Bad business practice

We purchased a new Class C Thor motor home. After we purchased our new motorhome we drove it 32 miles to our home and tried out the slide, but it would not retract. Called Ganders RV where we had purchased it and was told to bring it back in. They checked it out and told us one of the six motors on the slide out was not working and they would contact warranty. While we were waiting to hear back from warranty some one cut the catalytic converter off. They said we would have to have our insurance pay for this. We waited almost 7 months for the converter went to pick it up yesterday and was told we had to pay 500 deductible for the warranty work and 500 deductible for the catalytic converter. We ask them about our Good Sam warranty and was told they would not cover it. Got home checked my Good Sam Policy and it would cover it so I called them and they said because we did not call them before the repairs were done they were not responsible. Has anybody else been charged a deductible to get warranty work done? I thought if it was under warranty it was free to get fixed.

Complete Lack of Customer Service

During the walk through one of the slide-outs failed and broke, We were given a 1-2 time frame to repair the problem. Went back to finish the paperwork, given a new time frame. As we're leaving a 1-2 week time frame. After a week of no contact and no returned calls, learned that they would swap another trailer sight unseen to "fix" the problem. Now trying to get a full refund, and no one knows when the checks will be issued, or for how much. No information, no clues, and I'm paying interest on a loan for a trailer I don't have.

Firearm record

Lost firearm and need to report to police. Need serial number for firearm to recover weapon. Need assistance with retrieving weapon from police department

Disappointed

Our family bought a membership because of their selection of firearms and ammo, only to find out they don't sell either now! There also was a safety hazard of cords hanging down from the ceiling onto the floor, which I tripped on. We are also avid campers, but the prices for camping equipment is higher than anywhere else.

Long story, ready to call an attorney!

Very long story! Thank goodness I spoke with Deanna Garofolo. She has been wonderful! Working closely with me to resolve this issue. After waiting almost 2 years, finally have someone who cares! Have not gotten any help from any District management, or store manager. Disgusted widow!

Want a mailing address for a merchandise certificate

Cant call you and talk with someone for something as simple as getting an address! Call me and LEAVE a message with your address so I can redeem my certificates which I received in the mail after the purchase!!!

Horrible customer service

I purchased a $1300.00 dinghy in June 2021. It did not come with a title (manufacture's statement of origin). To have a boat with a motor, it must be registered. After being told several times that they were generating a title and not receiving it. We began the return process in October. This meant that we missed an entire boating season with the boat. First, they tried telling me that I would have to pay the $230 shipping fee to return the boat. Eventually, they agreed to pay for the shipping. They received the boat on 10-07-21. The money was not returned until 11-15-21. Then was only returned after I had to call to find out where my money was? Poor customer service

Horrible customer servie

Held up the order couldn't pull it up then put a hold on it. Didn't apply the coupon correctly had to sit on hold with customer service horrible experience I should have just ordered directly from orca! now after waiting 45 minutes shocker their system just went down!!!! told they would apply coupon but would take 5 days!!! when first they said the order was not even processed!!!

Incompetent's

We just spent 45 minutes going to Gander Outdoors in Rothchilds, Wi pick up a park only to have part of the package missing when we get it home. someone returned this part and they are sending it out without the means to use it. I am LIVID. What a waste of time and effort to deal with these people. I am starting to understand the frustration with this company. GET YOUR S_ _T together!!!

Huber Heights Ohio store messed up the entire travel trailer purchase!

My wife and I went to the Huber Heights store in Ohio to look at a travel trailer. The salesperson took us to look at the camper, and I told the salesperson twice that the camper we saw on the internet didn't match what we were shown. The salesperson assured us that the unit shown to us was in fact the right unit and not the one listed on the internet. We agreed to purchase the camper. I went to pick up the camper, they said that the unit I was shown was not the camper I purchased. Pathetic, we cancelled the purchase.

Bad customer service

I contacted Gander Outdoors, Tyler Texas, Finance Department about canceling Extended warranties for Good Sams Roadside Assistance and Extended Service plan, GAP and Tire and wheel protection. The receptionist told me the finance person said he would call me back, but he never did. On 9/10/21, I went by the store, and signed the cancellation for the Extended warranty and Tire and wheel. I was told the others could not be canceled, which was incorrect. I called the companies that issued the extended plans, and was told the store had not provided them the cancellations. TThe Tyler

Charged sales tax/waiting for a return check

NY OFFICE CHARGED ME SALES TAX ON PURCHASE/ IN STATE OF MASS THEY DO SALES TAX ON REG OF UNIT, WAITING FOR OFFICE TO RETURN MY CALL THAT THEY WILL ISSUE A CHECK BACK TO ME/ OR RE DO LOAN SINCE NOW IT HAS INCORRECT PRICE ON LOAN..

Bad sale deal

Consigned my RV for them to sell. After a very long time they talked me into lowering my price, claimed they had a buyer at that price. It wasn't true and I lost another $1000 on the sale. When it finally did sale they held the payoff from the bank so long I had to make another payment. The service contract was supposed to have been cancelled a month before the sale but they never did it for nearly 5 months I had to stay after them to get my refund which was supposed to be 1500 dollars, got 1100 today refund the

Terrible customer service

Long story short, 2017 M33 Mallard camper, brackets pulley pulled off the wall, slide wouldn't move. July 1st had an appt, we were told it was covered under extended warranty, week later was told no and it would be $1000 to fix. Called Assurant, who extended warranty was through, no claim was ever made. After they told us they had, called Assursant again and they had documentation of us calling and the other 2 times it had been taken in, but no claim. Flat out lied to us.

Order #961082****

I am so disappointed in the service Gander has provided with this order. I cannot believe that this is the way your Company handles business. June 15th I ordered a RV toilet. Dometic 320. I went through Gander because they offered express shipping. I paid the 31.33 for the faster shipping. On June 18th I still had not received a shipping confirmation so I called customer service and talked to Cynthia, she was very helpful. She let me know that the order was in the Stockton warehouse and would be shipped soon. I did ask about the express and she said they couldnt do express. I asked for a refund of the 31.33 I paid for the express. She said I would have to call the regular customer service because she just handles the overflow and could not do that. Later that day Cynthia went out of her way to call me back and leave me a message stating that she talked to Stacy, the supervisor in Denver and she would refund my shipping charge and the toilet would be shipped in 5-7 business days. Fast forward to July 7th. Still no refund and still no shipping email. Have not received any information about my order, etc. I got online and did the online chat and chatted with Lucinda M. She stated that the toilet was on backorder. I was livid. She then came back with I see we just received the toilets in stock so expect a shipping confirmation in the next day or two. Not happy at all I said ok but where is my 31.33 refund? She then said it should be in your PayPal account. I said I know that, its not there. She then put me on hold and was contacting the PayPal department with Gander. Taking forever I had to hang up. Then about an hour later I receive notification that a refund has been issued from Gander to my Pay Pal account. So this was NEVER done in the first place. As of today July 13th I still have not received a shipping email NOTHING regarding my order. I only have gotten the order confirmation and that is it! If this is on backorder why wasnt I notified of this? They were not on backorder when I placed the order. This si unacceptable and need to either get my toilet shipped ASAP or a refund to my account ASAP!!! I do not want to wait any longer! This is awful customer service and will not be purchasing anything from you again. I will also be letting our camping friends know about this and how awful the service is. I expect a response immediately about my order!

Service problem

We have been treated with disrespect by their service department. Bought a new camper in March and have had multiple problems with it each time we use it. When we take it for service we.have told.they can find any thing wrong. Have had to take it back for same complaint with video to prove there is problem. Find out the problem is corroded parts on a brand new camper that was used one time. Another problem was finding water on floor when opening slide at home. Again they said they couldn't find anything. We went on a trip and had a rain storm, water was pouring in from under refrigerator, cabinets and wall. My husband found the leak, the refrigerator vent was not installed properly, 3/4 inch gap between vent and roof.dont don't do
