Deplorable Customer Service and Response!

Our Geeni pet feeder stopped working (within warranty period) and I contacted the company back in June to start the process of getting documentation, etc to get a replacement unit. They requested the obvious (copy of receipt, photos of the unit, serial number, etc) which I sent immediately. After some time, they requested more information (video of the unit not working, serial number AGAIN, address, etc). More time goes by and they said the Warranty committee was looking into it, and requested photos AGAIN, serial AGAIN, etc. I obliged and sent the info immediately. It has now been almost 2 MONTHS from my initial contact with them, providing all of the requested information several times, and they have been missing in action. Their follow up, follow through, and customer service are deplorable. The only good thing now is that I know how they feel about their customers, and I will make sure everyone I know is aware of them before purchasing one of their products. Purchase at your own discretion. Just know that if it breaks, you will have no recourse from Geeni. Sure, they might respond...but only to give you a frustrating run around until you either give up, or the warranty period runs out. My advice: find something similar (BETTER) from another company. The only thing they are professionals at is wasting your time if something goes awry. Beware.

My camera not work

Not happy with geeni at all they could not answer my concern.I put all I wonted to say if you cant get this with these few words your not worth keeping my business

My light bulb isnt connevting

my bulb isnt connecting to the Wi-Fi and the paper is no help. i tried turning the light on and off 3 times and it still didnt work

All devices not working properly

The day I switched my wifi provider they have not worked since. I have done and tried everything possible. So I am hoping it's something on your end that can resolve this.

Absolutely horrible camera and no customer service no matter call, email or auto char

I have tried the auto chat, calling and email with no success for days ! I have owned a genie camera for 3 years and now that I am out of town and need it , it says offline and keeps taking me to buy storage packages . When I return home it will go in the trash and will let everyone that's looking for a camera to avoid genie!!!

What a pissant company. Camera worked fine with my phone. Apparently geeni needed me to be connected to the cloud.now my cameras don't work anymore and geeni can shove them where the sun don't shine.

Cameras won't work because I don't sign geeni privacy to open my property to the cloud. That ain't the wind that is the privacy agreement sucking.

I can’t get my save videos

I need my saved videos for police reports to able to be made and I cant get to them map I need someone to contact me so that I can retrieve them immediately do to safety reasons

Geeni sent me a replacement plus additional items for waiting so long. The items are very good, solar globe and solar hanging lights. Very nice, I am a happy customer!

It has been almost 6 weeks since I sent in proof that the product was defective. I have had over 15 calls, unknown amount of emails and talked to many, many different representatives and still I have had no update to my ticket nor any information about getting a replacement! It boggles the mind!

Notifications not coming threw

Still after talking with someone he was suppose to call back never did I still do not get notification and I have paid for services until 8/14/23 this make no sense to me I have never had a problem until now I am disappointed And if its not ever going to work or no one will help me fix the problem then I will find a solution

I need to talk to somebody nobody ever talks to me every time I call I talk to somebody they tell me they're going to do something and never have anything done. This is getting really ridiculous. It's

my outside camera hasn't worked ever since I bought it. I have called several several times and talk to several people and they were supposed to send me another one never got one never heard from anybody.

Not working

Inside doorbell will not work with Geeni Doorpeek HD. Doorbell has power and camera is functioning and the doorbell works outside but you cannot hear the doorbell inside. Chime for back door is working fine. So by process of elimination conclusion product problem

Help with motion light.

I have device ID eb5fdda2ac320f33dfnprw. I had little trouble with the setup, but I cannot figure out how to make the light go when motion is detected. I replaced my driveway flood light with this device so this functionality is critical. Please advise the correct settings to make this work, thanks!

Billing issues

THE CLOUD SERVICE BEING DOWN ALL THE TIME, SO THE CAMERAS ONLY WORK IN LIVE MODE. I HAVE EMAILED CUSTOMER SERVICE MULTIPLE TIMES TO CANCEL BUT NEVER GET A RESPONSE OR CHANGES TO THE ACCOUNT. I HAVE SELECTED TO CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION ON THE APP, BUT IT DOESN'T CANCEL THE SUBSCRIPTION. I HAVE TRIED CALLING CUSTOMER SERVICE A DOZEN TIMES AND GET NO ANSWER. SO AFTER 6 MONTHS I HAVE BEEN PAYING FOR A SUBSCRIPTION THAT I HAVE CANCELED ALREADY, THAT DOESN'T WORK. I WILL HAVE TO CANCEL MY BANK CARD AND GET A NEW ONE, WHICH MEANS CONTACTING ALL OF MY OTHER ACCOUNTS AND CHANGING MY BILLING INFO, WHICH IS SUCH A LONG PAIN IN MY *** I FEEL LIKE SUING THE COMPANY IF IT WAS WORTH IT.

Being billed twice a month

I had 3 cameras set up on cloud billing.2 cameras quit working and I deleted them from phone app.I continued to get billed every month for them.I have tried on numerous occasions to resolve the issue of being charged several months with only 1 of the 3 working.No customer support.Paying for services I no longer use!
