Troubleshooting omission

Updated by user Jul 28, 2023
I always shop for what I think is the best.

Original review Jul 26, 2023
In June 2015 I purchased a GB toilet (M #N2428R) from Home Depot. After about 5 years it no longer flushed properly. (In the meantime I compensated by pouring in a couple of gallons of water to complete the flush.) I checked the troubleshooting section of the Use and Care Guide to see what may be the problem. Only recently did I learn that this particular toilet has a siphon jet that injects water into the toilet from the bottom to aid in flushing. THE TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE SAYS NOTHING ABOAUT THIS SIPHON JET. I had no idea where it was located and what its function was. Once I located it I discovered that it was totally plugged up. With great difficulty I was able to break through the "plug" and clean out the channel. Thereafter the toilet again flushed as originally. Since the solution to the malfunctioning of this toilet was simple though troublesome, may I suggest that you modify your troubleshooting section of the Guide to include identifying this part of the toilet and what to do to prevent plugging, thereby insuring continued use of the toilet. Sincerely, one frustrated (fill in the blank).

Poor quality parts

The fact that Glacier Bay uses cheap materials is frustrating to say the least and caused a chain of events that ended up costing me money on top of what was spent to originally buy their product. Customer service was extremely difficult to deal with and their wait times were ridiculous. The CSR offered me $50 which I refused. Finally talked to a supervisor and was compensated $150. I took it and ran as I dont plan on giving them any more of my time or business.

I have not recieved order and website/contact email does not work. Do not buy from Glacierbayshop.com

Worthless product, don't waste your money.its to hard to earn to waste

Do not buy glacier bay toilets, comes with life time warranty, which by the way is useless.purchased one piece toilet 8 years ago toilet is like new but parts for inside tank cracked and universal parts don't work and the company who made them from China don't exist any more.go figure!!! when I called manufacturer was told its 8 years old...and...i asked when was the last time they replaced their toilet?got uuuhhh...exactly...so go with amercan standard or Kohler other wise you'll be s.o.l.

GB cartridge leaked and damaged unit below - GB won't honour warranty

GB faucet cartridge leaked and damaged unit below mine. Have been fighting with company over warranty. They claim that it's the faucet - but expert plumber verifies that it was the cartridge. Are fighting me on their responsibility to fix the damage that the GB cartridge caused. Warranty not worth paper written on. Have spent 2 months fighting them on getting the other unit repaired and they claim "it's the faucet that's damaged" then, "it's the cartridge that's damaged" then "it's the installation". Their product they should honour their warranty.

Disappointed with shower head purchase

Hello, I emailed a few months ago and then called and have not heard anything from Customer Service. I purchased a shower head in March - which I had to replace again due to it not working - little pressure, was just not a good experience. I have the receipt of my purchase - Home Depot could not do anything for me regarding a return, I am hoping your customer service will do something. Thank you,

No parts for a 5 year old product with lifetime warranty

Reply from customer support = product is discontinued sorry we can't help you! Disappointed to have to replace a sink because of one broken part! The strainer basket assembly on this model was not standard and does not exist in hardware stores, the hollow screw that holds it together and that broke is metric and does not exist in north America !

Glacier Bay toilet tank cracked and broke

Glacier Bay toilet tank cracked and broke. Would love to get a replacement tank that I can either pick up at the store or have delivered. Sticker inside says glacier Bay (round toilet) 2rc08 UPC 132992****14( elongated toilet) 2EC08 UPC 132992****11 1.28 gallons per flush. I would rather not buy a whole toilet. I don't even care that its the same one, just one that fit and connected correctly. Most importantly id prefer to not have to deal with an old wax ring. Itd take me less than 20 minutes to replace a whole toilet but *** than nasty wax ring. Most tanks I've seen though cost more than a basic whole toilet. I rent and am looking to move soon so it's not something I'm looking to invest a lot in to

I bought a toilet at Home Depot last year. However, due to poor coating, it can no longer be used. It's too dirty even after cleaning. I have a receipt.

Purchased a Glacier Bay Medicine Cabinet Surface Mount Tri-View on 2/27. Installed it over the weekend and noticed the edge on the left side was chipped. Would like to have it replaced instead of removing it and returning to the store
