Gamestop employees fraudulently short trade in customers.

Never in my life have I had such horrible customer service as a long time Game stop customer I am ashamed and angered that I supported such a company. I was blatantly mislead in a Trade in for a perfect condition that was supposed to pay almost 240 cash the employee put in the system the wrong information and refused to even check into this discrepancy of which time it was too late my phone had been wiped and put in the system I was then told it was too late so I had no other choice but to take it or so the employee said. I called customer service who did nothing but create a escaladed ticket and said I would get a call by from the store manager and district manager within 72 hours which turned into 7 to 15 days and we just passed a month still not even a call back sooooo pissed they should be ashamed of the way they treat their customers Do not dont su

GameStop Lied, stole our money, and refuses to fix the order.

I placed an order online, the tracking is sayings its been delivered but I havent received it. I was told a refund would be made in 3-5 days after the claim, but I never received it back. When I emailed, they told me I would have to file a claim with USPS unlike what I was told on the phone, which USPS is not allowing me to as I am not the sender. I am not understanding why I was lied to, and why the order still hasnt arrived. I always purchase in store, I am beyond disappointed this has happened with my first online order with GameStop. I had no idea GameStop done this to their customers! 110000****581901 is the order number. Can somebody please explain why we have been lied to and strung along with our missing order?!

Gamestop really surprised me with poor service recently

I had an issue using a gift-card online. Customer service incorrectly told me to go to a local Gamestop to resolve it.

I drove 25 minutes to the closest Gamestop only to be told they couldn't help me and that I need to call support again. So I did, only to be told the rep in-store COULD have helped me. I've had a purchase in my online cart for 5 days which I still can't order, plus I had something in-store to purchase which I couldn't.

I keep being told wrong info, wasted almost an hour of driving, and now all I'm being offered is a replacement gift-card that will take up to 10 days to receive. What a joke.

I have been a Gamestop customer for 20+ years and I'm a long-term stockholder. To be given such poor service over a simple situation over and over again is really pathetic. Gamestop has had numerous chances to fix my issue and keep giving me incorrect information, then the runaround, and now ignoring me. Sad to have supported them for so long to see that they don't actually care about helping me after leaving my son empty-handed twice before his birthday.

Poor customer service unacceptable

Visiting Cincinnati from Detroit and went on n to purchase a lens CD cleaners and store was not open on time. An associate came to the door and said the store wasn't going to open for an hour.

Terrible Customer Support

I had an online order stolen from my doorstep. Called GS to get it resolved online. Waited over 2hrs on the phone to be told GS will not provide a refund or replacement on stolen orders. Apparently this is GS policy. GS provides insurance on all online orders which means they need to file a claim with the shipper to get the money back. GS told me this was my responsibility which is not true. I had to go to my local post office and get a manager to write a letter to GS stating this is not the responsibility of the buyer. All shipping companies will require the shipper to file a claim because they are the ones paying for the insurance. I then had to go to a local store to talk to a manager who had to talk to his regional manager to get the whole thing resolved. To make things even better I used points for the online order which apparently GS will not refund. The whole experience was a complete #%!? show and showed me why this company is quickly going out of business. I will never do business with GS again.

Account

Annoyed that simply closing my account with gamestop that I had to call a customer service number to delete my membership I no longer use. I dont understand why the store itself that set up the account couldn't close it. Im tired of being ripped off.

No package and no help

I have contacted the customer service line multiple times and still have not received answers, the product I paid for, or anything else. I have been hung up on multiple times and have even been told that while my placement is under investigation, I won't be receiving anything until Uber Eats responds to the claim made. I also called back today (03/28/2023) and asked if I could get the Uber Eats order number, so I can contact them directly. I was told that GameStop doesn't have any information on the person that was supposed to deliver my order. No name, first or last, no number, and no order number. So even though I am willing to reach out and contact Uber Eats myself, I can't because GameStop has no information that they can give me to do so. This has been going on for two weeks, and I am no closer to receiving my items than I was day one. I'm at the point where I ready to start calling the news channels and anyone else I can to start shedding more light on stuff like this. The only good thing that I have gotten from all of this is that I contacted the store that I go to and within moments, they were already on it trying to get my replacement. They asked me to give them a few days. But they sent me a copy of the email that they sent to the corporate office along with the reply. A ticket number for the investigation that the loss prevention is doing, and contact numbers for everyone involved. They have also called me back multiple times to keep me updated. Hopefully this gets resolved soon.

Website crashes and horrible customer support.

I ordered the god of war ps5 bundle on 03/18/2023. When I went to pick up the console about 50 miles away I was told there was no such order. I went to my car to call support and was told that there was nothing that could be done basically. I was on that call for almost two hours. The representative I was speaking to canceled my order to get me off the phone. So I had to go back in the store and purchase the ps5 bundle Again out of pocket. The website crashed many times when I was purchasing this item and it advertised same day pickup. GameStop needs to work on their website and customer service. Its 03/26/2023 and the bundle is $50 dollars less in price and customer support claims they cant give credits or a refund for the difference in cost. The item is still within the return policy. This should be a simple thing to change. I was told to write a handwritten letter to corporate and mail it to them and wait for a response if I even get one. The representative could have given me a email address or got me connected with the proper channels in the first place.

Digital code download is not coming through.

Hello customer service, I have recently purchased two ten dollar Valorant gift card digital codes off your store online. I have used a visa gift card for the checkout process. I had received confirmation of my purchase through emails, but it has been a day and I have not seen the code. I tried to check my order again to confirm the status but it had said my order was invalid. No money has been returned to my gift card, and no product was received. Please help with finding the issue, thank you.

Partial order never shipped - ZERO Customer Service

I placed an order on December 17th. I received an email stating part of my order had shipped on 12/18 providing an USPS tracking number (920559****00510000****). The items referenced on this shipment never arrived, so I tracked the shipment online and the status was still awaiting carrier pick up & tracking number created. Basically, the items never actually shipped. I reached out to customer service via email. This one time, I did receive an email bot response a few hours later asking to please allow 3-5 business days for an update. An update or response never came. I followed up with another email and again, no response. I called customer service and was disconnected asking me to call back another day due to high call volume (seriously, you dont even have an option to wait for a customer service representative!). I have since sent multiple follow up emails to care@***.com with zero responses and get the same message when calling back daily to the customer service number provided on their website (1-80*-***-****). I have never had such issues and had to spend so much time and energy to deal with an online order. Here it is Feb 10th (54 days later) and I still have no response, update, or refund for the items I paid for that they never sent.

Resolved: Was triple charged for PSN card; got ticket # and promised refund, still waiting

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with full refund. The $150 was returned to my bank account today. I am satisfied with the resolution.

Right before Xmas I purchased a $75 PSN card. The card reader was acting funny but the employee managed to get it working. Walked out with card and receipt stating I had purchased only ONE card for $75. Checked my bank acct the next day and was shocked to see I had been charged THREE times for ONE card. Went back to the store I purchased the card from and they confirmed via my receipt I had only purchased ONE card. They appeared to call corporate, provided me with a ticket number and said they money would be refunded possibly as soon as that day or after the Xmas holiday. It is now 12/28 and NO refund. I attempted to contact GS customer service but after waiting on hold for over a half an hour, I could no longer wait on hold. My whole family spends a lot of $$$ at Gamestop but until this situation is rectified I will not spend one DIME at Gamestop!

I would love to talk to someone!! My store experience was out of this world!! I was in total shock at the language!! The tone and attitude on display of the employee . He raised his voice insulted me for asking a question which he replied it was not his job to have an answer to my question. Then told me he would not sell any items to me. The store manager 1 of 2 never stop him or ask him to stop. The same employee got into it with another customer which they started cussing in front of her 2 children the employee called her a ghetto *** !! Right in front of me, and said it was ok(employee)because they(customer) didn't hear him !! WHAT I spent over 500 and was treated very badly I even told employee I talk to you with respect didn't raise my voice and you were totally out of line!! over a simple question!! I told him for what you said what if your company had sent in a secret shopper you would have been fired and your manager for not telling you to stop. I wish I would have recorded it!!! It was way worse then I could explain in this email.

Some reason the driver was down in North Carolina and said my address mustve been wrong but on my orders on several my address is correct in Conneaut Ohio I have email from door dash taking responsibility for it an they gave you your money back and Ive been trying to get mine for Christmas back but no one returns my phone call or emails those were my sons Christmas gifts with no money left to my name they have nothing now and Christmas is ruin in my household Sadly Ive waited five days for answers Ive got through one time and the rep said look for email well Ive looked and still nothing Christmas Day is tomorrow at least return my money please customer service is next to impossible to get in touch with why should I still be waiting when youve gotten your money for the situation Im still left without I paid for next day delivery would like that refunded for all the games I selected the option for greatly appreciated

Missing order even from my order history

I placed an order 12/19/22 at 10am for a same day delivery to be delivered by 8pm 12/19/22. Well it has not been delivered. I can't even look up the order information. I keep getting an error message saying, "Sorry this order number or email or zipcode does not match our records. Check your records and try again." When I know for a fact, the info I'm entering is indeed correct. This order does not show and has not shown in my order history. The game I bought back in 2020 is now missing from my order history along with the points I had for purchasing that game. I have emailed gamestop 3 times. Sent them a chat message. And I have tried to call them several times with the automated system saying there's a 60+ minute hold and to call back tomorrow and then hanging up on me haha. I finally got through to their 1-80*-***-****, but have been on hold for 1:23:51. I don't care what kind of sales you have, it's not worth this bull. And you can bet I've already been charged for the game and the same day shipping. With my order no where to be found. Straight up ridiculous!!

Be careful when using the gamestop app. Made an order and noticed the delivery address was wrong, so i changed it to the correct address and placed the order. The next day i get a shipping email from gamestop saying the order had been shipped, but the delivery address was changed back to what it was before i changed it. Tried to get in contact with gamestop CS and they told me to reach out to USPS. I eventually got in touch with USPS, and they tell me they cant change anything and to call gamestop. The order was delivered to the wrong address so, and Gamestop doesnt answer their phone number or online chat window. I had to reach out on Facebook, and was told they would be sending a replacement and to look out for an email. That was about 2 weeks ago, and Ive received no email or package
