Let me tell you what happened.( Nothing Bad ).My wife Diana an I have never purchased a manufacturer home before. But with the help of Mark an Heather explanation of the whole process we were quite pleased. They told us it would be about a year out. From our down payment. That we would receive the home. Guess what? They were right on the money. I should also throw in the contractor they set up for us. Jake, our contractor, has been out several times, doing permits and ECT. He finished our concrete pad months ago. So that when the house comes at the end of this month, everything is ready to go. After we receive our home. And been in it, I will write another review to let everyone know how everything turned out. Thank you, Mark & Heather Adams.

Structural and cosmetic issues

Mr. Sylvester, I have a terrible after-sales service. You don't care about your customer. You, Mr. Sylvester, do not do your business well. After set up, It was a mess, I don't think there was a wall without a crack. Plus many more problems. I am having a hard time getting you to repair and replace the damage. Olga Craig

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE

2 YEARS LATER, NO PROJECT MANAGEMENT, NO CARE AS TO IF PROJECT IS ACTUALLY FINISHED, NO CARE AS TO LOSS OF MONEY, THIS IS A TERRIBLE AND NEGLIGENT COMPANY, I AM SURPRISED THAT THEY ARE STILL IN BUSINESS.

Home is not finished YET!!!

Mr. Sylvester! Please finish your job!!! Dealing with this company and Mr. Sylvester has become a nightmare. Beware of issues with this company. Mr. Sylvester demonstrates poor communication skills and desire to provide customer satisfaction.

Extremely disappointed

My husband and I went to see them and met with Brad who seems like the nicest guy ever and he got us to sign for a 4-bedroom 3-bath and he had to put down a deposit in which he said that we would get our house pretty soon. they sent the contractor out on May and we waited and wated for the BID . spoke with home direct and they told me they are waiting still for the BID. Brad completely ignored my emails and pushed me.off to another guy who also ignores me. they told us that they have reached out multiple times to the contractor and that he was ignoring them. come to find out they were lying this whole time. and still nothing

I'm concerned. Just signed final documents for purchase but everything seems like dealing with a shady cars salemen.

Very Dissatisfied Customer

We purchased a new manufactured home in Sep 2020. Finally got it delivered on Feb 15, 2020. It looked like they rolled it over on the highway getting it here it was so destroyed. The factory repair crew said that it was the worst that they had ever seen. I wrote up 6 pages of corrections. Still waiting for the bath faucets that we ordered to be installed. Have been waiting since Apr 4 to be reimbursed for having to remove and install new tile backsplash in the baths, dining, and kitchen. They don't return calls and when they do they always say the same I'll get back to you but never do.

Has not completed my manufactured home after a years time

it was delivered damaged, one section had a missing window. half of the siding needed to be replaced, during the rainy season the roof leaked like a sieve. there was major sheet rock damage in two thirds of the house. it is now a year since it was delivered, an the manufacturer says warranty issues expired after a year. they still need to replace a window, a door, complete the light fixtures. yes it has mold which they have done nothing about. it has been 2 months since they have been. they always have excuses when i call. i can not move in until i get a finale walk through. they got paid. wanting to move in and can't

Currently very dissatisfied

Most often, calls are not returned by the sales or management crew UNTIL a threat is made to file formal complaints with the BBB or the contractor's licensing board. Not a reliable business structure. They may recommend you use contractors on their preferred list. My guess is there is some sort of financial arrangement or referral fee between them. They have not been thorough or honest on many occasions, We have been working with them for one year in attempt to have our home completed. They have not even poured the foundation for our home yet. They have one excuse after another as to why they have so many delays. Unacceptable.

Still waiting on factory repairs

Our home was delivered in April 2020 after almost a full year of waiting. We were told that our punch list of items would be addressed by the factory, but we are still waiting on that call back (it is now July 2020). We have attempted to call Homes Direct Albuquerque several times and are always directed to their Maintenance guy Steve who never calls back. This entire experience has been a year of lies and deceit.

Horrible customer service

They threatened me this is the threat: u..... however ... all this that you have put in motion with all these complaints .. well.. all it has done is put your loan in a retraction status unmotivated all Parties and soon you will be without a loan and a home. I’m just letting you know the course that will happen.. it not a threat ... it’s a fact. The above threat came from Heath after I complained (Sacramento) . I’m under stress and they never started. Be very careful of this place. I’m scared.

Stay away

Price posted on the refrigerator looks appealing but in the long run it will cost you to to three times more they don’t tell you these things upfront they also don’t tell you that it takes not 30 days to get your own *** up but it takes a year they don’t tell you that they will be at Carol Monday but they didn’t say which month they don’t pay their bills nobody that has worked there and work there very long They love you to death until the contracts were signed in the screen your calls because they know that you’re gonna be calling complaining about where is my home why I need somebody here fixing it why didn’t somebody here working on it and if you do happen to get through there just flat like to you will have somebody there on Monday morning again which month that’s what they don’t tell you They have had clients it walked in there and paid 100% cash and 12 months later you’re still not in your home when they were promised it would take 30 days their clients that they request 100% upfront which is against California laws California law state that you only have to pay 10% down and balance upon completion anyway it is not worth the headaches the problems that you will go through Is mind blowing you cannot believe how much trouble you bought when you sign a contract

Beware

Homes Direct Sacramento Heath Sparks is a lier It was suppose to take 30 days to set the home up It’s been 7 months. The office does not answer the phone they screen there calls They don’t pay there contractors an when they do they don’t pay the full invoice I was told I needed to order my home right away to prevent price increases The home was m Not even ordered for three months Once you sign the contract you are on your on I can give you a list of at least 15 customers with the same review

Horrible and unprofessional

I dealt with shawn/Homes direct Atlanta. After speaking for over a month straight and negotiating a deal on a property at 404 N Chestnut St Derry PA 15627, my offer of $10,000 was finally accepted. Things were set up and agreed on verbally and were to move forward. Title settlement company was in the loop and waiting on seller to sign. After 3 weeks of leaving half a dozen messages, no call backs. I finally called main line number and spoke with her boss Cortland and he told me that they sold the property to someone else. After speaking with them about how unprofessional this was, all they could do is apologize. Pathetic! Do not buy through them!

Worst experience ever. NITEMARE!

Look to purchase a home from Albuquerque / Espanola New Mexico homes Direct. 7 months later still no home. Because of this I sold my home due to the mortgage requirements from 21st Mortgage. Thinking I'd have a new home which didn't happen. I am now homeless looking for a place to rent while I find a home. I give this place a 0 star rating. For Todd being a president he has some sorry poor customer skills. No apology for his sorry skills in customer service. Todd needs step down and let someone who cares about homes direct takeover. I would call text email to no avail no response. Only to his convenience which could be weeks. WARNING! If you want to avoid a nightmare do not purchase from homes Direct. They will give you a smile and a handshake until they take some money. Then could care less about you.
