Return policy

I ordered from this company and the parts were wrong so I ask for a refund because I couldn't take another chance and the shipping time, I needed to get it done as my truck has been down for to long. So I purchased the correct part via brick and mortar. This companies return policy is *** they charged me for shipping and a 5% restocking fee! So I have to pay because I received the wrong part! Buyer beware they suck!

Dissatisfied customer

Two of brake lines were not bent correctly-had to rebend. Received an extra line which did not fit anywhere. Customer support not helpful Will not do business with this company and will advise anyone to stay away.

Poor fit

My 1961 Impala had original brake lines. I installed set from Inline Tube. The drivers side rear line was bent towards the front of the axel at the brake cylinder but should have gone towards the rear of the a axel at the brake cylinder The rear line on drivers side from Inline Tube must have been modeled from a car that had passenger side brake cylinders on both sides in the rear of that car.

Terrible experience

Little thinking goes into the product. Example, one tube has a coupling that lands dead-center of a body mount clip. Another tube has a 1/2 inch connection that is supposed to connect to a 3/8 inch proportioning valve port. The customer service is no good for nothing. They asked for a picture - no response after it was sent. Don't make my mistake by doing business with this first-rate-second-rate outfit!

IT'S BEEN FOUR DAYS SINCE I ASKED FOR TECH SUPPORT

I PURCHASED A DUEL MASTER CYLINDER RETROFIT KIT TO REPLACE MY ORIGINAL SINGLE MASTER CYLINDER ON MY 1965 GTO. I BLED THE NEW MASTER CYLINDER, REMOVED THE OLD ONE FROM THE BRAKE PEDAL, WITH THE PUSH ROD STILL ATTACHED, REMOVED THE PUSH ROD FROM THE OLD MASTER CYLINDER, WENT TO ATTACH TO THE NEW CYLINDER AND THE STOP PLATE THAT HOLDS THE PUSH ROD TO THE MASTER CYLINDER IS TOO BIG FOR WHAT INLINE TUBE PROVIDED. ALSO, I ASKED A BRAKE LINE COMPANY (INLINE TUBE) FOR GUIDANCE ON WHAT TO DO WITH THE REAR BRAKE LINE BECAUSE IT IS NOW AN INCH TOO LONG WITH THE NEW BRASS BRAKE LINE JUNCTION THEY PROVIDED. NO HELP, NO CALL, NO EMAIL, NO NOTHING. BUY SOMEWHERE ELSE WHERE YOU CAN GET SUPPORT!

Wrong parts, poor service...

Ordered full brake line set for 1966 GMC. Only two of eight lined were useable. Remainder were wrong size, wrong shape and too short to re bend and use. Contacted sales and was advised only 50% refund if I ate shipping cost to return 6 of 8 lines that were incorrect. Threw 6 brand new lines in the garbage.

Buy somewhere else

The brake booster I bought is advertised specifically for my vehicle. The minute I opened the box I knew it was wrong. Requested a return/refund and after several email exchanges they advised i would get a credit, but they were deducting freight for both ways and applying a 20% restocking fee. So the customer pays for their mistake. Find an alternate source for your parts, these guys are clueless.

A bit disappointed with Customer Service

I purchased a complete stainless steel brake line kit for my 1979 Pontiac Firebird *SPFB7602) - back in February of 2015. I've owned this car since 1984 - and I have been building it into a pro-touring style Trans Am for the past 10 years ( I travel 50% of my time for work - so needless to say a long project). I am just now at the point of adding brake fluid and completing the brake system. I pressurized the front brake circuit to 15psi with air in order to check for leaks, and found one at the drivers side brake line connection to the adapter fitting clipped into the frame. This is the fitting that mates to the flex line to the caliper. I disassembled the line and removed the male to female flare adapter fitting - and the male flare sealing surface was scored...... Took a look at the female flare that was formed o the Inline Tube hard line - and the flare was poorly made.......... So, four years after buying this - I've found what I consider to be a defect. My travel actually had me in Detroit the following week - so I thought "How convenient, I can stop in, show them what I am dealing with, and talk to some car people....." I expected a free replacement, or at least some consideration on the price of a new line. Well, no free line, no discounted price, and I had to purchase both the drivers and passengers side lines for $55 dollars. Not a ton of money, but still some cash out of pocket. No "Sorry that this happened"...... Nothing. I actually offered to let them keep the passenger's side line - as I had no use for it. It was going to be chucked into the trash in order to keep the clutter out of the garage. The poor guy looked at me like I had two heads.......... "We can't do that....... We can't resell it......." Totally threw a wrench in his inner workings. Maybe I expected an auto enthusiast company to behave a little differently...... To cater to someone building a dream project and to not act like a big company and roll over top of custiomers....... But I was disappointed. So, as always, inspect your stuff to the Nth degree........ And scale your expectations back a bit. Sorry to say that I probably won't source from Inline again

Horrible customer support

Ordered rear brake lines for a buick, their website states they fit the rear axle. Called to confirm the lines were correct because its a front wheel drive car. Received lines that are nothing like originals. Was told to send lines back & email photos showing the lines are wrong & i would recive a full refund when they see that they are wrong. Only received a partial refund with no explination. Cant even call to speak to a human over there to get answers. Will NOT deal with them again.

Customer Service is NON EXISTENT

Ordered a set of preformed stainless brake lines for a 99 Trans Am. Their catalog has 2 different packages - 1 without flex lines installed (part # PFB9801) and 1 with flex lines installed (part # PFB9802). Since my car had the flex lines near the ABS unit on the original set I ordered the PFB9802 set which was about $60 more than the non-flex line set. Received order and everything looked ok. After installing everything, the lines that connect to the ABS unit were too long by about 12" each. It appeared that the InLine Tube technician who assembled the set probably took the PFB9801 set, cut the lines that come up to the ABS unit and installed the flex line without removing a section of hard line to compensate for the added length. I called their "tech support" number and the recorded message said to check the FAQ section of the web site or send an email - no option to talk to a real person or to leave a message and have a person call you back. You figure they would make a point to respond back quickly, right? - WRONG! My brake repair project was delayed an extra week or more while I waited for InLine Tube to tell me what they were going to do to help me. And guess what, they did nothing! Several emails back and forth with non-answers to the problem they created. They offered to make another set of lines after I send the original order back to them but I don't have time or patience to remove the lines I installed and ship them back - and they probably wouldn't take them back or refund money since I had already installed them anyway. I asked them to send me a flare tool so I could cut and re-flare the lines to the correct length - that's the least they could do to correct the problem they created I though. I couldn't wait any longer so I ended up removing the flex lines and connecting the hard lines to each other. I called InLine Tube and when I got the recorded choice message I chose the option to place a new order so I could get to a real person. I told that person my dilemma and they agreed to give me a partial refund for the $60 difference between the flex line set and the non flex line set. A few days later - no refund on my credit card and I received an email with a packing label and instruction on how to return the order - FRUSTRATING!!! I will not use InLine Tube for future projects and if you value customer service, you shouldn't either.

Resolved: Still Waiting....

Updated by user Oct 03, 2019
After about 2 or 3 weeks of jumping through hoops and waiting for no good reason, I finally received a refund. I feel like I should have asked for interest after waiting for so long.

Update- I FINALLY got ahold of a human being in sales, (pro tip, there's always a human when you want to cancel and/or buy) he have me some excuse to defend the lack of CS. About a week later, they sent me a return label. A couple days after that I shipped it back....

Ebay auction advertises fuel lines for 06-11 Chevy HHR w/ 2.2L. Used ebay's vehicle checker which confirms the part will fit. Get the part on a Tuesday. Unbox them and they seem undamaged. Saturday, the wife has the day off. I remove the old fuel lines and match up old with new. 2 lines, Fuel and Evap. The Fuel line has a 90 degree bend that the old one doesn't have. The connections are all wrong on both lines. Started a return on Ebay to which I have to drum up another $18 just to get my refund, since they don't pay for return shipping, even though they have an "RMA" process as if they were paying for it. Contacted them by email, per THEIR "Return Process Instructions", no reply. Called their phone number, dead end recording. Used their . . . ahem. . . "LIVE CHAT" which is not live, nor is it a chat since no one spoke to me there either. Horse *** Going to take pictures before I ship it off and leave them the negative feedback they deserve.

Stay Away Stay Away Stay Away

Twice I used them and both times were a nightmare. The trans lines I got weren’t even close to OEM lines They sent me adapters that which extended the lines so much that it hit the shifter bracket. Impossible fit. The original line had no adapter. This is poor engineering. I also had brake lines that were the wrong ones they were from a year earlier model. They would not pay for return shipping. I had to pay. What a disgrace. I called inline tube about the trans line problem they said take picture an depending we’re vehicle was made could be an issue. I said there only one kind of lines made for this vehicle an verified it from the dealer They call them self’s a reputable company. I don’t think so. Stay Away Stay Away They are not the only game in town
