IChurch scam - File a complaint

I would encourage each of you to file a stop payment with your bank and then file a claim to have them get your money back. I spoke with my bank and they told me to attempt to contact them again but if I cannot or if they refuse to pay my money back to me it doesn't matter and they will take further action. I've made multiple attempts to call, I've emailed and they are always "unavailable" to help and rather than keeping you in a *** they tell you to try back. Adam, if you are happy to help, please pick up the phone!!!!!!

I got scammed by Ichurch

Same thing happened to me, small charge to verify my info next thing I know but not right away I go to my internet banking and $149.97 gone, stolen, robbed from me. So I wrote and asked for my money back told them I didn't agree to anything, however Sarah the person who responds to emails told me there was a terms of agreement....UM WHERE.....that I agreed to! What? I didn't see anything like that, however she said she would get back to me and I never heard back again and still don't have my money and mind you this was days before Christmas! Yes my children went without because of this unethical company. I am gathering people who are interested in a class action suit. I have my email on another site with the same complaints. If you are interested in getting involved please email me at miss_shellez@***.com. I have received some emails so from others and am just trying to get more before I contact a lawyer. This happened to me a year ago. Good for the people who have gotten their money back, I am unfortunately not one of them. Hope to hear from some of you soon.

Riped off buy ichurch

I was told to allow the use of my credit card for only proof of age and ichurch took a total of 150.00 out of my account. They have not returned any calls. They denied the claim to return the funds to my bank even after my bank got involved. They are liars and I would not give these so called christians the time of day. I even took my account off line a week later, because I was in the hospt when all this happened. I am on a fixed income and thought I would meet some honest people. What a bunch of liars. My name is Frank Quaranta I live at 518 E. South St. Harrisville, WV 26362 and I would like my money bank

IChurch scammed me out of $149.97 by misrepresentaion.

I searched for a Christian chatroom and iChurch came up on search. I went there and agreed to pay a validation fee of $1.95 for verification of my identification. I "joined" what I thought was a free chatroom. I assumed they verified identification for safety reasons. I entered some personal information and didn't look at it again for almost 24 hours. They contacted my by email and said I had matches so I went and looked. I said I was interested in dialog with these matches and sent some preliminary questions. I again thought these were all safety precautions. I "joined" on Friday evening around 10:00 pm. I discovered my banking account was overdrawn on the next Monday so I checked it and they had removed $149.97 from my account. I immediately cancelled this "membership". I was contacted that my membership was cancelled but that I would not receive a refund because I agreed to the "Terms of agreement". I do not recall agreeing to any terms other than verification of my identity. I was only in their program for 64 hours total (48 hours of this was on the weekend). I have always understood that you could cancel anything within 3 business days. Anyhow, I entered a refund request and was denied so I entered an appeal and was told I could receive back $100 of the $149.97 because I used their services for a few hours. I was told I would receive this today. I have not received it. I actually received no services or any contact with any single, Christian male. Thank you. Sue Whitaker

Ichurch is a Credit Card SCAM

I see that other people signed up for the 1.95 verification fee which is of course supposed to prove that you are a real person. Yeah, and then Ichurch steals your money by debiting your account for 149.00. Don't worry about activating your account.they will do that for you for free!!!! Basically you might come out ahead if you dealt with the Scammers in Africa or the UK. These people are CROOKS. I called and they SAID they would give me my money back into my account. We will see. RUN the opposite direction! THEY are absolutely CROOKS in sheeps clothing. Thy claim to be Christians. Yeah, thankfully God IS watching and knows what is going on here. I wouldn't want to be in their shoes.

IChurch Credit Card Charge Scam

I registered for the iChurch date, and regretfully gave them my personal information only for verification purposes. In no time I was a member (what I thought was a free membership). Recently, when I checked my credit card statement, not only did the company take out the verification fee; they also took out another charge on my card. I contacted iChurch, and they told me I didn't read the Terms of Service agreement... We can't refund your money. Next I contacted the BBB, but the BBB cannot find a good address on the company. I am pissed and sick to my stomach about the money they fraudulently took off my credit card.
