I have received a cd of all my pitures

Original review Jun 26, 2019
I had pictures taken in 2010 by you location at the time in AZ Mills Mall. After the session they asked if I could place a few pics(2) in the studio. Then you moved to Scottsdale and then closed the location and not informing us. I would like the pictures back or $1000. I liked how the pictures turned out but not for the fact that you did not inform you customers that had pics with the studio that you were closing! Please respond promptly. I received a call from someone but not able to call back for no phone number was left for me to do so. Thank you! Lynn Harrison 602-332-**** lmusic2003****@***.com

Great pictures but upset that no one called to say they were closing

Hello - I had pictures taken in 2011(date on back of picture} at the store in Arizona at that time Az Mills mall. They asked us if we could use 2 of our pictures in the studio for display. We agreed. I'm upset for they did NOT call to say they were closing the store once they moved to Scottsdale, Az. I would like to have the pictures found or reimbursement of $1000.00! I was very pleased with the quality of the pictures but not when they close with no notification especially if you have something in their store. That is NOT acceptable! Please call or email so we can resolve this issue. Lynn Harrison 602-332-**** lmusic2003****@***.com

Scammed

This event happened 10 years ago, however I was only 7 years old. Now, I am 17 years old and my father was telling me the story on how his credit is messed up. We went in for a photo shoot at Glamour Shots in Queens Center Mall (it's closed now). Even as a 7 years old I remembered we never got our photos printed. Now as a 17 year old and listening to my father's story, I am very aggravated. My dad explained that after the photo shoot they charged him about $5000 but that was too much. He tried to cancel the order by going to the store everyday for about 1-2 weeks, but workers would say the boss/manager wasn't there. Even through this, they charged my dad's credit card $5000. To top it off, we didn't even receive the photos. Even though this event happened 10 years ago, I'm sharing this story to advise people that this company is a SCAM. I've read many stories similar to this dating back to many years ago until now and the fact that this company is still open is so terrible.

I work there any they’re ripping me off

I’m not sure if all glamour shots are like this. But I’m a makeup artist there and I have a second job. They’ll schedule me for a 10 hour shift and then they’ll send me home 6 HOURS EARLY. I don’t live close to this glamour shots so I’m spending a decent amount in gas. They’re also not paying me for about 12 hours of training. Which they said they would pay me for. I also almost took off of work to go to this training. Also we have 45 minutes to do a full face of makeup and hair. That’s completely unreasonable. They’ll also tell me to come in later and go home early. So I’ll work maybe 6 hours a day for the entire time I’ve been there.

No complaints here

I never had any issues with the location at opry mills, Tennessee. I even drove over an hour to go there. The pictures came out amazing and didn't spend hardly anything, I am actually upset that there are no stores in Florida anymore.

Glamour Shots - Boudoir Photo Shoot Review

I purchased this boudoir photo shoot on Groupon for glamour shots I arrived for my appointment had my photos taken and then returned 30 minutes later to look at photos. I was then told how much the pics cost and almost died I ended up paying almost $600. I was told I could pick them up at the store for a $10 charge and they would call me when they were ready... haven't heard from them since. I have gone to the location in business days and the doors are locked I've tried calling number doesn't work I've called the number on the website doesn't work contacted headquarters to be told they are franchises and I need to contact the stores costumer service number but go figure number doesn't have anyone answering it I'm so pissed and want a full refund!!!!

Glamour Shots - Bridgewater NJ

Purchased a 29$ Groupon deal which offered hair, make up, 3 outfit changes, a retouched 8x10 printed portrait and a DVD slide show of all images. I made an appt, which they charge 20$ for, had to reschedule and they charged me another $20. I arrived for my appt at the Bridgewater NJ location....many Kudos to the make up/ hair stylist, she was a sweetheart and in no way contributed to my horrific end result experience. So I rock the shoot....sit down to view the pics and I'm waiting to be given my "free" DVD slide show. Out of about 40-50 pics, I absolutely adore 18 of them, the photographer then says, ok that's 2700$...I nearly pooped my pants onsite. Again I'm asking for what's included in my Groupon, and she's telling me I have to purchase the pictures I like first to get that. So after 2 hours of going thru pics and trying to Narrow down to something affordable (which is nothing) I end up with 8 pictures for over 400$. After they pressure you to apply for their financing, and sign your life away acknowledging no refunds, all sales final, the fool hands me the DVD...when I ask what it was I was told it's the slide show of all of your images which is what I had been asking about from the beginning. END result, this place is bait and switch! I was entitled to the DVD with all images and a printed photo with no additional charge out of pocket. They want you to purchase expensive photos because they get commission. I don't know how *** people are to really pay that, they bamboozled me, bug I complained and let them have it the next day and demanded a refund...which I got. Buyer Beware! The bait and Switch tactics still have me taken aback.

Glamour Shots - Customer Care Review

I got a livingsocial deal which Fabiano (manager) did not honor. He's very rude & unprofessional. Maybe racist- not cordial at all. I had to return my livingsocial deal & paid three times for the same deal. The makeup artist seemed pretty arrogant too & did not do a good job on the hair. She constantly asks what I wanted. Hello aren't you the expert- give ideas. Zero suggestions. Photos were done with fabianos unprofessional & cold nature that I did not even feel like buying a single photo. Never going back there.

Highlyover-priced photos

On 01/01/2017, in OKC, Ok, across from Penn Square Mall, my daughter and I had appt. to have "photos" taken by the "Glamour Shots. The session with OK, and we agreed on the pics. The sessions cost $ 880.10 , they gave me a disc with the pics on it. well , I checked around to see how much it would cost to have them printed by someone else. Then I thought about the total cost of the "pics" and had to ask myself that at $ 800.10 ( almost $ 1,000.00) that the printing of the "pics" should have been included with the session ( hopefully someone out feels like I do ) , but when I called in I was told that is how it works. I am so "pissed". But, if you have a lot of MONEY , feel free to go there.... I never will. I could have to JCP, and got a better deal. Oh, by the way I have used "Glamour Shots" 5 other times, but not again.

Owner called me the day after I gave birth to yell at me.

Updated by user Nov 25, 2016
I selected the Killeen, TX location but the website set it to Dallas. This event happened in Killeen, TX.

Original review Nov 25, 2016
My husband and I went into the Killeen, TX location in order to take maternity photos. My husband has been deployed for the majority of my pregnancy. We were able to find some time when he had leave to get portraits done. The session didn't go super well, and later that evening the owner of that location, Crystal, called me and said she wanted us to come back in and have a reshoot on her with free pictures. I was hesitant because the next day was his last day stateside before he went back to deployment, and I didn't want to waste hours there when we could be spending time together doing other things. She promised it would be quick, and it was. They took a few pictures and told me they would email the proofs since he was going back overseas and I was going home. It took over three weeks, and when I finally did get an email, it was an image taken from a cell phone. They sent me "proofs" they took of their computer with a cell phone and thought this was professional. I can't even tell which ones I might like, because, again, it's a cell quality image of 10 pictures. I finally decided to reach out to corporate via social media and that's when I got a response. Crystal, the owner, told me her staff just wasn't good with technology and that's why they sent me a cell phone picture. She eventually sent me more screenshots of my pictures. She claimed that she doesn't know how to put a watermark on her pictures and that's why they rely on screenshots. Then she called me the day after I gave birth to berate me for going to social media in the first place instead of calling her. I did call her several times, and I emailed them several times and never heard anything! Meanwhile, I still don't have any actual proofs I can look at, so I've never gotten any pictures. I wasted a few precious days I had with my husband for absolutely no reason. The whole situation makes me livid, especially the fact that she would call me right after I'd given birth to yell at me about reporting her to corporate and on social media.

UnHappy!!!!!

Ok, I went to visit my sister for spring break in Phoenix, and since it had been a while since we had seen each other she thought it would be a great idea to do some glamour shots, a sister session. She used a groupon and booked our appointment. The photos came out good, they even liked us so much that after we got out prints they called and asked if they could use one of our photos to hang in the store for a month, me and my sister agreed. With us saying yes to them using our photo we got a really good deal on a fancy picture and some additional prints from the shoot. I agreed to pay to get to of the photos made that were going to be displayed since me and my sister both wanted one, Now this is where the headache begins, I paid a month goes by and by now the picture was up, I called to find out about the sending my picture to me since I didn't live in Phoenix. I have yet to see my picture or get a refund for what I paid for, I call almost everyday for the past 5 months to speak to a manger and I get told there isn't a manger they're still waiting on the new manager to come and when they do they'll call me, I've asked for corporate contact information and been told that they are not allowed to give out that information. I just want my refund because I haven't received my product. This place is a rip off!!! and not organized at all!!!

Zero Integrity: The Customer is always wrong

Recommendations: If you're provided a groupon gift from a friend for this location, kindly decline. If you're hoping to capture a special moment, look elsewhere. Character: 1 out of 5 Dignity: 1 out of 5 Customer service: 1 out of 5 Affordability: 1 out of 5 Transparency/clarity: 1 out of 5 Character: Promotional material states that day-of specials will be made to accommodate your budgeting needs. Our circumstances leaned toward a digital package we were told would provide email access to edited photos via Dropbox. This was verbally estimated to be delivered on by 5/13/16. A follow-up email to unedited photos (artificial lighting and background theme mounting left in) was provided 5/12/16. However, no follow-up with edited photos was provided even as of 5/29/16. We were told that their verbal commitment required a reminder call for the owner to send on 5/27/16. Yet, after 3 email correspondences, this commitment now seems to have never happened and not fulfilled; thus, implying we, as customers, are liars. Dignity: This owner, his staff and his marketing materials prey on customers hoping to capture a historic moment in time. However, when it comes to displaying empathy for customers, you will get dismissive, defensive responses and follow-up that actually questions your character as a customer and does not match any customer long-term relationship building commensurate with the pricing. You may presume that photography that averages $57-77 per image or about $200/hr would proffer compassion, but that could not be further from truth. Customer Service: Because the photography and owner made a verbal commitment to email a Dropbox link to access edited shots from our photo shoot within 12 days to display for our baby shower, we coughed up $595 for this package. The edited photos were never shared via Dropbox. This verbal agreement was not honored and a refund request was not honored. Affordability: The promo materials will be provided via email for your review when your appointment is booked with the disclosure that special arrangements and/or packages will be provided during your appointment. If you're comfortable paying someone at least $60 per pose (one shot) at a rate of at least $200/hr, by all means, this is the place for you. Just prepare your wallets, expect a wait, expect zero verbal integrity and expect to be treated with zero dignity. Transparency/clarity: The promo materials (one-page flier, front-and-back) are laced with photography jargon. I sat and discussed the price-points of each section with the make up artist (absolutely unable to explain anything price-wise) and the owner for 20 minutes. I broke down the cost per pose for e-photos versus high-def to learn that the lower quality (e-photos) which top out at 5x7 or 8x10 printing (depending on if you ask the make up artist or photographer) are nearly $20 more money per pose. I immediately pointed this out and was told by the owner, "well, we don't want people to buy the e-photos because they're lower in quality." This anecdote parallels the clarity of their pricing and foretells the true vision to take as much money from their clients as possible. In summary, we are expecting our first child and were provided a groupon for the photo-shoot, make up for mommy, and one 10x13 touched-up pose. This took nearly 3 hours on 5/15/16 and nothing that was promised verbally has been delivered by the owner, despite full payment. When disclosing our dissatisfaction and inquiry for a refund of $716.46, we were disrespectfully declined and even informed that the owner's side of the street was clean and that each broken promise was actually our problem as the customer. This type of interaction is disgusting and despicable. I deeply pray that any friend or family member you refer to this sorry excuse for professional, artistic photography is directed to other more economical and customer-centric professionals/outlets.
