refund. Once at the theatre, the ticket return was very straightforward and efficient.

Bought 2 tickets...got to theater late so they said they wld credit me to tickets...they took all my info and type it in the computer...but I don't see them in my email ir in my IpiC app...

I'm trying to dispute two charges on my card and receive a shuffle full refund

I purchased tickets online for my family when I got to the theater. Your employees were telling me that I canceled and I never did so I purchase four more tickets in cash and never received the refund for the first four tickets and the following day I never came back to the movie theater, and there was another amount taken off of my card again for two days in a row. Unacceptable. I would like a total refund.

Service issue

I have a membership for IPic and have never had any issues until tonight. I had tickets for the Elvis show at 10:30 at the North Miami location. I checked in at 9:15 as I usually have some drinks and dinner before a movie. There were a lot of people checking in so, I watched about 4 groups check in before I had my barcode from my email confirmation scanned. I was told to enjoy the movie (and nothing else). I ate and had some drinks before heading I got the theater at 10:15. I immediately felt the how hot it was. I asked one on the servers if the ac was broken. She said, oh yes, didnt they tell you when you checked in? They did not. When I went to the front for a refund I asked the two young employees who checks me in why they didnt tell me about the ac. They both told me that they did and that they also sent out emails and calls as well. When I told them I didnt receive either they said, well, we did tell you when you checked in. I asked for a manager who basically made the situation worse. Sided with the staff and told me he had been with them just about all night and they were telling everyone. Basically telling me I was a liar. Did he really think I was told and decided to eat at the bar for an hour and half, go into the theatre and only then decide I wanted a refund?! I asked to speak to his boss who at least had some basic conflict resolution skills. He refunded my ticket and also issued a second pass ($20 value) which helped a little with my bar tab. I mentioned that it wasnt a money thing and that the other manager told me he couldnt do ANYTHING for me regarding the bar. He made it worse by not apologizing and basically telling me that I was told about the ac. This was the about the worst guest service resolution Ive ever seen. It is very clear that the first manager has not been trained on handling guest conflict. I would have hoped that IPic as a company would make service a priority. This manager did not protect the IPic brand at all. I would expect even a new, inexperienced manager to know the minimum of apologize, thank the guest for bringing it to their attention, ask what they can do to make things right, thank me understanding and ensure that I come back. These are the basics of guest conflict resolution. I hope as a company you are aware of them and maybe some retraining needs to be done at this location. Please follow up with me as I am still not satisfied that I spent money at the bar (not to mention my Sat night) for nothing. I work a lot of hours, my free time is slim. Broke Reclining Chair- Bethesda location

Good Morning, Lastnight, My husband and I went to see the newest Jurassic Park Dominion for the 10:00 pm show at the Pike and Rose in the Bethesda location. We arrived at the theater probably about 9:45pm and order food. As I went to recline my seat (I-3 in theater number 5) it was broke. I was so uncomfortable. Ive immediately notify the waiter. He told he was going to notify his manager. As the movie started, Ive notified another waiter the issue I was having because the other waiter never came back with any resolution to my problem. He said he was going to notify his manager as well. My husband and I sat through the entire movie and no one acknowledged the fact that my reclining chair was broke. We are loyal customers and was very disappointed by the service that we have received. We will consider other theaters in future and never return to the IPIC again. Thank you for your time.

Refund or credit

This Experience was horrible Fulton theater my 3 daughters under the age of 10 myself my mom .6:45 Jurassic park so many things went wrong. seat beam broken food cold popcorn cold nachos stale. Having to go speak to the manager more than 3times missing half the movie and the manager being rude condescending told me the movie wasent half over mean while I'm in the hall for 20 min talking. Not to mention my girls had to walk threw drunk men at the bar to use the bathroom upstairs making us miss even more of the movie. When we get to the bathroom there was a MALE EMPLOYEE INSIDE when I ask if we were in the right bathroom he replied yes I'm replenishing when I ask if he can give a a min he ignored me and continued to stay in the ladies room. We couldn't wait because one of my daughters has a problem with using the bathroom that I shouldn't even have to explain and was going to *** on her self. Every thing was just a horrible experience. We were so excited to be at ipic. I'm asking for a refund of my tickets it's really unfair that we had to go threw that at your establishment. So very disappointed
