Complaining about parking

I did talk with customer service! Very pleasant! The store has free parking but the government employees take up all of the available parking spaces during the workday.

Charging for nothing

I was charged $11.52 and never placed an order or received an order. As a matter of fact I have no idea what I was paying for. Now when I call nobody answers it just says they are experiencing higher than normal call volumes for 6 days now and it hangs up. I will never use giant again. Absolutely disgusted

To get all my accounts into one card

I had three accounts and when I forgot my giant card and put my phone number in it said the card was not valid. Hope fully once they issue me a new card this issue will be resolved

Customer complaint

Horrible the store manger says to me the employee was only in my vehicle for 15 seconds. My money still missing. I dont care if it was 15 seconds or 15 minutes. My center consul and glove box was both open. I even had word exchange with the employee so if your cameras have audio you will clearly hear me asking for you why she went through my car and I are clearly stating to look for my registration in case they had to call the cops and I said well the Cops could have ran myplate. The behavior demonstrated by the staff is disgusting and I cannot believe that this is tolerated in such a well new establishment is dying

Complain about product

I shop at Giant every week and have been doing so for over 20 years. But recently I have had numerous bad experiences. I purchase four bags of lemons every week. I have on numerous occasions, purchased lemons that are rotten, and last week I purchased a watermelon that the checkout person asked me to scan in the bottom of my cart which I did. She told me the scan did not take and then she punched it in and I ended up getting charge for the watermelon two times. I can upload the receipt if you would like.

Carts

I always have to get my cart from where people put their carts after use. They never have small carts and the ones they have are old and hard to manage. This has been happening for years. The store is at Village West on Tilghman St in Allentown, PA. Barbara Friedenheim

MANGER AT WESTWOOD SHOPPING CENTER BETHESDA CARTER VERY RUDE

The manager of this store, Kenny Carter, is the rudest grocery store manager I have ever encountered. I was totally ignored for a lvery very long time and the error message said help is oon on its way. But nobody ever came. After waiting a long time, I asked if I could be attended to, He blew up in my face "You think you're the only customer I've got?" His behavior was extremely unprofessional and inappropriate and he went on and on and on when I was calm, yelling into my face. I usually never file a complaint, but I told him that I was going to file a complaint. He laughed and said knock yourself out! See what happens!" Insinuating that he was above approach and he could basically say or do anything he wanted and nobody would do anything. It outrageous. Even when he admitted I was calm he kept on and on into my face. This was more than just a bad day. This was extreme rudeness.

Did n not receive gas points

Did not receive gas points, was overcharged for in store specials and didn't have 2x gas points coupon to show. Customer service wasn't open and cashiers could not help. Not a very pleasant experience.

I tried to use the app. It wouldnt let me change my password, so I couldnt get into the app! So I couldnt get my points, coupons, and anything else that SHOULD save me money. Customer Service Rep KAYLAH did EVERYTHING she could to help me but, it STILL wouldnt work. I may change my store to ACME. I dont deserve the stress, plus not getting app benefits! Please fix it!!

Absolutely no recognition of LGBTQ PRIDE Month

As a member of the lgbtq community who very frequently shops at the giant market was very surprised to not see any mention of pride and/or any pride merchandise as apposed to last year...I would appreciate to see support especially at this time of Hate and intolerance in this country. I feel that if I support you than the very least that could be done is to show support in return..

Called customer service sever times. Automated system contained to repeat or loop around the same thing. I was unable to be connected to a rep, even though I selected the appropriate options.

Tried to reach customer service, (to no avail), regarding wilted vegetables received on an order. The automated system seems set up to discourage customers from reporting complaints.

Resolved: Cashier stole my airpods

Updated by user Jun 13, 2023

Details.

Original review Jun 13, 2023
June 13th around 530 pm I left my AirPods by the register and a short cashier wearing sunglasses and buzzcut hair stole my AirPods at Thorndale giant. I asked her where they were and she acted very sketchy and nervous. I do not want to shop here again. I was looking around the area in the floor and she sprinted out the door randomly. My guess is to stash them somewhere outside because she came back in like 2 minutes. I usually love going to giant they are great however I am not going back for long time. Very sketchy i light go back and ask them to check the cameras but I do not want to call police over something like this.

Absolutely unprofessional treatment

I have been shopping the Giant in Trexlertown, Pa for years and most recently tried their online ordering. Complete nightmareelectronic coupons dont workthe invoice u get doesnt match what they charge your account. You get nothing but passed from employee to employee with made up excusescondescending/patronizing uncaring attitudesyou have to keep chasing them for an answer. They will act like they have done everything they could for u credit you with a measley amount of compensation which they feel they have gone above and beyondits a jokemanagement isnt at all interested in listening to your frustration after it happened three weeks in a row.their making up things as they go alongvery cocky.they dont want you to talk to anyone higher up.absolutely disgusting. This store needs an overall and I mean with employees/management. Bottom line is they will continue to screw up and they will throw you some completely embarrassing amount to shut u up and the problem will still continue and they wont care how frustrated you areif they tell you your a valued customer believe me their treatment of you clearly clarifies otherwise. Horrible customer servicevery unprofessional and pay attention to what they are charging you because that is suspicious as well!!!

Grocery stores are NOT dog parks! Emotional support dogs are not service dogs and they do not belong in the carts! The store does nothing about it!

Dog Owners are abusing the right to take a dog in to grocery stores, restaurants, hospitals, every public place with zero regard to the people who suffer with allergy disabilities, many of which are life threatening. Allergies kill. Shots and pills do not help everyone. Sufferers go in to anaphylactic shock in many severe cases. This affects children and adults both. Service dogs have now been overshadowed by the "emotional support" dog where people can just go online, pay a fee and get paperwork. Public places are not required to cater to emotional support dogs as they are for service dogs yet people do not seem to be aware of this. There is severe abuse going on with this and people with allergies to dog dander are suffering greatly. They are being allowed into restaurants and grocery stores where food items are and then taken home and ingested by the allergy sufferer which makes the allergy even more potent and can be fatal. Something needs to be done about this. There are now ads being distributed to encourage even more people to apply to get their dog recognized as an emotional support dog which again is not a service dog. And stores are not even trying to keep the animals out and in many cases they don't even think they have rights to do so. They are also allowing these pet owners to place their dogs into food carts which is actually against the food safety regulations so anyone that sees this please take pictures and send to your health organization and report the stores with the proof of the picture, time and date and report the store to put a stop to it. Stores are not even allowed to ask a person for paperwork but are allowed to ask if it is an actual service dog not an emotional support and if so what services has it been trained to provide yet they are doing nothing, in fact some stores encourage it. Join me in the fight to gain rights as an allergy sufferer myself to have our disability recognized and cracked down on this! Public stores are to cater to everyone with disabilities yet they do nothing to help allergy disabilities. They must be held accountable for their lack of enforcing these laws!

Prices And customer service and early closing, Rotisserie chicken was put away before 10 o'clock it's already cooked no reason for it to be put away or at least get it out for me if I ask for it and

I've been shopping at the Lynnwood square Maryland giant food store for 30 years. I would say I am a loyal customer considering I am almost equidistant to 2 other grocery stores a Safeway and Wise. Now this giant changes our hours based on the expired covid 19 epandemic. Food is a necessity and there should never have been an impact to our food delivery and availability when possible but here at this giant and others they have lower developability and now even with the expired changed the hours even less and made it less available. This is The ultimate and profit gouging. I am done and I will be moving to Safeway this is not acceptable I have several prescriptions I used to get from this giant pharmacy in all 5 of them are moving to Safeway pharmacy. This is not acceptable especially, Rotisserie chicken should be available until closing I went to the deli area where normally they have it available even after the deli has closed because there is no work it's sitting in a self service area. All you need to do is wait till closing before putting it away because of the ultimate level of poor customer service They have put it away early and at quarter to 10 when they should be open to 11 but they're open till 10 fine but be open fully why was the rotisserie chicken not available I wasted my time coming to this silly store I could have gone to Safeway and I would have got what I needed I was actually in the store at 9 o'clock shopping but I never thought they would be so silly I start on the right side and move left that is my pattern Starting with frozen foods and coming around these people need to keep those services available now if I was trying to get sliced turkey or something like that that's different there's a cooked item they still had several available and the gentleman there would not go in the back and just get it out for me I wasn't asking for a special one I just wanted 1 of the rotisserie chickens that's already done that you've put it in the back and you just don't want to get it out That's unacceptable doctor ball I know if I was at Safeway they would have gotten it out for me and I'm headed there now and I will get what I want either there or at Walmart because they Respect customers they did in the past but not anymore. I think you should realize customers pay for this place and you will soon be looking At diminish sales and lost profitability I like the pharmacy here typically very good but now I'm leaving I have already Gone on to my John's Hopkins my chart application and change my pharmacy request and I will be moving to safewby 30 years 30 years I was here for 30 ears was goodbye and farewell My telephone number if you need to reach me on the giant app 410788**** or my cell 301524**** ,
