Not recieving my credits or refunds for shoppers mistakes

I have had 3 orders with overcharges. Non delivery as well as wrong product. Customer service says I have to wait until they look into my reference numbers. Still no help. Also the shoppers don't know what items are and instead of them contacting me they just assume I will accept what they deliver to me and when it's wrong for me to contact Instacart. When I do that my money never gets back to me.

Insta Cart has allow nearly $700 of unauthorized charges on two of my credit cards . I have been reimbursed some of the funds but not all. I need to know why this keeps happening.

On two separate occasions with two different credit cards over $700 in unauthorized transactions have taken place. The first time this happened I was immediately reimbursed by Instacart. I was told by an Instacart associate the I could use another card and keep my account. Only to have the problem happen today. The charges go back to 12/22 but only showed up on my card today. I only recently added the second card so there is no way charges could be made to a card that was not added to my Instacart account. Clearly my Instacart account is being compromised and not my credit cards. I would like to speak with someone immediately to resolve this problem!

My order is all screwed up

Somebody shopping my whole order and told me they were coming here and the next thing you know it I look at my phone and somebody shopping my whole order again and now there are several items that they dont have there because apparently the two shoppers were shopping in the same grocery store so there was a whole basket full of food somewhere. That was my original order. Probably somewhere else in the store and because they shopped my order, there was no order. on the shelves I was never alerted

Instacart account was hacked

I was contacted by PayPal for unusual activity and by the time I tried to get into my instacart account I couldn't because the hacker had changed the information. I first spoke with a customer service rep who couldn't access my account either and then he put me on with someone else. I was ensured that the account was closed, but the next 10 minutes I received communication between shopper and hacker that I couldn't do anything with because I was locked out of my account. It has now been 5 days and I haven't received an update from instacart about this event nor how to reinstate my account. I'm very discouraged with Instacart security and how my complaint was dealt with.

I can assure everyone that the CEO Fidji Simo and other management know exactly what they are doing. They are preying on consumers.Why else would a company block all consumer communications to the real corporate office?They hide behind sites like this.

Attn Legal: I have attempted to reach the corporate office several times. Overseas operators have intercepted all calls. Every operator I have spoken with has refused to connect me with their manager or the corporate office. Your customer service agents were informed and agreed to the conversation being recorded. You have not published a corporate number anywhere easily found. I have spent easily $5K-$10K on your service and have found proof of fraudulent practices against consumers and myself. The corporate office and legal departments have shielded themselves from consumer communications. I wanted to give you an opportunity before I go to the Local District Attorney and multiple news outlets locally and give them proof and videos of what you are doing to screw consumers like me and only care about profit. I see no other way to address this since your corporate office is intentionally blocked and hidden from contact. I have made several attempts to bring this information to your attention all which have been blocked.

Ripped me off

I needed a prescription delivered from Costco. I placed the order, but had to cancel it due to a family emergency. I received a confirmation email that my order was successfully cancelled, but I never received my money back. I called their customer service twice. It has been two weeks and still no refund. Now I have to go through the hassle of getting my Credit Union to stop payment. It was only about 18 bucks, but thats still not right. We have about 19 prescriptions at Costco that are frequently filled. Instacart wont be delivering for us anymore.

Instacart needs improvement

Instacart can improve by making sure the shoppers bag correctly. And stop forgetting items in their car after they leave. This is happened to me multiple times. I had one shopper who dad my eggs with canned items. I had another shopper who forgot items in their car. Instacart did NOT end up, refunding me for those items, it was very inconvenient for me. Also confirming delivery instead of dropping groceries off in front of the door without notifying the customer. The shopper must realize people will steal from the buyer. This will cause the customers and Instacart to come out of more money and time wasted. Instacart employees delivered my groceries to another residence twice then they had to re-deliver, but the second time the shopper didnt have most of the items that I needed. I was unsatisfied with what I received I end up having to pay more to replace and it was very inconvenient. Instacart customer service did the best they could at the moment for making an effort to fix the issues. My suggestion is that they start asking their customer what they can do to help resolve issues, instead of assuming they want re-delivery, credit etc. I havent received no credit or coupons was added to my account even tho I was promised this by customer support. And Still havent received refunds for items I didnt get. Hopefully instacart improves their policy and customer experience in the future. Until that happens I am canceling my subscription

Promocode error

In the course of using Instacart for the first time, several promo codes were offered. I chose the $40.00 off on orders totaling over $100.00.. l did qualify, but the code seemed to be missing at checkout, eventho l used the promocode "go to check out" green button which is supposed to carry the code over to your checkour window. I thought it would show up once l put credit info in your system and confirmed checkout. It and your system failed. You are aware of these promocodes because, indeed, you are offering them to me and your customers, albeit thru third parties. Please redo the order, and place the code into my order, properly. As a first time user to your site, l may have proceeded to checkout improperly, but you should be able to Insta-fix this issue when l immediately called your customer service at a call center in Georgia.. instead, l spent the better part of an hour waiting for an perpetually unavailable supervisor because your c/s reps are not properly trained to rectify this. My promocode had an expiration date of July 5th, 2023. Please redo my order with the $40 off promocode BEFORE its expiration. Please improve my, to date, unimpressive and disappointing experience with Instacart.. and do it Insta-quickly!

Horrible in Seattle area

Grocery Delivery from Fred Meyer (Kroger).got text stating on its way im 5 mins away. Never arrived & I was charged for it!! Had to reorder. Total of 5 hrs wait on an expedited fee! Called to complain. Shopper lied to IC and said only 1 checker and rude manager. This place is Huge! Never less than 10 checkers. Manager is friend. He never had a convo with a IC shopper. Lying POS. I will never order grocery delivery again, even when im sick. Amazon Fresh if needed. 10 days later after complaint no refund.

Instacart didn't honor unexpired promotion

Instacart does not honor the promotions it offers to customers. This was my most recent experience. Previously, I've had other major issues with the company, some that remain unresolved to this day. But this one takes the cake. If there were an award for the company with the most dishonest and untrustworthy business practices, Instacart should get it. Here's what happened to me: 1) On June 14th, Instacart sent me an e-mail about a promotion for Walmart. Terms: 50% of orders $35 or more. Maximum discount of $40. There was no promo code. Instacart would apply the 50% off discount at checkout. Expiration date: June 21. 2) On June 15th, I started assembling my Walmart order. I wasn't quite ready to check out, but wanted to see if the 50% discount was there. It was. 3) On June 16th, I finalized my order (total was appriximately $70 before any discounts) and started to check out. To my amazement, THE 50% DISCOUNT HAD DISAPPEARED. I double checked the expiration date of the promotion in my e-mail and confirmed it was still valid with a stated expiration date of June 21st. I also checked the valid promotions available to me in the Instacart app. It was there with a stated expirationdate of June 22nd. Since there was no promo code, I couldn't do anything with it, though. My next step was to call Instacart customer service. The first representative I spoke with spoke broken English and said there was nothing she could do. The second one was better, but didn't have a solution, either. So I got transferred to the call center's supervisor. She told me the promotion had reached its limit of the number of customers. What the what? She confirmed they wouldn't be honoring the 50% off Walmart promotion Instacart offered me, despite the stated expiration date in the e-mail of June 21st. She further said that the $10 off promotion that was substituted for the 50% off promotion was an apology. About that, if they had honored the 50% off promotion, I would have paid $35, and I was supposed to get free delivery. With the $10 off promotion, I would pay $60 PLUS a $9 "service fee" that magically appeared. I did the math: I was supposed to save $35 (plus the cost of delivery). Instead, witn the $10 off promotion, which included a $9 service fee, I would only save $1! Unbelievable. I am done with Instacart and will report them to the Better Business Bureau and post online reviews about my experience with Instacart. I also plan to order direct from stores Walmart. Lidl, Giant, Safeway and many others deliver directly to customers. As an aside, I recently signed up for Walmart+ (free trial for 30 days, then $7.95 a month that covers all deliveries of orders $35 or more plus other benefits). Bottom line: Beware of Instacart's dishonest business practices.

My account has been hacked

I have reached out to Instacart so many times they keep telling me within 24 to 48 hours. This will be solved. They hold me over $130. They have not paid me. They have not solved anything Im ready to give up.

App problems/earnings problems for shoppers and consumers

Something went very wrong with the app on one of my batches on April 1st. I have contacted Instacart Shopper "support" literally 8 times with NO RESPONSE thus far. The issue described below resulted in my having to work for less than minimum wage. First of all, I accepted an order and it didn't send me to the shopper portal. It just disappeared, so I didn't even know I had an order in my queue And I ended up driving three miles away from the store that I had to go to before I discovered it by accident when I was trying to figure out why I wasn't getting any batches. That cost was 20 minutes or more, plus gas. Then, the aisles that the app said the products were on were completely wrong, Even after I verified that I was at the correct store address. Most importantly, the pictures and descriptions didn't match the bar codes for the products that the customers were ordering (For example, a customer ordered a key lime yogurt, but the description in the app said peach, even though the picture showed key lime; in another instance, a customer ordered a half gallon of milk per the barcode, but the picture and description was for a full gallon), so I had to message the customers for nearly every item. Attached are 2 examples - a half gallon of milk ordered, but the app shows one gallon. And 2 carrots ordered, but the app not allowing me to enter 2 for the quantity. Lastly, the customers ordered products that the store manager said they never even carried. So the app shows customers products they can't actually buy, resulting in a bunch of outages. The order took more than twice as long as it should have. And in spite of me working very hard, I actually lost money making less than minimum wage and having to use my own car and gas. Not to mention, the customers were very angry with all of the product shortages and how many questions I had to ask them to get their order right. In spite of working my tail off for them for nearly 3 hours, trying to work through the app problems and get the best items for them that I could, I ended up working for LESS THAN MINIMUM WAGE, as they removed my tips, and had to use my own car to do so. I'm requesting an inconvenience bump, as well as for someone to look at what's going on with the Fred Meyer product descriptions and ordering platform, but no one from IC will even respond! What a mess!!

Missing groceries and will not refund money..

I made a grocery order at my closest publix...I picked up my order...order was 160.00...when I get home..I find 3 bags in my car...10 items of the 33 that were ordered. I immediately call the Publix, theytell me to call instacart and provide me with the phone number ..I call them ..1st lady said she tried to get in touch with the picker and was not able to so she could only refund me the money (5 to 7 days) or add a credit to my instacart account...I asked to speak to supervisor and she said that there was none...she disconnected the call...I cl back and advise of the situation..this lady tells yes, I see and we will credit the account and make another order and it will be delivered today... I asked 3 times if she was sure it would be delivered today..she assured me...10 minutes go by and then she stated that it has been escalated up and to wait 24 to 48 hours for an email...so at this point i asked for a supervisor and she said that they were in a meeting...thos is a sunday...there are no meetings on sunday...i asked her to just replace the items that were not given to me...told her I can provide a text picture to show the items...was told that would not be necessary...she disconnected... I call a third time and can not get a supervisor... my third agents name was angel...she definitely wasn't an angel to me...1st agent name was Snethemba and 2nd agents name ...so they have my money in limbo and I can't go to the store to get groceries because of this and she said wait for the email...that does nothing g to have dinner on the table ...so she basically is saying don't eat for 24 to 48 hours.. This is not what you call customer service... Help@***.com was given to contact for corporate was advised there is no actual phone number...
