Brother became incapacitated and could not use

My brother had a stroke and is incapacitated. When I finally got access to his checking account, I noticed that he had a monthly subscription to GoGo Grandparents. I called to cancel, and had to go through a lot of hoops, including sending them my Power of Attorney. Thats ok, but when I asked for a refund for the 2 months he didnt use the service, I got a song and dance about no refunds after the first 30 days. Youd think a place like this would be more sympathetic, given that it caters to the elder population. Good riddance.

I want my $245.00 refund

After paying a one year membership I tried to schedule an rx delivery. I did not like the options offered. I nave never used their service and I want my money refunded. In my opinion this company is a senior scammer. They should be investigated and shut down!Buyer beware

Ride scheduled yesterday never showed up today

I signed up yesterday and requested a ride for my mother for a doctor visit today-I live in another town. I paid the monthly fee for the service. Pickup time came and went-no call and no car. My mom was patiently waiting when I called to see how the visit went-it didnt even occur to me they would just blow her off completely and I assumed she was at the doctors office needing a ride home. I called gogo and they told me that no car picked up the ride, and I shouldve asked for the ride to be monitored or they dont check to see if a driver ever picks up the request. What? Why do I need them then? Bad communication at best and a scam at worst.

The driver abandoned my 80 ye old mom at Krogers!

Cinthia African American woman in Clarksville, Tn (drives a black BMW) abandoned my 80 year old mom at Krogers. Mom only had to get one thing, but had to wait in line. Cynthia took off and left poor mom m there! She had to pay some strange man $20 to bring her home!!! Shame on you, Cynthia!

I have been a member of Gogo for 6 month . In that time I have called for a lift at least40 times and have only been able to get a lift 2 times

I have called for a lift at least 40 times not counting call back to check on my ride . Can.t ever get to talk to anyone my request for ride pickup have been ignored . No one ever called me back . In my opinion your company is running a scam operation , taking advantage or seniors . I am contacting the transportation department to make a complaint . You charged my credit card it car for the last 6 months and I could only get a ride 2 times . You are getting rich with faulty advertising . I want my 6 months of Charles . I am very disapointed in your lack of poor performance . I expect a call back as soon as possible . Your satisfaction rating is less than 10 percent . Sounds like a slam dunk for a class action suit . Thomas W Bjschke

Disingenuous

Was told surge charge might be ten dollars more than quote, it was double! Fixed income grandparents beware. Not only that, pickup was 20 minutes late. Someone needs to rework quoting and telephone information. Not only that, you have to pay 35.00 a month just to use this um... service? Not good.

Refund

I was suppose to be charged monthly (8.75). Your company charged me the yearly amount (105.00). canceled the account. I need my refund I have not used the service. I need my refund today. I was transfered twice and I'm waiting for the third person to call me so that I may obtain my refund. This makes no sense, just issue me my refund. You people are scammers.

Refused to refund 245.88, never used it and cancelled within 30 days.

I feel it would be fair for them to charge me for one month and refund 11 months. They said no refunds. They prey on senior citizens, Im glad some are pleased with the service, but there are more complaints then glory.

What a scam! $34 for 1.7 mile ride

I recently signed up for gogograndparent because I need a transportation to and from doctors offices. Last week I took a 1.7 mile ride to the lab and was charged $34! I appealed this and was told that the amount was based on surge pricing. I had looked up the cost on the regular rideshare app before I left the house and it was $11 so I wound up paying three times the amount because of alleged surge pricing. I requested that my account be canceled and that I receive a credit to my credit card. I was told that they would only issue a credit for groceries or pharmacy pick up. I guess my only recourse is to file a complaint with Better Business Bureau and with my credit card company. My advice is to book your ride share directly and make sure you stay away from this company. They claim the service is supposed to benefit seniors, but it seems to me that they take advantage and charge more.

I am an Uber driver

First of all, I take my job extremely serious. I do not take phone calls while driving. GoGoGrandparent felt the need to call me three (3) times to tell me about my next ride. When I picked up the rider she told me where we were going and that I needed to wait for her then take her back home. NO! That is NOT how the app works. GGG told her to just tell me what she needed me to do. If you people don't know how to use the app you should not be ordering rides for other people. Get a clue! Uber drivers are not charity workers. We are not chauffeurs. We have families to feed and our time is valuable. Do us all a favor and find some other way to fleece seniors of their money.

Deceptive annual billing scheme

GoGo Grandparent is a service that you can subscribe to for yourself or your parent, so that seniors canorder a Lyft ride by calling an operator rather than using an app. I intended to sign my mom up for a monthly subscription so that we could see how it worked for her. And I signed her up for the top tier of service. But Gogo processed it as annual membership, and changed me $4509.89. No one would deliberately pay that kind of money for a ride service they've never tried before. And I certainly didn't. I didn't realize they had charged me the $4509.89 until my mom went to use the service a couple weeks later, and called me to say she didn't have any ride credits. I got into our account to check on the 8 ride credits that were included in the monthly fee. In looking for them, I saw the charge deep within my online gogo profile. The confirmation email they sent me when I signed up didn't have the charge on it. And the way the website appears, the monthly cost is in really large bold print above the much smaller annual cost, which is not bolded. I contacted them and after herculean efforts on my part, they agreed to a refund. But they wanted me to drop the chargeback dispute, which I was unwilling to do given my significant concerns about thier buisness practices. A supervisor called me and said that wouldn't be an issue, but now they are disputing the chargeback.

Cancelled pre scheduled pickup On aprox Nov 28th 2022 I scheduled a 1:30 am pickup from my hotel in Redding calif.

I orderd my ride on Nov 27th 2022 at 8pm for pickup at Nov 28th at 1:30am. While I was sleeping in my hotel the ride pickup was cancelled. I had 30 minutes to walk 3 miles in the pouring rain with all the homeless people stalking around to catch a train at the redding train station at 2am. I had 4 conecting trains and buses in order to get back to my home in Orange county calif. I'm 100 % 72 year old dissabled Veteran and I was carring all my luggage down the alleys and streets in pouring down rain amongst alot of homeless people wandering the streets. This was very dangerous and stressful to say the least. I was warned by the Redding airport police that Redding downtown area was very dangerous with homeless and criminal element to be avoided. This is why I put my health and safety in Go go grandparents hands and depended on their service. This was a very scary and dangerous result from the cancelation of my scheduled ride, shame on Go go grandparents service for treating a senior so maliciously. Especially since you purport to be a special needs service for seniors.
