Since I tried using this app in 2021 my information ended up in the Dark Web and have not been able to retrieve it back. I am so sorry I fell for the advertising. I

I had my home for sale and needed more information. I got a one page with minimum information that I already had. I didn't want to pay more and now my information is out there in the Dark Web. Bewarea

Their Customer Service

I have tried to get a refund for the charges because they won't provide me with a report on the value of a property I requested unless I set-up and account or login to my account (I don't have an account). When I asked for a refund they wanted me to provide them with more personal info including my cc info but would not respond to my questions about why they identified as HomeValueNebraska.us.org or if they were associated with that name. When I asked for additional details regarding HomeValue.us.org (where they are located, etc.) they would not provide me with any of that info.

Scam alert

They tell you the report is $1.00, but before you know it, you're clicking on an offer - the only offer available on the page, that's $424.99. Nowhere on the page can you opt out or sign up for the advertised $1 offer. Usually I get angry when my card flags suspicious outfits, but in this case I'm $23.99 worth of glad.

This is a scam, stay away

They charge $1.00 and take your credit card information then end the customer contact presumably because they have what they wanted to get as opposed to providing the real estate information they https://www.memberreportsonline.com/member/login.php?logopart_1=&logopart_2=advertised.

Fraud

Said it would be a $1 for the report , then someone called saying they were from fraud protection from my bank . It was them and not my bank. I said I did not authorize a 18$ charge . I'm going to my bank tomorrow to stop payment

Thank you for the warning

Thank you for those who posted a warning about HomeValueOhio.us.org...I wanted to let you know the warnings worked. I read the reviews on this suite before I was ripped off by the site. They state a $1 fee just to keep up their database...but NEVER mention there would be another $18 fee. You are all right, this a fraudulent and ethically wrong. Thank you for taking the time to post your experiences to save others from this misleading website.

Fraudulent charges

I authorized a $1.00 payment, all they do is query some public records. Then a charge of $18.95 from homedataonline.com shows up on my credit card! Do not use this website!!!

Overcharged

Stated fee was $1 then charged 18.95. Notifying bank immediately and filing a complaint with FTC

Charging over 18 dollars to credit card

Looking up property value in another state they say they will do it for only one dollar then charged me over 18 dollars, and still no report.

Rip off

The report I paid for had the same information that I can get for free from Zillow. No new or different information at all. On top of that, I thought I was paying a dollar but was charged $18.95 for multiple reports and a subscription. I never saw that option and still don't know how I selected it. They did cancel the ongoing subscription, but still charged me the $18.95 + $1. Total RIP OFF. Hi

HOMEVALUE.US.ORG, PROPERTYVALUELOOKUP.COM, FINDHOMESVALUE.COM FRAUD

This company operates many websites such as propertyvaluelookup.com, findhomesvalue.com, home value.us.org etc. and by the time you read this, they will have switched to new domain names. This is a FRAUDULENT company and their modus operandi is as follows: 1. They advertise on Google AdWords (I don't know how a company like Google allows such fraudsters to advertise on their network) and when you type in keywords like "property value" or "home value" these websites offer a detailed property report for just $1. If you are considering making an offer on a home, you can easily be tempted into buying a detailed property report for just $1. However, this is just a tactic to bait and switch you. 2. As soon as you put in your credit card information, there is a step where they ask you to "accept" or "decline" their terms but very deceitfully they have a "$180 for 24 reports for 1 year access" built into that page. When you read their terms and conditions to see if there is any reference to the $180, there is none. So you naturally assume the $180 up-sell is optional and you agree to their website terms and conditions and privacy policy. 3. Now, the fun begins. The report is a useless piece of junk - all publicly available information on Trulia, Zillow etc. It turns out that this deceitful, misleading way is legal and they have the right to charge you $14.95 for 12 months ($180 over 12 months) and they do just that - you just ended up paying $14.95 for a useless report they were going to charge you $1 for!!! I call this fraud company and get the message 'all our operators are busy' and hear nothing but "hold" music for over 20 minutes. I look around their website again for the Terms and Conditions and they are not visible anywhere!! No 'billing history' is available either (to find out how much I was charged). So I call up my credit card company on the other line - Capital One and they were awesome! Their rep put me through to their Fraud Department and the rep their immediately understood that I was just conned. He is the one who gave me the name and number of the "parent" company homevalue.us.org which operates this network of fraudulent *** sites. The Capital One rep reassured me and informed me that I could dispute the charge. He also offered to put me on hold while he dialed this fraud homevalue.us.org company on a 3 way conference. I naturally agreed to this and told him I was kept on hold for over 20 minutes. So the HomeValue.us.org rep is now on a 3 way conference with me and the Capital One rep and I confront her and just tell her everything that happened and demand an explanation. She gives me a 'boxed' answer and some BS. I confront her about this network of fraud websites and she conforms that all of them are owned by this company and immediately offers to give me a full refund! Stay away from HOMEVALUE.US.ORG, PROPERTYVALUELOOKUP.COM and FINDHOMESVALUE.COM! The whois lookup for the domain propertyvaluelookup.com shows that it is owned by some Shwetha Bagla of Orange Cube.
