Resolved: Fruit of the Man, which we got for Christmas has not yet been delivered as of today

Customer service agent said just wait and if the fruit does not arrive within the next two weeks, I will be getting back with my company.

I have not been able to reach them by phone or email!

I ordered a gift of honey bells to be sent inJanuary and have heard nothing from them about delivery and even worse they are unreachable to make an inquiry as to whats going on! They used to be a respected company but that seems to have changed!!

Bad pears, bad service

Gift pears arrived rotten. Thought they were a reputable company and decided I would let them know. Customer service was awful,, having trouble understanding me, and then insisting on speaking directly to my husband whose name was on the gift. He wasn't home at the time. I decided I'd already spent more of my time than the value of the pears and didn't need to be put through the third degree. Hung up. VERY unimpressed.

Not satisfied

Ithought what i got was not worth the money, i purchased the basket 4 pears and 4 cheeses. Absolutley not worth the money, i spent 500.00$

Unprofessional customer service

I sent a sympathy gift basket with a personalized note. After I knew the basket was delivered and I didnt hear from the recipient after a few days to say she had received it, I checked in with her and asked if she got it. She said she did, but that there was no personalized note included so she didnt know who sent it. I emailex customer service, thinking they may offer a discount, but they sent what appeared to be automated responses and the only solution they offered was to email an apology to the recipient. (Whose email they didnt even have btw.) I said I was the one they should be apologizing. Who wants to send a gift basket and then have to ask if it was received? If it had been a boss or someone else, I wouldnt have asked and they would never had j own I sent something. It cost me $125. I told customer service how disappointed I was in their response and received another automated email in response. I will never order from Harry and David again. Theyve lost my business forever and I will share my experience with friends and family, so they will lose their business as well. For all the bad reviews on here, youd think theyd have a communications team monitoring them and responding accordingly. Clearly they are not.

Billed 3 times for same order

Used to be a good company. Not anymore. Terrible customer service. Placed on hold over and over again. Lost billing information. Then billed me three times for same order and sent people three boxes each when I'd ordered just one. When I tried to get them to refund charges, they placed me on hold repeatedly. Then when "passing me to a supervisor" the line went dead. Now, I have to get refund through credit card. I will never order from Harry & David again!

Ordered in plenty of time and they guaranteed Thanksgiving food would arrive by today, the day before Thanksgiving. I checked many times to see if I needed a backup plan for days. They didnt even ship it until the evening of the 22nd. Customer Service is obviously overseas. They dont see previous email chains so you have to explain yourself over and over again. Over $100 worth of food that will arrive Friday and spoil since I wont be home.

03/03/2022 Order placed to be delivered to Clare, Michigan

I ordered the oranges and grapefruit for my cousin (Tom Cradit) for his birthday on 03/10. After my order was placed, I received a notice that it might not be delivered until 03/31/2022!!!!! On the 3rd you took the funds from my credit card. I have received no further confirmation to include shipping information or even the fact that I placed an order Can you please help me by giving me some idea of when I can expect this gift to be shipped? Also, I would appreciate a confirmation that my order was placed, including a confirmation number. I use Harry & David to send gifts throughout the year to my cousin, but I am awfully disappointed in the issues surrounding this most recent order.

Poor quality pears

Just got order of pears..note inside says they are different this year due to weather. They are horrible! Skin tough, pears grainy, not juicy. Very little flavor. Tried to ripen for 5 days, still hard. Will never buy these again. pgs64@***.com

Heritage honey bell order- requesting replacement

Received my heritage Honeywell order on 1/26/22 and not satisfied. Most of the product is bruised and unable to be peeled easily. Not sweet. Tried to call customer service and it sounded like the service operator had her TV blaring and she hung up on me 3x. Im worried because I have 4 pending gift orders to be shipped in February.

Wasted my time

Harry & David have been a complete waste of my time. I wanted to share this to prevent them from wasting your time. I placed an order on Jan 8, 2022, for a Valentine's Day wreath and received an email confirming I would receive my order by Jan 20, 2022. On Jan 18, 2022, I received an email stating the wreath was no longer available and that I needed to call in order to choose a different item. Note: on Jan 18, I checked their website and the wreath was still available for sale Once they figured it out (10days later) why didn't they simply refund my money? instead of wasting my time and forcing me to call in order to "choose a different item"? Since they left me no choice but to call, I called them on Jan 18th and was told that the email I received was incorrect and that the item was not sold out and would arrive by Feb 2nd. I was confused by this and explained the email I had received, but the representative confirmed again that there were NO issues with inventory and that my order would arrive by Feb 2, 2022 On Jan 26, I received an email stating that they are "unable to process my order because they needed additional information" and that I needed to call or they would cancel my order. I called and was told my order was sold out and I needed to choose a different item Why waste my time like this? BTW, this item still shows that it is available on their website as of today Jan 26 The item is the Elegant Heart Wreath. I am sorry to say, but this company is incompetent and I will not be doing business with them again.

Promised replacements non delivered

I received as a gift a huge wood box which arrived smashed inside an undamaged cardboard shipping box. I write Harry & David as a long time customer suggesting they should rethink this product and stick to baskets which we always enjoyed. One food item was smashed. I got many form emails asking me repeatedly the same info as to my address and purchase info. And I politely repeated it was a GIFT. I then got one stating I should pick out something of same value and they would ship it to me. I said the wines were fine, but would appreciate replacing the smashed food. I got several emails telling me they glad they could resolve issue. NOTHING WAS SENT. NOTHING WAS RESOLVED. The Harry&David of the past is not living up to their reputation in my opinion any more but using these letters to state they handle situations that are totally ignored. I politely wrote back several times thru reply and did not receive any replies. How rude: Thank you for contacting us. We are very sorry that the Gift did not meet your expectations, and we would like to make this right. We ask that you please select a different Harry and David gift in the Amount price range that we may send as a replacement. Simply reply to this email with your selection and we will arrange the replacement. We appreciate feedback from our customers, and the fact that you took the time to write will help us in our continuing efforts to improve. Dishonest agent

12/10/21-contacted via 1800 flowers chat regarding an order that was 2 days late. i had an online discussion with your representative Roshen regarding Order for HJ that did not arrive on the designated date of 12/8/21. Roshen transferred me to Wolferman's chat which i spoke to another agent. Agent assured me the replacement item #50025W would be able to ship and arrive by 15th of December. That a followup email with order details would be sent. 12/14/21-Email never sent. Did a followup email inquiring about order for HJ to be delivered on 12/14/21. Email response from customer agent was never sent. 12/15/21-online chat with Christian Found out order was never replaced and shipped out. Christian assured me this time the order would be sent out for delivery 12/16/21. 12/15/21-sent email complaint to service@***.com Hello I would like to submit a formal complaint regarding multiple agents and the inefficiency for my orders placed for delivery on 12/8/21. One order for RS which was late but came a day late. The other is for HJ delivery date 12/8/21. I have multiple email and chat conversations regarding the original order. One conversation I had with an agent said I could do a replacement for any of the brands on Harry and David. For which I furnished several alternatives and the agent was not able to deliver. I then felt pressured to find an alternate because i was running into an appointment. So the item chosen for HJ is not what I expected. It was chosen only because the agent admitted she did not have the ability to process anything else. Then, come to find out the replacement item wasn't even ordered. I am very disappointed and very saddened by the way I was lied to. Then after chatting with Christian tonight he left me on the chat for more than 20mins. I asked him for his supervisors to email or call me and all I got was a number. I did not feel good after that chat conversation. Especially the way he handled the situation by ignoring me. As I type he is still unresponsive online chat. I chose Harry & David because of the convenience of the Celebrations Passport you offer. Additionally, I understand that shipping may be a challenge. However, I was trying to be understanding but when i did not receive confirmation emails for the replacement order I started to lose faith and became discouraged in your company. I don't normally send out email complaints. And because of the current situation (covid) and that shipping may be delayed i felt like I was more than understanding. However, I do not feel good about the way i was treated. I feel like I was given the run around. Thank you again and I appreciate you listening to my concern. Harry & David deliveries via FexEx

On 12/8 my package arrived from Hebron, Ohio to the facility to Martinsburg, WVA a trip of 317 miles. On 12/9 it was sent from Martinsburg , WVA to Clinton, Pa, a trip of 208 miles to a facility that was 100 miles from its destination. The package arrived in Clinton, Pa on 12/12. Where was it for 3 days ?!?! On 12/13 it was in North Jackson Ohio, 64 miles further from a reasonable destination. ON 12/15 it was shipped to Grove City , Ohio ( near Hebron by the way) making it another 169 mile trek. I contacted the Harry & David email customer service and got nothing but excuses. The 12/15 delivery date given to me was delayed again until 12/16. On 12/16 it was sent BACK to Clinton, Pa, another 168 mile trip. The delivery date was now changed to 12/17. My package has bee traveling around in a gigantic confusing circle for 11 DAYS. This is clearly not an efficient delivery system for your product and customers. In the future please use another delivery carrier. In discussions with the online customer service people could you please hire people that speak English CLEARLY?
