Paid in full and closed account. I’m still getting billed.

I closed this account due to unethical practices with Fuelman. This business is so shady with statements and customer services practices until its an embarrassment to ever apply with them. I wasnt able to log into my account to pay my and was always charged a $15 service fee when called in. I closed my account a month ago and today I received an urgent letter demanding a balance due. I am so confused with this business. I called customer services three times to resolve issues and I have been hung up on all three times. Im currently waiting for someone to answer the 4th call to them now while typing this note. How are these people still in business with reporting inaccurate information to the credit bureaus? I am so disgusted with the services Im getting and Im no longer using they ripped off cards.

They are a rip off! Charge fees that don't even apply, or cannot provide proof of why they are charging such outrageous fees!

Title: Highly Disappointed with Fuelman's Unreasonable Billing Practices Rating: (1/5) I recently had a terrible experience with Fuelman, which I feel compelled to share. The company charged me for a service that I did not receive, only to complicate matters further when the service station rectified their mistake and deleted the charge. Despite this, Fuelman adamantly refused to refund my account and insisted that I pay for a service I never received. In my frustration, I reached out to their finance department on numerous occasions with hopes of reaching a reasonable resolution. However, their representatives exhibited a complete lack of empathy and understanding, displaying an alarming eagerness to prioritize their own financial gains over providing satisfactory customer service. Fuelman's refusal to acknowledge their error and give credit where it was clearly due is simply unacceptable. It is disappointing to witness a company that blatantly disregards customer satisfaction and integrity. Such practices only serve to breed distrust and frustration among their clientele. In an industry where trust is paramount, Fuelman's actions reflect a glaring lack of professionalism and respect for its customers. Their insistence on causing undue financial burden by charging for services not rendered raises serious concerns about their business ethics. I cannot stress strongly enough the importance of avoiding Fuelman if you are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented fuel card solution. Their indifference towards their customers' legitimate grievances and stubbornness in rectifying their own mistakes leave a bitter taste in my mouth. I will be seeking an alternative fuel card providerone that values integrity and respects their customers' trust.

I'm sorry to say, but this company is terrible.

Don't waste your time. When I first was approved last year 2022, it took weeks to even get to utilize the card. They claim they had some type of issue with the system. I should have just left it alone then and there, but gave them a try anyway. The app is not user friendly. They give you the run around. I had a $4k limit that dropped to $2k bcuz i would always have a problem with the system when trying to pay. Today I tried to make a payment through the automated system, but it kept sending me back to customer service. I did not want to pay the $15 service fee. I was told automated was free. It literally sent me back to customers service 3xs this am. I do not have time for that. Just send it to collections. I'm fed up with this company. Shells Fleetcard is a breath of fresh air in comparison.

Because they are highly incompetent would not recommend

Zero stars, fuelman has been sending incorrect statement amounts for months. I finally just canceled because no amount of phone calls will correct. For 3 months I've asked for an itemized statement with location and fuel amounts showing how they came to that amount and I've showed them when I already paid for the correct amount. They have a 1 star rating for a reason

Charges exorbitant late fees

Charges exorbitant late fees. They even charged two late fees in one month. I carried a balance of $2171 and the late fee amount was $907 after being three days late.

They should just change their name to FEE Fueling. But like the rest of the comments mine are the same. Website not reflecting accurate billing, cant pay online been that way since at least 2.1.23 so you always have to call. They try and charge a $15.00 fee. You are always a high credit risk even above 700 score. Billing cycles are always wrong then charge you a fee for being late even though it shows a different date. Id stay away from this place, they are no good also if you are high credit risk expect to pay an additional .30 per gallon fee.

Horrible customer service

Seems to be a pattern. I have been locked out of my account twice now. I called 2 days ago and waited on hold for almost an hour waiting for the "correct department". I asked for someone to call me back as I don't have hours to wait on hold. I was told that was fine and no one ever called back. Just tried again, as now the payment is late. After 30 and being transferred 3 times I was told they couldn't discuss MY ACCOUNT with ME! I don't have the account number because they don't send paper bills. I asked them to send me a final paper bill so I can make the final payment and close the account. SHE SAID NO! This is the most ridiculous business model I have ever encountered. I am trying to pay the bill and can't. Please save yourself a lot of misery and do not use this company.

Class-action Lawsuit for Fraudulent prices

We have confirmed that on almost every occasion one month after changing the prices we paid, Fuelman increased the prices paid at the pump and overcharged us $530 in two months. Hang onto your receipts and compare to their statement to see if you were a victim of fraud as well. If so, please join us in a class-action lawsuit.

Run away from Fuelman

I had a hard time trying to make payments over the phone and online. They will never return your call. Only time you will receive a call about 2 months in saying you're behind on your payments. I was told I owe $1500 and I only owed them $300. I had to prove to them what I spent the month before so I want over charged!!!

The company has lied to me since before joining.

Marshetta English was the first person that I came in contact with. She harassed me constantly to sign up with the company. I asked her would I be on a 30 day billing cycle because I am an independent contractor and only get paid once a month. She assured me that it was a 30 day cycle so I agreed to join the company. In less than 2weeks after getting my card, I received a bill. She also told me that I would get 1 reward point for every gallon of gas. It turns out that they had me on a 14 day billing cycle which meant that a late fee is charged if the bill was not paid in 5 days after the due date. The late fee would exceed a $100 each time, I never received my reward points. Ms. English would not answer my calls or emails. The person that was supposed to be my account rep never reached out to me but lied and said she did but could never produce proof that she did. They would never return my calls or emails after this. I would call in and talk to multiple people and would always get a different answer from everyone I talked to. The company has rude people , I have been hung up on, yelled at been disrespected and just have not been shown any type of professionalism from anyone within the company. If I could give them less than a 1 star I would.

Poor customer service

My account was locked online because of a prior office worker leaving with password we submitted paperwork to get new administrator named but took 2 weeks Mailed check snail mail in the meantime Were charged late fee and moved to level 2 pricing because of this and no body would help me resolve this Terrrible company to do business with I will never use them again..

Card declined

I paid my bill, after 3 days when I tried to use the card, it declined and then I used my debit card of the money you did not take from my bank, then the next day the bank declined your payment because I used the money for fuel, I when back to Fuelman website and pay the remaining balance thinking that I am replacing the declined payment. What I did not like, you closed my card even after you saw that I paid more than it was due.

Will not respond back about there problem

The bill there sending us is incorrect and we have been trying to contact them to get it corrected but no one will respond back after our first in counter with customer services issue they were rude and not very professional.can't get bill corrected if they won't send out a corrected statement

Poor customer Service

Fuelman online payment system changed and no one in the customer service department had enough knowledge on how to give me access to my account to make payments. I was given 2 choices. 1st choice, pay my bill over the phone and be charged an extra $15 fee, or call back at a later date and still pay over the phone with a late fee. To make a long story short, that day it took the reps 2 hours to come up with that bright idea, so I requested to close the account because every encounter with this company takes hours to solve their very own issues. I paid my billed in full to proceed with the cancellation. I was connected to a manager who assured me that my account will be closed within a few days. After the close attempt, my business is receiving invoices on the account for payment. Now I'm back on the line with a rep who advised my account isn't closed, it's just locked, and I need to speak with customer service again. I have been holding almost an hour as I type this review. Please don't waste your time, this company is definitely not worth all the time wasted.
