Hours do not equate
This is the worst SERVICE EVER first you get charged almost $600.00 and the quality of service was so horrible I should get paid for cleaning my own house, never again and the lady that came said she only works 3 hours and I called customer service and they told her she had to work the entire 8 hours and then the rest of the time all she did was complain and look at the phone and stated she was going to die handy for paying her less then $200.00. I will never, ever recommend HANDY and never will I use it. This is catastrophic in my eyes because I could have used that money for something better or to pay a bill. I am going to plan something dont know yet but o will bad mouth handy because this is the second time something bad happened

I scheduled a pro to come for Tuesday and he called out so it was rescheduled for Friday @ 4:30 pm, no problem. Fast forward to Friday 4:30 pm I noticed I had a message saying he was running behind he would be arriving between 5-5:30 pm but he would let me know. Its almost 5pm he messages me saying hes still on a job and when hes done he still has a 45min drive and it would be later when he would get here and he doesnt know if that was okay with me. At this point Im over it so I call to cancel bc of no fault of my own. The customer service lady told me that bc it was my choice to cancel they would have to charge me a $50 cancellation fee after giving her push back she changes her words and says well its going to cost $50 to process the refund. Well safe to say after flipping tf out she goes on to say.. okay okay well since your so adamant on a full refund well give you the refund in full. Within 5 minutes i got an email telling me my full refund was processed. They were able to do it the whole time but wanted to charge me $50 for services I never received and then made it sound like it was my fault for canceling. Never again what a bunch of thieves!!!

They sent a small lady 4'11/118 out to assemble a heavy dinnig table set by herself, I ask was she gonna be able 2 do it bc its heavy.she replied yes. She finished in hr(I literally had just got out icu still with tunes walker)so I tip her $100.she left,hr later my care giver came sat me in chair it broke with me n it,I hurt myself. Chairs are permanent damage she didn't put all screws in any of em.company email me claim form mths again signed and did everything they ask,said my refund will be ELECTRONICALLY REFUND 30DAYS FROM DATE.ITS BEEN WAYY LONGER. STILL CANT RETURN SET, I HAVEN'T RECEIVED MY $$BACK. KEEP GETTING EMAILS SAYING escalating it .1st and last time using comp.looks like I'm having to contact my attorney. Don't trust this company they are not people of there word. Can't see how there in business. .

I am a pro as handy calls us, that has worked for the company for 5 years. And no way does handy hire any skilled workers. Majority of workers are either illegal aliens, school dropouts, or drug addicts. They do not compensate and they do not reimburse people. They say they do but they don't. They constantly charge those who work for them outrageous fees so they don't have to pay them for the jobs, along with suspending them for days on end and any jobs they have scheduled in those days they charge them fees for not showing up, because Handy has taken the jobs off their schedule. They control all aspects of the job including not allowing the worker and the customer to share phone numbers or contact each other unless we do it through the handy app only which goes through switching station so fake numbers get given. They constantly provide wrong job descriptions never a lot for enough time and usually only send one person when the job requires two or more. They have an attitude that the customer is always right and it's always the workers fault of anything happens so the customers have learned that they can schedule a job and then call handy afterwards and state that the job never got completed or they weren't satisfied or the person didn't show up next thing you know that person is getting punished for actually showing up and completing the job but handy has no way of offering the pro a way of proving it. They've been sued by San Francisco DA for employee mislabling and illegal business practices. Do not use this company ever!!!

I did not order house cleaner and they just showed up. .
I ordered Handy for a cleaning in Nov. 2022. I cancelled it too late and ended up having to pay for it. Since then theyve showed up every month without advance notice and I send them away. I spoke to customer service and I received a refund for a couple of months that I was charged for and the representative said that he cancelled the rest of whatever I was scheduled for. A cleaner just showed up at my house unannounced this morning, 5/15/23. Please do not charge me for this and remove my information from your schedule!! This is getting ridiculous!!
