Order update

Trouble finding a customer Service email address. Somehow directed to this service. I received a response within 48 hours

Pump order and CC charged, never received it or any explanation....

I ordered a spa pump over a month ago and they charged my card and it never came. No email of any delays...site said 7 to 10 days for delivery, 48 hours processing. I emailed them to ask about my order status and they did not respond, then a credit email from my CC company came up. No wonder this company has such bad reviews, stay away!

Never shipped item after 16 days

After contacting the company 3 times over a 16 day timeframe I was told the item was back ordered. Each employee gave me the run around for shipping and never giving an eta. I finally had to cancel the order after being led along for over 2 weeks. Horrible company policies, and employees never give you the right information. Different excuse every time I spoke with them.

Unsatisfied with return of item damaged during shipping

I received a broken pump, requested to return it for a new one, didn't want to wait until they received it back so I purchased a new one. It took over a week to get the return shipping info. The day the new one arrived the driver also had the info for the return item. That was on 6/11, they said it didn't show returned until 6/16 and I'm still waiting on my refund because "it was shipped to the wrong warehouse". Coincidentally, the replacement pump they sent me was damaged, but not enough to keep it from working, so I just kept it. WOULD NEVER ORDER FROM THE AGAIN!!

Return Policy

I ordered a railing to help my 82 year old father get in and out of our new hot tub. When my order arrived I found that it didnt work for our needs. To return the item I have to spend $80 to $115 to send it back. With the 10% restocking fee it is more expensive than what I paid for the railing. I wont purchase anything else from Hot Tub Works.

They sent me the wrong motor and then forced me to pay $75 shipping cost and 20% restocking fee. FIND ANOTHER SELLER

Update: We’re still waiting, with no resolution.... The manager, Alea, had promised they were expediting a new cover to us (since the first arrived damaged, after they initially sent us someone else’s cover). Was supposed to be here this week, haven’t heard a thing,...

We ordered a new hot tub cover from this company the first week of January 2020. Waited nearly a month for delivery (the tracking number they sent didnt work) and eventually they showed up with someone elses cover. The shipping label on the outside of the box clearly stated someone elses name and an address in Texas - we are in Colorado Springs! We refused delivery and called the company. They said theyd investigate right away but no-one got back to us. We called a couple more times, called the actual manufacturer of the cover, Prestige, and called the shipping company. Finally got an email that our correct cover would be arriving the next day. Then got a call it wouldnt be arriving due to weather. The day after, they showed up with the cover... with a severely damaged box and a huge gash in the cover. We refused the delivery again. I have called customer service, emailed customer service, and called again asking for the manager, Alea, and am still waiting on a reply. Their repeated missteps and lack of customer service has now led us to research reviews and Better Business Bureau complaints. We should have done that first as this appears to be their MO! We are ready to cancel our order today if things arent rectified.

Not a worthy Hot Tub Cover maker

Ordered the deluxe hot tub cover as recommended, after delivery, and within three months tearing took place at the center fold skirting seam (flap). Followed the steps toward warranty, as requested by Hot Tub Works. These were minor seam stitching breaks, a simple fix, yet Hot Tub Works immediately claimed that the issue was our doing. We take very good care of our hot tub, including the cover. This includes a cover holder that allows us to slide the cover into a protective holder. The company has NO interest in customer care or return business. Covers are made in Mexico and repair, along with warranty, is certainly not evident. I would look elsewhere and be cautious to any positive claims toward Hot Tub Works. They will not be given any of my business or yours too.

Terrible Customer Service and Nobody Cares

I ordered a $450 hot tub cover from the Hot Tub Works website on 4/5/2018 and it is now 5/16/2018 and I have NOT received anything yet. I have called their Customer Service Dept. several times and was told that the manufacturer, Prestige Covers, makes the cover and then it is shipped to the consumer via Forward Air. After following up with Forward Air, they could only tell me that the cover has been in my city in a warehouse since 4/16/2018 (A MONTH AGO) and that Hot Tub Works needs to call them to discuss the next steps. I again called Hot Tub Works Customer Service and was told that they would follow up to the shipping and logistics people. In all of this time nobody has followed up with me via phone, text or e-mail. I am convinced this company does not care about my business and even though I have purchased chemicals, etc. from them over the years, I will NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN!

Damaged cover

Hot tub cover was delivered appears ok no damage put on tub and did not use tub for 2weeks .Went into tub noticed damage on inside seam where cover folds called and emailed hot tub works after week called them back they claimed to have emailed me dod not get will not help me with problem Told me to take vinyl off and ship to factory for repair How the *** are you supposed to do that? will not help me at all 3 cover i have purchased from them 439 dollars wasted Do not buy from them made mistake of looking at reviews after i bought

They made a mistake in billing or somewhere . Have since corrected the issue. Am Pleased with the results of this whole matter.

The worst customer care and service to date.

Ordered a hot tub cover and it came to us quickly. That was good. Unfortunately it is not the size we ordered. So now we have a giant cover. We call customer service and explain the problem. They offer to let us buy another cover and keep the giant mistake they sent us. Really? At this point they have already screwed up and want me to give them another chance at full price. Lol . Fix your mistake, be trustworthy. We will not be ordering from them again..in fact I will take every opportunity to share my experience so others do not blindly fall victim to this scam.

*** poor quality and do not stand behind their product!

I purchased a cover from Hot Tub works less than a year ago. The cover (foam) now sags, the galvanized steel reinforcement bar is rusted, and overall construction is cheap! The last cover I had lasted about 5 years. The representatives have sidestepped any responsibility that should have been theirs by saying I should have bought their more expensive models, and the pH was too high which deteriorated the material, etc. Bulls###!! Make a cover that withstands the elements that it will come in contact with. They won't replace it but want to charge me $150 for shipping new foam pieces to me. Told them i would buy their more expensive cover if they put the money towards it I spent on this one, but they wouldn't do it. Was going to buy a swing bar for the cover if they made it right with me, but now I will never buy another product from them! *** poor customer service and poor craftsmanship. Remember when companies used to stand behind their product and strived to be the best.

Hot Tub Cover Leaks Rain Water

I purchased a new hot tub cover from this company in 0ctober 2016. We drain our hot tub in the summer and noticed water inside the hot tub after a rain storm. I called the company and they said " covers are not made to be waterproof". I told them that my last cover that lasted 7 years never leaked. They told me this was not a warranty issue. Their website leads you to believe that with all the heal sealing and vacuum sealing they proclaim to do will prevent moisture from entering the tub. This is NOT true and I was told to throw a tarp over the hot tub cover to prevent rain water from seeping through the cover. Poor solution. Poor business.
