Cancel

I have tried to cancel at the location and they told me to email so I did and yall are still charging me. I canceled because I cant afford it and now my account keeps going into the negative because I cant get yall to cancel it.

Lack of new equipment

Good evening, I have been a proud member of Riviera Fitness in Crestview, Florida for the last 6 years. Just recently, most of the free weight equipment has been removed to make room for the new equipment that was due to arrive last November. So far, some new machines and incline bench have arrived and are in place, but still nothing on the rest, the room is damn near empty. The flat benches were supposed to have arrived in mid-November but here we are, soon to be January 2020 and still nothing. The owner just gave me a lame excuse that something went wrong with the order and the new LifeFitness equipment haven't left the manufacturing facility in Europe. Gee, maybe she should have left the old free weights in place until the new ones arrived and maybe purchased equipment MADE IN THE U.S.A. instead of selling out to another country! There is absolutely no excuse for this and I would like an answer as soon as humanly possible. The individual that owns the place doesn't seem to care about her members and their needs, all she cares about is the money. I'm going to give her until January 31st, 2020 or I'm cancelling my membership, yes I'll pay the fees, I don't care and if this person doesn't care enough to run this gym, then people are going to flee. Facility havent not improved,equipment have been out of order for over 2 years.. maintenance is not been done on equipment as well. I want full cancelation of my membership

Refund promised and not delivered

I was bounced back and forth between paramount and the gym itself in order to get a refund. Both places are claiming the other is supposed to handle the refund. Still no refund. I did a "paid in full" account...BIG MISTAKE. When they called me yesterday they said nothing and then disconnected the line.

Won't answer letter about cancelling membership due to cancer treatments

My husband has prostate cancer and his Dr does not want him working out while on his radiation treatments. I have sent them the letter from the Dr. and requested them to cancel our membership and they have not written me back. I have read other online reviews about their cancellation process and it's NOT good at all. We never were given a copy of our contract that we signed so we do not know what we were even signing that day we joined. Hopefully they will acknowledge my letter soon with a response. Will NEVER join another health club.

Can't cancel gym membership-Crestview FL

I have been trying to cancel my gym membership with no avail. As a military member, on PCS orders, the only way to get out of the contract is to send my orders AND pay $100 cancelation fee. That is ludicrous. I told them I was moving in support of my husband's retirement orders taking us 23 miles away. I was told that they needed my lease, my utility bill and $100 cancelation fee and then they wouldn't accept it because we are 23 miles away (their mileages to cancel is 35). The only way apparently to cancel is to get a note from a doctor saying that you are not able to work out any longer. Not happy abut this, all I want is to get out of my membership (my new work has a gym plus a child center which helps out a lot).

Terrible service and Scam

My experience with this gym has been terrible. It all started late November 2018, when I changed from one location to one closer to where I live. I was paying $15 per month for my membership at Rivfitness. But when I changed to a different location my account went up to $25 per month on December 11, 2018. I spoke with the gym manager and he said he would call Paramount to make sure I get the difference owed. THAT NEVER HAPPENED! He said it would to a few days and because it was the week of New year's, it would take longer. So, on my next visit after New year's I checked my bank account and there was no reimbursement. I spoke to the manager again and he gave me the number to Paramount. When I called I was directed by phone to three different employees who said they would look into my account and see what the issue was and that they would call me back. I never got a call back from Paramount. Days later I was charged another $25 for January 2019. So, talk with the manager again and he had a bad attitude and asked if I just wanted to CANCEL my membership. Due to being fed up, I said "YES." That was my last day. Now it is February 2019 and I am still being charged another $25! I would not recommend anyone go to this gym anymore. I feel like I was just a number and have been brushed asside and taken advantage of.

WHAT SERVICE!!!!!!! There was NO SERVICE seems so Fishy going on it like they want to LOCK you in with them Forever even when you want Out.....

Don't sign up!

They allow you to sign up for membership in the office but you have to call a number to cancel. They have sent my husband to collections because they say that he never called and canceled except that he did.

Crooks!!!

Have been trying to cancel a membership for over 6 months. I’ve followed all the rules, sent the cancellation email 6 times and they keep lying saying they are not getting them. They continue to charge my account. I am a college student and not in town to use the membership. These people are crooks and liars. I will never go back to them or send anyone their way!!!
