Help me connect to my wifi account

Lost foscam camera connection to my wifi. Contacted the customer service department and they responded with curticy and professionalism

Customer support requires credit card info???

When I was able to talk to a customer support person to ask my question about camera set-up I was told that unless I provided my CC information I would not be able to get any help or support to set up the cameras I had just purchased from them. I refused to provide the info and will look for other means of trying to solve my problem. It would be one thing if the set-up instructions provided were use-friendly or helpful but they are very vague and assumes too much. I do not consider myself an expert but somewhat tech competent.

Cannot connect camera

Wont connect to xfinity, I disabled 5.0 ghz, Reset camera, no voice heard Stars to connect then after about 25% stops and says wont connect Network password entered correctly

Your camera are junk and you're customers support sucks

I been having problems with them andget no support. I am filling a complaint with the better business burial .

Will not open the connection page

loaded software and found ip address. clicked on ip address and page populate to download plugins .the user is established as : admin and password is blank. can't get by this point to access camera set up menu. will not accept the setup password or cant access setup page without using a password. the model is the FI9803P. I have reset the camera numerous times and realized the same results.

Worthless customer service and worthless products

Any request for helpAny request for help from this company are absolutely 100% worthless frustrating! I bought for worthless spotlight cameras at $400 a pop and cant get the pieces of garbage to work properly and no one there cares! Worthless product and worthless company!

FOSCAM are you kidding me?

I purchased an outdoor camera with some great capabilities. The description does not say that you need the cloud service for any of that. Nor does it say it on the box or any paperwork it came with. I get it installed to find out that the most important capabilities won't work without purchasing cloud service. THEN I go online to get help from a live agent to be routed to an expert service that wants payment up front to help me. seriously?

After years of trouble, Im done with Foscam

I have had the same camera with Foscam for around 5 years. The app, video review, web interface and related software are all crap. They cant figure out why im missing seconds of images prior to an "event" on every event. I get an error message that says "sometimes your camera doesn't have connectivity" The wifi on the camera sucks so I had to fish a cat5 through the house to my modem. The only issue with connectivity that I have with anything on my network is the camera itself. It never gets unplugged, i have UP and DL speeds of 24mb & 485mb with no other problems elsehwere. Foscam wants me to jump through hoops and become a computer genius to port this, ip that, sign in here, sign in differently here, reset the camera thats outside and required a ladder, reset the camera again, change log in credentials and blah blah blah. Its a circus and i am over it. I demanded my 24hr 365 day cloud storage to be refunded for the remaning unused year though i should be asking for a complete refund considering how much labor and IT work I have done on their behalf, multiple times mind you, and the fact that for years now my play back has been plagued by the previously mentioned gaps in recording that are essential for reviewing. WHy pay 100% for something that doesn't work 100% of the time? DO NOT BUY FOSCAM. They might be cheaper and now you know why... just like TMobile.. you get what you pay for. Shop elsewhere, you've been warned.

Activation error

Im using the proper id and password but it keeps telling me it's wrong.

I have 3 of your cameras in service from a different app. Is it possible to use the same original app for these new cameras? With the new app I'm having trouble connecting.

Package lost

FedEx delivered package to wrong address. Damn right im *** pissed fuckthe *** where is the *** i paid for and waited on over a week just for it to be given to a stranger and now I'm being ignored

N 300 set up

I purchased a Foscam N300 to use as either a second router or access point to receive better WIFI for my simplisafe security cameras. My internet service is through Verizon using an Actiontec GT 784WNV modem/router combination. My windows system is Windows 10. I would connect from the existing wifi modem/router to the N300 using an ethernet cable. Which is better to set the N300 as an additional router connected to my Verizon modem/router and than have the cameras use that SSID or would you recommend using the N300 as an access point so the camera's would choose which one would have the stronger signal. As an access point all my wireless devices would work with both the verizon modem/router and the N300. I am not a novice at wifi set up.

Troubleshooting new camera

at foscam...no one wants to talk to you,, they want to email only but that's not customer service...that's avoiding the customer.. i will never buy foscam product again and will make sure everyone knows about them.

Dns gone ???

I was using "fu9213.myfoscam.org:85" to access my foscam webcam model FI8918W from the internet per the label on the bottom of the webcam. The camera is hardwired to a router using eth cable. This used to work. It stopped. Now i get errors saying it can't connect. windows diag says......"your DNS server might be unavailable". What ??? This was working fine for the past couple months. My router and internet work fine. I have rebooted a million times. Manufacturers DDNS is enabled in the IPcamera software settings and the manufacturers domain is "9213.myfoscam.org". What happened ? Did you kill that DDNS access site ?
