It is impossible to speak to a representative. Prompts automatically hung up on me 7 times after I kept repeating routing number, etc.

Before I placed my order on June 9, 2023, I spoke to a representative and explained that my previous order came with coils that did not hold the checks from coming loose. Instead of a book of checks, I had to deal with the checks one at a time. The representative told me to call back if this problem exists with the next book of checks that I ordered. They gave me credit for this problem. I received my June order and again I am dealing with checks that keeping coming loose from the coils. Since I cannot reach your customer service department I will be calling the Better Business Dept. to explain what is going on with this company.

Terrible customer service!

I placed an order with them on June 28th. Took my money right away, still have not received my order. And no one will call me back or speak to me. All they want is your account number... No one calls you back, you cannot speak to a human. They don't even know what I'm calling about. Super expensive checks.

Customer service

My bank no longer processed check orders. Must go through this service. Tried to use on line order form. Had problems. Called customer service. Probably a call center. I asked her to explain something. She hung up On me. Called again got processed. Checks request will be processed when all security questions clears. All accessories are extra $. Used to be free from my bank. Quantity reduced too. Will shop around next time! Plan to report experience to my bank

Incomplete order - not able to reach human to correct

Incomplete order - not able to reach human to correct.; tried several entry points and just a blank wall with HC auto attendant hanging up on me. Understand and do support auto service for the volume, but still needs a live human entry for inevitable errors -- Total customer service fail. !!

No customer service

No way to contact them. If your financial institution gets your checks from there, urge them to find a different supplier. I suppose the only alternative is to go outside your institution and buy your checks from an independent.

On phone w/ them now

My bank doesn't help you order checks. You have to be connected to Harland. They put me on hold for 16 minutes, and then randomly hung up on me. I called back and have now been on hold for 23 minutes. On my bank account, all address information is correct. However, the address has not been updated from my bank to Harland, and Harland doesn't offer an online method for updating address. I run my own business, so I'm literally losing money every minute I sit on hold. I share this so other business owners can look for other, better, check companies to work with in efforts to get your administrative information correct, not waste time/lose money, and to hopefully receive more timely service.F

Want to order check registers

Ordering check registers: The first number I called took all my info then hung up without any assistance. I was able to find another number to call AND talk to a real person not a machine!!! I got my order in and the representative was very courteous and helpful.

Why does Harland Clarke not have a customer service phone number where you can talk to someone about problems with your check order!!! Unbelievable! I’ll order from another company going forward.

Been trying for days to reach a live person to talk about my recent check order. Why does this company not have a number to help your customer. Terrible customer service!!

If I could give zero stars I would

This company Epicly fails at having Zero customer service to speak to. Call any of their 800 numbers and go through any of the prompts each and every time you will get a final automated response that says thank you for calling please shop us on our website "goodbye" 8 Times I've tried to talk to customer service about a reprint. Zero times I got through. Take your business elsewhere and if you are the Bank that hires these clowns to support your company. Look elsewhere!

Always get what I order

The only complaint is trying to reach a live person very hard to do. I hate all the prompts that you go through. You should be able to hit 0 to reach customer service representative.

Order checks

Cannot speak to a human. Impossible. Tried three different phone numbers. All the same automated customer service. Wouldnt recognize my account therefore it would hang up on me with no option to speak to a real representative.The exact same thing happened online. Its interesting that at the beginning of the call it says this call would be recorded for quality service. There was no service at all.

Regarding the quality of my order

There is no phone number given that you can get a real customer service person. I tried three different phone numbers and none worked.

Received Broken Ink Stamp

If I could give a Zero, I would! I trust Costco to use reputable and quality companies for their 3rd-party vendors. I bought an ink stamp. It came, with the plastic broken into 8 pieces, plus cracks in the other. Not wrapped inside at all; just mailed in a light bubble wrap envelope. There is no way to return/exchange an item online. You have to either call them M-F or email them and hope they read it. Terrible, terrible. I will never buy anything from a Costco vendor ever again.

Hacking the (automated phone) System: One star because ZERO is not an option

My firm placed an order over the phone for business checks almost three weeks ago, the status details of which did not show on the website. The automated phone system prompts you early in the call to enter your routing and account info. This notifies the system on whether you have a pending order. If you have a pending order, the system's options tree will always pigeonhole you towards two outcomes: 1. Instructs you to check/shop the website and disconnects, or 2. Gives you the minimal amount of information and disconnects. You are never provided an opportunity to speak to a human because they don't WANT you to speak to a human. This is a critical failure on the part of Harland Clarke and for this alone, I wish I had ordered through literally any other company. To navigate this system, enter "0" as your routing number and you will be presented with different options which will eventually connect you to a real person. When I did finally speak to a human, I was informed that my order was not entered properly (by the previous CSR,) would never be fulfilled, and needed to be cancelled and a replacement order placed. Bottom line: I should not have to manipulate Harland Clarke's faulty automated system to learn that Harland Clarke screwed up my order. Harland Clarke: Do better by your customers. Financial institutions: Contract literally ANY other company. (Seriously, read all the other reviews which are chiefly a well-deserved 1-star.) Consumers: SHOP ELSEWHERE!!
