Sold my house I need to cancel service

Sold my house contacted hawk security to cancel security system said it cannot be done on phone through sales representative or service representative had no other problem with turning off my water by phone and customer service as well as electricity by phone and customer service this is the only company that is making a customer jump through hoop hoops and place in writing through email tiger trash and everyone were helpful and canceling service this is the only company and for $25 a month is putting up a fight they can keep their service I no longer own the house

Cancel system

The tech had me contact ATT to provide a new IP address! 5 hours later no resolution and when I called the tech backhe said that it was not his problem! Then whose problem is it??? Cancel my service as of Monday 01/31/22

Unauthorized contract renewal

i recently attempted to cancel service with this company. I called and also put in writing as required. I asked for my contract. It was sent to me by my agent ( not customer service). They sent me an agreement from august of 2020. This was over 9 months after I started with them minimum. In august of 2020 I added 2 cameras to my EXISTING SERVICE . In fact.... the cameras were $100 a piece according to hawk and paid for directly by me. Not once at any point in time did this company inform me that adding cameras would restart an agreement with them. This was at best case unethical. On top of that...i have changed companies and hawk s telling me that that will continue billing me FULL amount of security and leave account open for a service i am no longer using with them. Im befuddled and will make sure to spread the word about their company

Dishonest Sales People and Obercharging on Equipment Purchas

Hawk Security and Alarm.com continued to Bill me for security equipment that had a fixed price and was to be paid off in 3 years. I have a contract for the service and one for the equipment with a breakout of charges. They continued to Bill me once the equipment was paid in full saying that I should have called in for a rate reduction. Now if I have a contract that states I am buying equipment at a fixed price why would I call for a rate reduction after the three years? My equipment is paid in full. Based on what I was told and the contracts separating the service and the equipment, this looks to me like fraud in the execution. It’s been a while since I studied and worked in a field that involved contract review, and heavy analysis of the UCC regarding the financing of goods, but once I do my due diligence I hope to be able to pin point some violations in my favor.

New to Alarm Systems/South Ft Worth Area

Chris came up to me as I was getting home. I had 3 other security system sales people before him. I was not planning on getting one but, he wasn't pushy and within 5 min of our conversation we were laughing. He was down to earth and was in blue jeans and a company shirt. The others were in dress clothes and just didn't seem like they were on a personal level, more like all business. I like that he was relaxed and was able to answer all my questions. I was able to contact im and he personally delivered a hat back to our home later. He was great. P.S. We were able to use all the stuff i the house from previous owners. One of the sensors were causing the alarm to go off. They made an appointment. After that the e-mailed me with details. in the e-mail was the name experience level and all the details including a picture of the tech who would be out to fix the issue. I really liked that. I knew the name and the face of the person who would be in my house. Nice touch Hawk!!

Great Customer Service

Whenever I have had any issue with my Hawk security system (a couple of problems with the doorbell and wi-fi connection), Gail Sarap has been outstanding! She provides excellent customer service and always responds quickly to bring about a resolution to the situation.

The worst company , customer service

Every time we have problems if they come it’s $45 charge + tax and sales people never told us and this system is lots of the problems and I want to get a lawyer and cancel my system

Happy customer

I give Hawk security 5 starts for service and warranty and monitoring ! They did everything they promised and did it better than anyone else ! I refer friends and family to them all the time !!

Total Rip Off

I wish i never got this sloppy crap of so called security system! Their blood hound Ekiko pestered his way and gave false promises! They told me 1300 to cancel for this raggedy equipment. When my information was falsafied!

Equipment monitoring has not worked for 6 mo

Do not use this security service. Any iPhone app with camera would work better. No service. No one to call to fix. Unfortunately they have 2 year contracts. As a fellow business owner, please do not do service with Hawk. I have paid $150/mo for nothing x 1.5 years...I could have bought an online program with all the bells and whistles for a lot less. Hawk / Interface are liars!

I was kicked out of the building I ran my business out of for 12 years because it was sold out from under me. I moved all of my belongings out and the last thing I did was removed the alarm system. I called the 800 number on the keypad to let them know that I was moving to a new location and I needed to transfer my system over to the new address. They sent a guy out who had me sign a contract, the set up the system and about a week or two later is when I find out that Hawk and Interface are no longer the same company?? Hawk never told me about this, they acted like they were the same company throughout the meeting I had with the rep, he never once told me they were not the same company anymore. Now I am being billed by Interface for nearly 1200 dollars for an early termination fee?? How can they do this to me? They never told me they were getting a divorce! They never changed the equipment to update the numbers to Interface! The numbers were Hawk and that was who I thought was my security company!!!!!! Now they are taking me to collections because I refuse to pay them for screwing me over like this! I will file a report with the FTC and the better business bureau.

Horrible POS of a company, what ever u do stay away from them, take advantage of customers with extremely high Camera and alarm prices, they stick it to you.......

Continue to renew contract after 3 year contract is over

Hawk security is a ripoff. My mother who is now 75 years old, signed a 3 years contract with Hawk Security after the 3 years they continue to bill her. I called the company I was informed that 30 days before the contract end you needed to send cancellation letter or they continue to renew for another year. Without out even a call. The only way to cancel now is to pay a buy out fee. ***, I wouldn't remember that after 3 years, and I'm not 75. Most companies bill you month to month after contract ends. I think this is shady practice to keep getting your money, with awful service.
