Tried to get it smog and it didn't pass because of the chip. So how do I get it readjusted so it will pass smog here in Califronia

Smog did not pass because of the Gforce performance chip. How do I reprogram it back to normal so I can get smog to pass? Also can I get the chip back after it is smog?

Emission problem

Has there been any problems with emissions failure after installing the Gforce chip? My 2013 Silverado with the 6.1 motor failed inspection for emissions.

2001 Ford Ranger XLT

Had this truck for 6.5 yrs, chip was installed 2 months after buying the truck. I did notice a difference, a good one! Truck idled better on cold mornings and I got close to +3.5mpg extra. Going from 17mpg to 20.5 mpg is awesome! Really helped selling the truck too, sold very quick! Overall it was a great product I thought, 5 star

1995 Pontiac Bonneville

I purchased my first G Force product and enjoyed better gas mileage as well as better gas in my estimation. While traveling at highway speeds of 70 - 80 mph on a trip to Nags Head, N.C. my gas mileage with a 3800 V-6 engine was between 30 - 31 mpg. I could not believe it and double checked on the way home. Granted, this is highway only ... but still great mileage in an older and larger car that tips the scale about 3700 lbs. and it ran like a top! Maybe it was me, but it did feel like it had more power. Passing was no problem even while traveling through the Smokey Mountains. In my estimation, I feel the G Force product was beneficial to add to my vehicle. I am not a testing type of person and thought it might have helped my car. You my or may not agree with me, but the choice is up to you.

Gforce Performance Chip - Performance Chip Review from Cape Girardeau, Missouri

I don't get it. I purchased a gforce chip for my 2006 Saturn Vue,3.5L V-6. It was 100% better in performance, fuel, the sound of it when into gas pedal. At 80-90mph it would kick down and get your attention. I tell you that a 2014,15 new 6cylinder from a dead stop could not get by me. Im a believer. I just bought a 2009 chevy 2500HD Duramax 4x4 4dr. And i want a gforce performance chip for it. I would like someone to get back to me so i can purchade 1. 573-382-****. Eddie Rhodes, SEMissouri. Thank you

2010 SRT8 6.1

Installed Gforce chip in my 6 Spd Challenger..Drove car to Newfoundland and back to Elizabeth City NC..While in Canada,on the QEW in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick, using regular gas and driving at 70 MPH,I recorded 28.7 MPG on multiple fill ups..In the states my milage went up to 24.9 MPG..Reason was that Canada wasn't using ethanol enriched gasoline..I have been so impressed with this chip I have purchased one for the wifes 2012 SRT8 Charger.I am sure that it will perform as well as the one I installed on my Challenger and sone 5.7 Ram truck..

Sorry Product G Force Preformance Chip

After putting the unit on my vehicle I didn't see any chance in the performance or the gas mileage, I contacted G Force they said I didn't drive unit far enough to see a difference. I now have 5,000 miles on the vehicle an still see no difference. Have not been able to contact G Force. I understand the the BBB is on this Company about bad products and the Calif courts have ruled on this that the Company has to refund the purchase price. If anyone has customer service number please send it to me, at tnix@***.rr.com

Gforce Performance Chip - Toyota Performance Chip Review from Winnipeg, Manitoba

I installed it on my 2006 Toyota matrix it was sluggish before having this now it is peppy for a 4 cylinder engine and is much better on gas I recommend this product. I think most people don't install it correctly. So many bad reviews , not the case for me it's a great product.

Gforce Performance Chip Performance Chip Review

Complete waste of time, took it off my pickup and threw it in the trash . I called the tech support to ask a question about installing it and they chewed me out for being a fake customer

Great hopes flushed...

Purchased Gforce for my son's 2007 Durango hoping to help him as he is a single dad taking kids to sports practices every day plus 100 plus mile sport meets. Had my mechanic of 30 years install it so it would be done correctly (he laughed at me, said 'waste of money, but OK"). IT DID NOTHING OVER A THREE MONTH PERIOD. Wish could get my money back plus expenses for install.... If this product is so good why don't they guarantee it - so sad, it makes you distrust every product offer.

Performance Chip Review

The chip was installed in my 2004 Celica GT. After about 30 miles the car started dying at every stop light or stop sign. I had no power whatsoever. just barely lurching & bucking down the road. It actually went through the half tank of gas faster than it had ever before.

Gforce Performance Chip - Gforce Chip Review from Fort Riley, Kansas

I bought the"chip" knowing what it would be just to see for myself. I am mechanically and electronically inclined so I tend to understand how things work and how to repair them. The Gforce chip is a resistor bank. The concept is it acts as a resistor between the signal being sent from your air flow sensor to your actual chip that regulates things like fuel ratio. The concept is by using this chip you trick your ECU into thinking it has less air. Thusly you modify the fuel ratio by making the engine have a different fuel ratio. In this case by getting a false reading you increase the fuel to air ratio with the resistor bank IE gforce chip. A resistor lowers the voltage from the MAF sensor thusly altering the signal the ECU receives. This cause the ECU to inject more fuel into the engine and create more power. This on its own defies the logic that you would get better gas mileage because you are dumping more fuel into the engine on the injection cycle. Secondly your ECU is programmed to recognize this change and since the stock tuning runs lean for better mileage and less stress on engine components it does not inject more fuel into the engine. You ultimately end up with less power. No improved power and no improved gas mileage. It is a scam. I research the product very thoroughly before I bought it to know what it is and how it would work. I knew it wouldn't work but I wanted to get my hands on it to actually take it apart and study it. It does indeed when supplied with power reduce the output electrical current. As I said before though because of the way your stock ECU is programmed it does not work. I did all of this so you don't have to. On top of all of this you have to splice into your MAF cable to use this forcing you to buy a new wiring harness should you decide not to use it. It also will void your warranty. Things that do work however are cold air ram intakes. Not a short pipe or a metal pip but something that does not pick up heat from the engine and draws in cold outside air from the fender or bumper. Just a filter alone will not do it unless your intake is built similar to the above. Secondly your engine need to be able to dump all that air and fuel so you will need to upgrade your exhaust system to reduce back pressure. Unless you run a rich mixture not all of your air is used in the combustion cycle. It's about getting more cold air into the engine for it to burn and being able to get it out more efficiently. Thirdly you need to account for all of this and adjust the programming for your fuel air ratio that you can do with an actual tuning computer that plugs into the data port that mechanics use to check engine codes. In doing all of that you will see real horsepower gains. You will loose gas mileage in doing so. If your looking for better gas mileage leave your vehicle stock. Things like improving aerodynamics will improve gas mileage. Additionally if you do all the above because you're looking for better performance look at a turbo or supercharger. This way you increase air density further by compressing it giving the engine more air to use allowing more fuel to burn. Electric turbos and superchargers are also a scam. They do not compress the air which takes a lot of mechanical energy or exhaust energy in the case of a turbo to do. A resistor bank cannot do any of this. Be informed on your next purchase. Do not buy this product.
