Bad haircut

Stylist McKay left a huge bald spot in my childs hair after being preoccupied with a baby that was getting his hair cut a few chairs down. This location in Estrella is refusing to fix their mistake! Not old do they give bad haircuts they offer terrible customer service!

The hairdresser made a few inappropriate comments

You should be have a enjoyable hair experience. Not have them tell "you should think if getting a Bob cut" or you have a " cow lick so I used that as a basis to cut your hair" or you" bangs will shrink abattoir cut them too short".. Needs more friendliness and less opinionated comments. This location was Airport common!!

Mistreatment, discrimination

Around 6pm on June 1st, checked online as I usually do in the past few years, walked in the store to get my seven years old daughter hair cut, I told the employee to trim her hair, second later she came back with a bad attitude and voice raised and told me that she can't be setting there doing nothing you need to tell me how you want her hair done then she starts shouting at me, so I asked. Y child to get up and left right away

Been mistreated

Went into great clips office at highland plaza ,West Chester Ohio, and been discriminated , in front of my 7 years old daughter, and she started screaming

I checked in on line and was first in queue for a haircut

The young woman chose person second on the list. When I drove in the parking lot, my app told me I had a one minute wait. After the other customer left, I asked her why his hair was cut before me. She said something like, I checked him in, and she said I asked your name , which she did. She had no reason to pick him over me, nor could she justify it- she had attitude, why have a mobile check-in if you ignore it? I also had a $10.99 hair cut coupon which they wouldnt honor. Bait and switch and *** customer service

Incorrectly charged.

I took my 3 kids to get their hair cut at Great clips. It was my understanding that Great Clips does not charge for a child's haircut if the haircut is for donation. My daughter had over 10 inches cut to be donated. I did not realize until later that they had charged me for her haircut.

Fraudulent

On Da recent visit to one of your locations on 1/9/2023, of which I have a receipt for, I was informed repeatedly by an agent in the store in person that no one can receive a haircut from Great Clips without providing all of the following information: First name, Last name, Phone number, Home address. If this is true, it is absurd and I will never again return to your location, but will always ensure that reviews about this continue to be spread far and wide. If this is not true, then it is a misrepresentation by an agent of the Company, and thus constitutes Fraud in court. Another agent at your Customer service line: 800-473-**** informed me that the original agent gave "misinformation". In addition, by providing this very personal identifying and sensitive information of men and women, etc. that enter the location, of which I was a witness of several, it exposes them to great risk of harassment, fraud, identity theft, stalking, etc. by others that can easily overhear the info. Who thought of this system? This is going on many times per day on a daily basis.

Complaint independence mo. Salon

I walked into great clips on Nolan Road in Independence around 1 oclock 130 Friday. My hair was down to my collar and the woman Sherri, who proceeded to spray my hair down who is telling me about she had 30 years experience as a hair cutter and then she start talking about the holidays and her family and how they were problems, next thing, I know the woman is cutting my hair turns my head or my whole body away from the mirror and she proceeds to cut my hair and she reads a little note the great clips has for every haircut in person. Its a note on what size clips to use when youre cutting hair she said five and seven right I said yeah and I said theres a brand between five and seven with hand scissors, and she says OK I know next thing I know shes pushing the clippers so hard that the guard is catching my scalp. She was very rough so I stopped her and turned towards the mirror and she had cut almost all my hair off then telling me she was sorry she never did this before and she didnt understand the note that she had to cut my hair. Then she proceeded to tell me that she just started with great clips and had only been there a couple of months and did not understand the note and I have been going to great clips for about 15 to 20 years so I told her to stop what she was doing and I asked for the manager I believe her name was Cindy and oh she is the assistant manager. She looked at my hair and I said look she has cut all my hair off and theres patches all over my head and Cindy said yes let me see what I can do about it then the assistant manager Cindy said its too short there is too much I can do about it but she said she would give me two free haircuts. I just wanted to leave because I was so mad that she cut all my hair off and I have before and after pictures, I would appreciate if someone to contact me ASAP

Unsatisfactory service

For over nearly 2 years I am having haircut at your location at Josey Oaks Crossing, Carrolton, Tx. I had haircut done consistently by Jung who rendered excellent professional service. Unfortunately Jung is no longer working with you. Therefore on 11/17/22 I had to get service from Stylist Vivian. Regretfully I was not satisfied the way she cut the hair. If you need further details, I am willing to speak to you over the phone.

They called and asked me to go back and let someone else straighten my hair cut. Also refined the money I spent on fist cut.

Unfair to old customers. I do not want to register online. I waited while people kept just walking in and going before me. I was told to schedule online and only online.

I was next in line while waiting in the location. Some one walked in and they took him instead telling me that they only take online people only. I was told to ;earn to use the internet. that is how things are done these days implying that I am old. Addison Il. store on lake.

Never heard from independent owned great clips

Received a terrible hair cut. Got a response from customer service was told I would would receive a response from independent owner.Never received a response. Thats ok word of mouth is powerful.

Terrible hair cutWent to Great Clips

Went to great clips in new Braunfels at 337 and46 . Had a hair cut from Susie.The left side above my ear is gouged.The right side looks chopped.I asked her not to cut the top to short as I have a large scar on the top of my head.Does not look like she cut it at all. Have used this location a long time ,if I go back I will not let Susie cut my hair.

Horrible & incompetent stylist - rude.

Not listening to the custo.er, than proceeding to chop, not cut hair. - saying "oops" . No apology. Still after 10 days of growth, choppy, too short to use curling iron, comments on how bad it looks - I think in 2 more weeks, I can find a stylist to fix it. Never recommend Great Clips again!!!

Got my hair cut at great clips. I know it's only hair, but my hair looks like crap. The service was great, she was nice, but wow after I washed my hair, and now it's terrible. Tomorrow I'm going to try to get my money back, wish me luck. Or try to get my hair fixed. Not sure if it can be fixed, either way I'm going to have a nice fit so that they have to do something.

Haircut Gone Wrong!

Dear GreatClips Owners: I am submitting this letter to you on behalf of my visit yesterday 04/27/2022. At approximately 2:45 pm I arrived at the location after checking in online. Upon arrival I seen my name on the monitor. The lady that approached had trouble with the sign inkept asking me my name, did I check in online and if I had a new phone number. The other woman Lisa came and took my phone number and checked me in. My regular stylist Ms. Debra was not in. I have been coming to this location for over 3 years and Ms. Debra cuts my hair and have NEVER had an issue or complaint. Even used another stylist in her absence and was just as satisfied with her work! TODAY however was a totally different situation. I didnt want to cut any of the top (WILL WAIT FOR MS. Debra). Just needed lining and trim down the back. Ms. Lisa chopped the sides to far up and gave me a DRAMATIC V LINING AS SHE STATED! I asked for a V shaped lining in my understanding the bottom WOULD NOT BE ROUNDED BUT V SHAPED! WELL, HER DRAMATIC V WAS JUST THAT; STARTING AT THE TOP OF MY EAR SLANTING OVER TO THE CENTER OF MY HEAD IS COMPLETELY CLEANBALD! THIS ONLY ON THE LEFT SIDE. SHE THEN INFORMED ME THAT SHE WAS NOT SURE ABOUT HOW TO CUT THE OTHER SODE BECAUSE OF A SPOT. NOT SPOT THAT IS THE CURL PATTERN TO MY HAIR! SO HAD SHE CUT THE RIGHT SIDE LIKE THE LEFT SIDE I WOULD BE BALD WITH A V IN MY HEAD AND BALDED ALL AROUND! Not at all what I would wear or asked for. The male stylist looked and got out. The other woman sat in disbelief and even agreeing with me that it was messed up and suggested that Lisa call Ms. Debra. She went to the back and retrieved the numbers from THE WALL. She attempted to reach Ms. Debra. We discussed her experience and what she thought I wanted. She was unsure of what to do next. I then asked if there was someone I could speak with since Ms. Debra didnt answer, and the other lady stated to call Roslyn. Roslyn was called with the first call being unanswered. Rosalyn was very blunt in her response to the situation. Even told Lisa not to try to fix it because she already doesnt like it. The told her that there is nothing she can do if the hair is gone, and I will have to wait until it grows back. After going back and forth with trying to figure how things I was told that I could go to another location and that Pam can fix it. Not being considerate of me, my time or my hair. I stopped in to get a cut before picking up groceries and having to pick a kid up from then then a 5:30pm CVS minute clinic appointment that was MISSEED!! I was almost in tears at her tone and dictating to Lisa what to tell me even told me that she did her best! How could you be so quick to place judgement and know her best work when she was not present and at that time had not seen the photos that were sent to her phone. Lisa was very apologetic and was being guided by a rude individual who was not present and was telling me what I should and could do with no regard for me. Never stated she would come to address anything just telling what to do. I had to ask for the photos to be sent to her so that she could see them. I walked out feeling and looking like crap. Sat in my car and returned to ask for corporate information and Rosalyn was still on SPEAKER PHONE talk crap, and I addressed it. She stated that the police would be escorting me out of a place that shaved one side of my head and Im not supposed to feel a way! She told me I was nasty from the start. Not sure what her start was; she was notified 15 minutes after the damage was done. When asked Management information I was told by her that she was the GM! I am not satisfied with the look; the way things were handled and the threats from a dictator no present because of her position. I have colored hair and with her shaving me bald I had to go fix that which means my color is messed up. The hair colored not be the same as the new hair that was shaved. WHICH MEANS AT SOME POINT I WILL HAVE TO SHAVE IT ALL TO LET IT GROW BACK FOR EVEN COLORING! An opinion was landed before she ROSALYN even saw the damage and I was being told what to do after not liking having a lining start behind my ear and slant over to the middle of my head! And WAS SUPPOSED TO BE OK AND NOT BE UPSET??? REVIEW YOUR CAMERA/SECURITY COVERAGEI became upset after being talked AT like I was a kid in trouble. Your hair can be messed up, you get talked to and treated like crap and nothing can be done!
