Resolved: BAD CONSUMER PRACTICES

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with product or service ordered.

I ordered a cylinder lock for my truck from them because their website said that it came with the tumblers necessary to code this lock to my existing key. The package came without these components and missing other parts. After speaking with their customer service department they took a week to tell me that II would need to send the parts back and they would not be able to send just the missing parts. In order to speed things up, because I took this part internationally, and I am on a time crunch I decided to reorder the parts and just send back the others for a return. BUT the second set also came missing the tumblers. When I reached out to customer service again they told me that I had all the parts I needed because i have the parts from the photo on their website. BUT that photo doesn't show the TUMBLERS needed to code the lock even though their website clearly says that they are included. The refused to help me any further. They were not able to tell me how I could even purchase the tumblers I needed, they were rude, unhelpful, and misinformed about the products they sell on their own website. When I reached out to the General Manager via email because that was the only form of contact available he did not even respond.

Sent me wrong item and would not acknowledge mistake. Just want a refund.

Purchased 3rd row floor liner for my Tahoe. The part I received was the 2nd row floor liner, which I already had as it came with the car. Contacted them to return because I received the wrong part. The RMA guy marked it down part no longer needed and was told I had to pay for return shipping and 20% restocking fee. Was told to send pictures, which I did. The box it came with was mislabeled as it had a cutout of another cardboard box taped on it with the correct part number I ordered which corresponded to the 3rd row floor liner. Clearly an error on their part. Mistakes happen. I get it. Ive spoken to Diana and Melissa and another guy who said the issue is they are waiting to hear from the dealer (dont know who this is) who sent me the part. Been almost 2 weeks and I have been told it would be resolved by the end of the day each time Ive called and I have received nothing. Not one person has even offered to send me the correct part I ordered. I just want a refund at this point and for them to own their mistake. Ive sent plenty of pictures to show them this is just an error on their part. It shouldnt be this difficult. Apparently they dont care."

DO NOT BUY FROM GMPARTSGIANT

THEY WILL NOT REFUND YOUR FULL AMOUNT EVEN WHEN IT'S THEIR FAULT. LOST $672 IN FEES. CUSTOMERS SERVICE IS BAD THEY DO NOT SHARE COMPANY INFORMATION CANNOT ESCALATE THE PROLEM.PAID $ 2500 FOR A PART GOT REFUNDED $1850 CHARGING $460 FOR RESTOCKING FEE THE OTHER $210 NO IDEA WHAT THAT CHARGE IS FOR. SUPER UPSET!!!

Cancel an order that hasn't shipped

Customer service lady was very nice and helpful and they canceled the order and sent a confirmation text in about an hour. The reason I canceled was because of the bad reviews and I got scared but wondering if I should have let it ship and probably had no problem. Its an instrument cluster on a 05 Colorado that has been discontinued but they had an 06 cluster and a good price. I think a lot of bad reviews were during the pandemic but dont know.

Ordered a part. Showed in stock on website. Then get an email that my order was cancelled because part is discontinued. Welllll, the WTF is it still in the website???

Canceled order

they asked me to verify my billing zipcode then sent me a confirmation that it was verified. they simultaneously canceled my order so i had to call customer service. they said they needed a 3-way call with my banking institution so they had to cancel. they never asked for a 3way call before the cancelation. they said i need a paypal account to order parts to new hampshire. huge waste of time ordering and verifying and calling now i need to setup a paypal then go back to the website and order again? what do they think i have all the free time in the world?don

Sent wrong part. Now they want a restock fee and for me to pay shipping back

Part I received was incorrect from them. They want to charge a 20% restock fee and charge me to ship it back. Their system shows one part, but then they send a total different part and wont exchange their mistake.

Can't ship me a good part

My car has been out of commission for over a month because they have shipped two drive shafts that arrived broken. The first was packaged terribly and got completely destroyed during shipping. The second was packaged better but was damaged as well. They refuse to help me beyond the normal RMA process. If a decent company had caused this many problems, they would actually try to help fix it.

Horrible customer service

I ordered a set of floor mats for my 2019 XT5 Cadillac. I received notice that they were substituting with a different part. When I checked the part number of the product that they were trying to send me, their very own website indicated that the subs would not fit my car. I contacted the online chat and was told that for any clarification I would have to email their parts techs and wait two days for a reply. By then the wrong part would have been mailed to me. In other words, getting information about a part is non-existent with this company. They will indicate that they are sending you a part that does not fit your vehicle, then when you want clarification nobody cares to answer your inquiry. The response is send us an email and take it in the shorts. My first and last attempt with this horrible company

Part was over 20 years old

GM Parts Giant did nothing. They did not even contact me to attempt to resolve the issue.

I ordered a new calibration chip and received a part manufactured over 20 years ago. Not to mention, it was the wrong part. They refuse to return it. I would suggest avoiding GMPartsGiant.com at all costs.

Stole my money

I placed an order online and paid with my card. 1510.00 I get an email stating they cant verify my address and I have to pay with PayPal. Who can afford to pay twice? Not me! Now they have my money and I have no part!!!

Order still does not ship…

This is probably the longest time Ive ever waited for an order to arrive. I literally ordered 5 packages at the same time as the one ordered from this page and they have all arrived no problem. How to you receive a order 4 times bigger than the one youre expecting to receive first and still not even a ETA or shipping number. I would never buy and never recommend anyone to this site.

Don't try and Return an Order they screwed up

I ordered 6 spark plugs. They sent me six plugs, but one plug was a different part number from the rest. When I asked them to swap out the wrong spark plug, they asked me to send pictures of my order, which I did. Then they said the picture wasn't good enough, to take the plugs out of the boxes and take pictures so they could verify one plug was wrong. I did this as well. They then told me that they would not accept a return as the item was under $8. I wasn't asking to return the item, I just wanted them to correct their mistake and swap out the plug. Beware if you order from GMPartsGiant. You better hope that you receive the correct parts, because it's clear from their restrictive return policies as stated on their website, they will fight you on your return and might just tell you to get lost, as they did in my case.

Received incomplete order

I sent an order for an item that clearly indicated on description set of two headphones , I received my order and only one headphone was shipped after going back and forth with GMParts for almost 3 months and they keep telling me they were trying to contact their vendor they come back to tell me that vendor indicated items was sold individually , I send them copy of the item description and show it clearly said set of two but if that is the case then give me an RMA so I can get a refund since I did not received what I ordered, GMParts comes back and tells me my RMA request is denied because products contains electrical parts , they have horrible and really poor customer service even when clearly they are in the wrong
