Still Scamming in 2014

September 2014: I wish we had found this website earlier. Jason Hearne scammed us out of $8,400 in April 2014. He sent us emails with what we thought were legitimate travel arrangements and hotel reservations. Once he had our money, our contact with him quickly diminished. He stopped answering the phone, texts, and emails. We even tried knocking on his door. He does not answer. He does not even sign for certified mail. He hides. Do not give Jason Hearne your money. If you have a similar experience, please report it to the FBI White Collar Crimes division in Las Vegas (702) 385-****. You can also file a complaint with the Nevada Attorney General's office (702) 486-****. We will never get our money back, but hopefully someone else will be saved by this information.

Iep-Group international event cheated me?

Back in end of Sep. 2011 I received an offer from iep group for hotel reservtion for 2012 Nuremberg toy fair, their offer was very attractive, so I sent the requests to iep contacted person Tony Carey, he replied my question very quick, so there is no doubt I made the hotel reservtion through him, then, As usual I gave my credit information to iep group, and immediately I found International Event charged the full payment on Oct. 2, then, after that date, I sent several emails to them, but gets none any answer, so I contacted directly to the hotel (Martim hotel Nuremberg), and the hotel informed me there is none any information about my reservation, I got this information 3 month after I booked, is that mean I was cheated by international event iep group? What should I do now?

International Events Company in Las Vegas

International Events Please do not do any business with International Events. The office is in Las Vegas and the website is http://www.iepgroupinc.com/. They will try to help you book hotels for the events. They will not give the reservation number. If you tried to canceled the reservation. They will not refund you and will tell you that they're a 3rd party company and the booking company is filling for bankruptcy. It's a scam and please stay away from this company so you won't have to be sorry. I hope someone will pursue and get this company out of business. Thank you,

Warning! Do not use International Events in Las Vegas NV

Please contact the Attorney General (see address below) if you have had problems with International Events, 6173 S. Rainbow Blvd Suite 100,Las Vegas. (They also may show an address on Lindell Avenue and the company was previously known as Itravel). A Sales Representative will contact you stating they offer discounts on hotel rooms for tradeshow attendees and exhibitors. DO NOT use their services. This company's merchant account has been shut down multiple times because customer complaints and chargebacks. The company will then obtain other merchant accounts. They also push for cash payments by offering customers a 5% discount, as there is no recourse for the consumer who pays by check. Your money upfront gives the company owners money to use at their discretion. Large numbers of customers have been stuck with no hotel rooms because they were not paid for by International Events or the customer had to pay for their rooms at the hotel because there was no payment. Where did the money go if the customer pays in advance and why weren't the rooms paid for? --Because the owners want to use the money .... 75% of the staff has left because the company did not provide their customers with the services they paid for -- and suspect fraudulent activities.

SCAM International Events, Las Vegas

Our company pre-paid and booked hotel through IEPgroup with the great rates they provided. It turned out that they never paid the hotel and all our 9 rooms were unpaid. On the agreement, it states specifically that we should contact them directly and not the hotel for any changes, thus we didn't find out that there were problems until the day of reservation had come. On the reservation date, IE then email us that they are in debt and they will pay back, but it will take time, they are still fighting it out and not declaring bankruptcy. The staffs at this company also come and go very often, thus the communication with the company was very poor and inefficient. We have been ignored when asking for our money back.
