Poor Customer Service

I wouldn't recommend using HIBU the leads are scams and numerous scam calls. They will tell you one price then send you a bill for over the amount. They will brush you off to multiple people when you call in and try to cancel something you never physically signed in the first place. We called ,texted and emailed over a month now and continue getting same results. I wasn't going to leave a review, but im so tired of the run around by HIBU.

Scam artists

RuScam. They are owned by Dex/Thryv, who routed me off once. Didnt realize they owned Hibu. Just got another bad deal with hibu G*** W******* is disgusting. Hes been there 9 years and knows exactly whats going on. Please someone bring this company down.

Misleading Sales Rep & Awful Customer Service

As a new business owner the sales agent manipulated me and ended up recommending features I needed, but NEVER explained I was in a contract. FYI - they are NOT a marketing company as they advertise. Yes, they put you on listings and can create a website. I live in a small town and was not told that the call tracking feature would not allow the client to reach me first, instead it went thru this recording process and most people hung up before I was able to answer the phone. Also, the call tracking feature is very confusing to clients. You are given a different number vs. your actual phone number, so when you call someone back they see a different number that they did not call thus not answering the phone. Another new issue I am not experiencing is bots using my text messaging system, so I am not getting real leads but Hibu thinks they are. Lastly, Hibu assist is a joke for my business and I don't need it and it was not properly described to me or I would have refused. Like I said, my sales person was a scoundrel and completely manipulative. STAY AWAY FROM HIBU!

Waste of Money

I was completely over sold. They have done nothing to increase my business. As a small business, I tried to get more business for my employees; their main source of income is from commission. I addressed my concerns months ago and talked about additional advertising with Google. They just wanted more money. I asked if we could downgrade my current services (I did take their most expensive option) and they said let me ask, you might have to wait. Really, I am prepared to spend more, so my people could eat better. BEWARE...THIS IS A COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY!

Over Sold - BEWARE

It's so sad that as a small business owner I was deceived so badly. With the amount of money spent to increase business for my people and their families. I have a commissioned base company so more business more money. No generated business came from them. They have great sales people, they must make their money on sign up bonuses because there is no way people are continuing to stay with HIBU and if you are get out! Waste of money.

AWFUL COMPANY - BEWARE

They entered into a contract with me and provided me with false claims of advertising and approval of any website and ads that would go live. They failed to do this. Their website had errors, they redirected my company calls and they spammed my personal and private email account versus using the business email account for reviews. They fail to connect as they don't want to acknowledge my complaints that are unethical and a breach of contract. They have thousands of bad reviews, class action lawsuits, lawsuits for labor and employment and other actions against them. RUN FAR AWAY -

Worst experience ever

They lock you into a 6-month contract. They charge you for ppl leaving reviews on their website. Customer service argued with me when i finally canceled my last month. WASTE OF MONEY! Cheaper and easier to do it yourself.

Cannot cancel

Going to start off by saying that I dont hate my sales rep at all. He was new to HIBU. That being said. I am extremely disappointed in the product/ service. I have tried to get my website to fully represent my business but it doesnt do the job. I dont have time to sit on the phone and explain my industry. I requested to cancel and was told Im in a 6 month minimum term but I could call my sales rep for approval to cancel. So I did, but he has already quit that company and gave me his former manager who advised that I was given false hope. Its been a headache and disappointment from the start. My sales rep always had to take my requests and escalate them to get anything done I just want to cancel and work with an industry specific designer because HIBU isnt it. Im told Im stuck until October which stinks because that is the beginning of peak season for my industry and I wont have the type of website I want without basically doing a lot of work myself or staying on the phone trying to help them design. I want out of this contract asap. Im probably going to have to call my lawyer which is fine but it just is frustrating all around

Lies, deception and handcuffed to a “contact” for services that clearly do not meet the need of my business.

I posted a job on Upwork looking for someone to manage my social media advertising for my e-commerce business. A Hibu representative reached out and sold me on their social media marketing product claiming they were a preferred company with Facebook received discounted rates and I could essentially do more with my current ad spend. I clearly stated my objectives were to increase conversions and have experts managing my social media campaigns to optimize conversions. They convinced me that this is what they do, and I agreed to hand over my entire $1500/month advertising budget to them. Once I got to speak with the advertising specialist that was assigned to my account, I learn that I am only able to run reach and traffic ads in one region at a time. I clearly stated my intention was to have someone manage ad campaigns that would optimize conversions to market my E-COMMERCE business. Why would an online business want to run regional ads with their previous advertising budget?!? I was lured into a 6 month contract with the promise of services this company does not provide. When I emailed and called the first week to cancel stating that the product I am receiving does NOT match the product I was sold, I was passed around from person to person with absolutely no one willing to do anything because I verbally agreed to a contact over the phone. Their only answer is to say that the ads are receiving clicks and I should be happy with that. I WAS NOT ASKING FOR PROFESSIONAL MARKETING HELP TO GET CLICKS. I specifically stated upfront that I was looking to create targeted conversion campaigns to increase sales. I have had ZERO sales and in one month my company has lost 80% of its revenue. Great ads are the lifeblood of successful e-commerce businesses, and Hibus deceptive sales practices are going to destroy my new small business that I have poured every spare second of my time for the past year. It was a big leap for me to outsource any part of the efforts to grow my business and I fear the decision to work with Hibu may be the nail it its coffin. I was getting a decent ROI when I was running my own ads and now I am losing the steady income I count on to pay my mortgage and care for my family. I am not only out $1500 a month for advertising that does not fit the needs of my business, but I am out the income I made prior to handing over my advertising budget to Hibu.

Did not work as promised, would not cancel, now threatening to sue me

I am a one man metal fabricator, I signed up with Hibu and they only got me about 3 leads and a lot of spam, within the first few weeks then crickets. The rep gave up and said "some businesses just dont work well with Hibu service". I attempted to cancel, they gave me the run around, i had to cancel my debit card. Now they're threatening to sue me. Good luck i just settled a divorce and owe real money to real people. Im a little guy just treading water, the abuse and fear tactics of this company us astounding. Wished id read more reviews before signing up.

Resolved: EXTREMELY not happy as a client for years with HIBU

I received a call this morning and not only did they refund me the full 2 months I was charged after I had cancelled in July, but I also received a very nice apology..

I do believe to build your business HIBU can help. Unfortunately, all of the things happening with this EXTENDED COVID economy, my business is in a category as to where I cannot afford the expense, along with I do not have the employees I once had to help any increase of business. I feel much better now with HIBU. They resolved our dispute within just 1 week. I actually feel much better with the customer care I received today.

Use them for our campaign

DontThe absolute worst company. Complete scam. They have a computer bot that gives you views on your website but never buys. Do totally fake inflation of daily views on your analytics on your website. There campaigns are ran by people from United Kingdom. That hate Americans. Felt it as they talked to you. Didnt care about how your companies image would be affected. Then when they contact you they use local numbers but there employees are from United Kingdom. Wasted 8,000

SCAM/FARUD Company

This Company is Legit A SCAM COMPANY they don't do anything to you I tried to reach them multiple times when i start the contract and they don;t answer they don't know anything about the business their communication is below zero they don;t care about you or your business they care about MONEY and that's why I had to call the bank and stop the payment and claim as a FRAUD and the irony is that they only start calling me when i stopped the payment and they sent me an email today that i have to pay them 700$ for literally not doing anything and if i don't they will file a lawsuit against me . please I want to file a class lawsuit against them please comment if you are in . please don't sign a contract with this company once you do you are trapped .

Stole $6,000 from us

Hibu bundled Internet services that we told the sales rep we did not want into our print listings contract. The phone book contract ended and Hibu continued billing us $129 a month for 6 years. We just discovered the fraud after an accounting audit. Hibu wont provide any documentation that we ever agreed to Internet services but acknowledges that theyve over billed us $2,100. To get them to refund what was billed absent any benefit to us, theyre leveraging us to close our claim to over $6,000 in fraudulent charges. I intent to file a claim with California attorney generals office and sue them in small claims court. This company is a scam and I intend to warn as many people as I possibly can online.

Hibu kept charging me after I cancelled my products

I had a small campaign with HIBU. It did absolutely nothing for my business in fact it was just like throwing out money. I canceled the campaign but they kept charging my credit card without my permission.

Really pissed for real

I got taken advantage of did not authorize them to launch wanted to cancel and they would not let me do so very pissed seeking legal representation I am very pissed 0 rating for this joke company
