Complaint

I was told that I cancelled my own ticket but I did not cancel my own ticket and I was told that they sent me a voucher for $142.51 but I have not received no voucher in my email and I have not received any money at all

On my last trip I came into Indianapolis bus station at 7:04pm. We were told at 8:15pm we were delayed 4 hours due to lack of a driver. At 12 midnight we were told that our bus had not arrived yet. At

3am were told again. No driver. Then I reissued my ticket at 3:43am at 3:50am the ticket was canceled. I reissued my ticket for 4:05pm. LO AND BEHOLD we boarded the same Bolt bus that had been sitting out front the whole time. During this time NO COURTESY, NO SORRY, NO COMPASSION, whatsoever. Luckily, I carry food with me. Or, I would have been Extremely hungry like a lot of other passengers. However, I am TIRED of the rudeness of your station personnel. The LIES. The lack of accommodation for the people who pay their hard earned money, for your service? This is bordering on malicious intent on your part, to allow this type of treatment to continue. If you decide to call me (614)633-****. I AM PISSED and I spend a lot of money with you. It's about time you stop acting as a third rate carrier and rework your company.

No bus arriving

My trip was from Detroit Michigan to Louisville Kentucky my bus time was supposed to leave at 10:30 a.m. and arrived at Louisville Kentucky bus terminal at 6:45 the bus never left Detroit at the present time it is 1:31 there's no bus here the people here don't know anything they can't ask you anything they can't answer anything and all they can tell you is the bus is coming that's very unprofessional especially since I pay for a direct route to Louisville without a transfer now they may have a bus coming in at 2:15 but that requires a transfer which I do not have but I have no intentions on paying for another transfer I tried talking to the people up front everybody doesn't know anything I call customer service they're not answering they're sending me to a email and I put in my number somebody call me back I have no respond yet I am so very disappointed and Greyhound of all my 40 Years of catching this bus I have never had to encounter something like this leave them from Detroit I am very dissatisfied and I do want to talk to corporate about this and if I have to I will take it as far as I can because this is not right this is not good customer service and this is not business etiquette

Lost luggagej

Took bus from VA to go to georgia...got left in NC Winston-Salem and now I'm stuck here without my belongings and no one seems to know how to help.ive been calling every number every other greyhound employee hives me and still come up with nothing

Terrible Customer Service Experience

Im reaching out in regards to a terrible experience with Greyhound services. I do not Recommend anyone use the bus as they dont value customer service and satisfaction. The service was so horrendous I couldnt complete my trip coming from Angleton Tx to New Orleans Louisiana. Im 7 months pregnant and the bus has no heat at all upon arrival to the Houston Bus Station the driver also had us outside for 45 minutes stop. I arrived around 10:00 at the Houston Bus Station where I had to wait in more heat inside of the station awaiting 12:40AM for the bus to arrive for my trip to New Orleans. The customer service was awful and the security guard smelt of alcohol on his breath and clothing as he stood over asking to look at my ticket. This is my first experience with Greyhound when going to the counter to ask for assistance the inebriated man at the counter service wasnt better he replied read your ticket if you read your ticket sarcastically when I was asking which spot do I sit in and which gate for the onboard procedure. No one was helpful not even their call line were they have no escalation process and instead of communicating with customers they make them go online to talk to the internet for help instead of having workers do what they are hired to do on phones provide customer care and support. l do not feel its safe and due to my pregnancy and the heat exacerbation that I had to experience its unacceptable. I usually take Megabus by far better than their establishment. Greyhound hire any person who can talk to work for their company. The conditions of that bus and the station is deplorable and for what we pay for tickets I expect better service and I didnt get that this was for a family funeral!! You all should be ashamed.

Unprofessional rep misinformation and uncleanness

My original departure time was for 8:50 from 26 e main st. In Columbus Ohio. There was no bus there and customer service rep sent me there to multiple locations that didn't exist any more. I was on the phone with her for a good half an hour only to arrive where the ticket and her said to arrive and her to tell me I missed the bus that never came. I spoke to the Cota station rep and he said the new pick up was on Wilson on the west side of town. I had a situation getting a new ticket but ended up getting one for 10:30 after they tried to make me pay. When we finally boarded the bus at a closed down gas station the smell was unbearable. It smelled as if everyone used the facilities everywhere on the bus except the restroom. This was very poor customer service and very uncomfortable I had to tie shirts around my face to mask the smell and I still smelled it. I believe I deserve some sort of reimbursement.

Bus driver late for my next bus

When I was buying my ticket I was told if I missed my first bus i would not get a different ticket and and things and then we breakdown in Atlanta and we understand that things happen but we couldn't get a ticket until the next day so we had to get a motel room and a taxi thier and back then that bus was over 2 hours late and made us miss our bus again and couldn't get another bus to the next day also now that is not expectable we have no money left I had to beg people just so my pregnant diabetic wife could eat also we paid extra for assign seats on all of our bus trips and every time we had to sit somewhere else there are other people sitting where our seats I am very disappointed and unhappy with this is the worst trip I've ever had with Greyhound and I have had at least seven different trips which were awesome but this one was wow I will never use you guys again if you do not make this right

Medical equipment and medicine for seizures left on the bus heading to miami

June 10th...after all I've been through with the ride from Allentown Pa ...to West Palm Beach...I still haven't got any contacts or texts or emails about my seizure medication or my medical equipment that was on the bus while i went through a seizure as he left...I am in process of explaining to my Veterans lawyer the disrespect and the lack of help as I had to carry 4 baggage

Horrible customer service an app error cost me $225 and they won’t refund

Yes, this is the first time Ive used yall and Ill purchase a ticket through yawls app on May 22 for pick up at 2:35 in Wytheville Virginia in at 2:40 to 50. Another greyhound bus showed up but it was not mine. I spoke to the driver of that booth and he contacted yall and they cannot locate my boss and did not know what was going on so I had to buy another ticket for 935 that morning. I spent $500 at night the first ticket was 225 and the second ticket was 245 and Im not getting anything from customer service. They are trying to say its my fault I miss my bus but the bus never showed, I will attach bus confirmation number below. Please help.

Not great service

Had a delay in a cancellation on the day that we were supposed to get to our destination the destination was going towards Lewiston Maine from Harrisburg pa. There was a complete cancellation on the day when we were trying to get back from New York because of the transfers and the customer service wasnt so great in New York bus station. Greyhound really need to update theyre staff and equipment because it was a real terrible experience for me and my mother. We did pay separately.

MY bus is going 2B late N2 Charlotte, NC

Where should we start: The bus driver is an arrogant slob. She talks down 2 each & every customer like we R children. She lags @ stopa & feeds her face & drinks galore. The bathroom is atrocious. The pit stop R the PITS. THESE bus terminals, if there even is a tourmal leave everything 2B desired. And, ur "Greyhound" customer service # throws U N2 a circle every time U call it. Myself & others resorted 2 using PISSED OFF CONSUMER. U cannot reschedule @ a terminal INSIDE bc all of these hubs R manned by 3rd party ppl whose hands R tied. FYI- I have been riding Greyhound since 1987; I will NEVER use Flic, or "GREYDOWN" every again N my lifetime! Sincerely, Ur #1 Pissed Off Consumer.

Incompetence in your customer service department

They said they don’t see a delay in their end so I cannot get my money. After sending proof of the delay no one has contacted me since.

They emailed and said they’re unhappy they can’t help me but all they will do is give a voucher that I have to use in 3 months.

My trip was cancelled due to my bus being over 5 hours late. Its been two weeks of me trying to get my money back because I already missed my grandmothers funeral so I cant make it now. Greyhound will not give me my money back they just keep telling me to email and wait 4 days for an answer while when they do answer they tell you exactly what they said over the phone that they can give you a voucher. DO NOT ride with greyhound theyre unreliable and have no real people working in any locations everything is over the phone and no one knows anything. Ride at your own risk.

Atrocious experience

Im emailing in regards to my last trip, 306877****. It was a a 36 hour disaster of a trip from Sarasota, Florida to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. I would go as far as to say it was the worst traveling experience I have ever had, whether flying or driving. Everything from a Bus that left a Station 10 minutes early and had to come back to pick three of us up to absolutely disgusting buses that had stuff spilled all over the floor of half the bus. Other things like out of order coach, bathrooms and staff that could not answer any questions of ours and had put us on the wrong bus multiple times. I would even say that the Richmond, Virginia bus station was the most disgusting station I have ever seen in my life. Things like cockroaches all over the bathroom and *** on the floor, only two of the five stalls were actually in order, and even those had portions of the wall knocked out and were almost unusable. The coach that I was on on the way to Richmond didnt have a functioning bathroom so many of us were forced to use , the absolutely disgusting bathroom in Virginia. I have already reached out to the Better Business Bureau regarding this and I am requesting a full refund for my trip. If greyhound cannot fix this problem I, nor any of my family, will be using this as a form of transportation ever again. in the time I have been trying to get customer service to rectify this, I have been met with nothing but rude employees who make it very obvious that they dont care about the customer nor their experience. My next email will be to your corporate office and forwarded to a VP. I would appreciate a phone call in return regarding this experience.

Left my service pup and I stranded....

Ok. So on 1/8/2023, I arrived in Roseville Station around 9:50am. My bus was supposed to leave at 10:10am I called 11 timesthrough an 8 hour period with the bus never arriving and each customer service rep would give me the run around and some said the bus is pulling in. But I literally called 11 times and spoke to three supervisors which one hung up on me because i said the word heck. I had accomodations paid for in my destination and not one customer service rep would tell me if it was canceled. My phone died on the 3rd supervisor. They left my service dog and Myself out there in a glass outdoor box without food and water, very cold and I basically paid to sit at a bus stop ALL DAY. When My phone died was a little past 6pm. I had to had to walk by foot(with a fractured foot that Im getting surgery on the 16th of this month) to find a place that would let me use a charger which I found the 7-eleven and pleaded with the guy to let me use the charger so i could transfer money out of my savings since the atm wouldnt let me do it automatically. The guy let me get it to 5% which I was able transfer and then walked to a hotel after buying a charger. The hotel a couple blocks from 7-11 said vacancy but it had broken lights for the no. Well phone died, my dog and I freezing go back charge up my phone and tried to get lyft over to Heritage which was the cheepest I could afford so I could get my pup and I warm, some food and water, most important the bathrom. My foot was killing me. First lyft ride sees my pup and leaves, then phone died again. He had said no animals and didnt slow down and flipped me off for what ever reason. So Charge my phone another time and turned it on the next ride was there already, got a ride to the hotel. And more and more happened. Hotel didnt take cash so I had to get another lyft to put money back on the card that I took out at 7-11. Get the ride and dropped me back at Heritage in. I have receipts for Two accomodations last night which I should of just had the one at gold dust which was expensive. For extra expenses that was not intendid to be spent in total aside from the suffering for my pup and I absolutely no food, water, bathroom, warmth. The total of expenses I had to spend in total was $458.00. The customer service wouldnt and refused to actually help. And I had to pull teeth to get to speak to a supervisor and out of the time total spent arguing back and forth, with no solution to help my service animal and I get the facts, or out of the cold and the only thing they would say is you want to reschedule and no, That wouldnt help. I had prior engagements I had already paid for. I dont have income. That was money from being forced to sell my car for clunkers the day prior. Workers comp cut me off cause they found a loop hole so that they will pay me again after the settlement I have with them is finished. So because of all this and in order to get out of the rain before it really started pounding. I had to spend the money I needed in order to go to Fresno today for an important start to a trial and came so close to missing it. After being stranded out in Roseville, Literally all day, i had to miss my accomodation in Nevada, i had to pay for several different Lyst ride I shouldnt of had to pay, and to get a new accomodation in Roseville, or else you people would have just let my pup and I be popsicles, well for service pup would make her a pupsicle. People are dropped off all the time and I was brought down from Colfax. I would appreciate if you would show true concern about the safety and well being of the passengers make right please for a refund and to compensate for my losses because of your guys neglect. And I do have the reciepts to all of it. The absolute total was $548 and I just hope you could please do this because morally its right and cause you guys made my day *** with all the calls and BS that your customer service and how they treat your customers is really upsetting. I am unemployed thanks to injury on the job. I havent been paid in 8 months. And since i was stranded, I had to use the money that was for court to get my pup and i out of the cold. $30 is what I had by morning and wasnt able to get in the room barely at 9:45. I had no way to pay to get to court for my trial and broke down. My parents ended up giving me help and that hurt cause I was ready till you guys messed my day up and cause a bit of emotional scarring from the fact I was going to be arrested if I didnt show. Thats no joke either. When possibly facing something like I am, will wreck a person mentally. Please get back to me and I hope you have a good day.
