2007 Ford Ranger

Hey its a good problem to have i have a Ranger that at this time has 560,000 miles i use it for a company vehicle so i drive it a lot of miles i bought it in 2009 when it had 30k. It runs like it is brand new because i take care of it, and it helps i take it of the road every August when i go on vacation for yearly maintiance. I am going to retire next year so i dont think it will make a million miles but who knows we are going to retire togather. CLASS SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT

FORD MOTOR COMPANY I just learned of the above cited class action regarding Ford's DPS6 Dual-Clutch Automatic Transmission. I have current problems with said components. As such, and to the extent necessary, Ralph Schomp Ford Dealer said to me that they wouldn't replace the clutch or any other transmission components when I had my TCM recall issue attended too. World Ford of Pensacola

I purchased a new Ford F-150 at World Ford of Pensacola May 9th, 2023. The experience was not a fun ride. So today, July 27th, almost three months later and after two temporary vehicle plates, I am now using the dealerships dealer plate because this dealership can not register my vehicle accurately. They have now lost the paperwork and are in the midst of refilling the paperwork and having me resign again. Once they redo the paperwork they are sending it to me for signature. The dealership is sending me the check also for the registration fee and now I am bringing the paperwork to the department of motor vehicle services to get the new plates. They have no idea how long it will take to redo the paperwork. I have literally purchased eight Ford pickups over my lifetime and this experience has pushed me to go to my friends Chevrolet dealership and trade this new F150 in for a Chevrolet. This experience is a nightmare and even to this day have I had any correspondence from a sales manager or even the general manager. Hopefully this complaint is investigated and not covered up because as a consumer this is a big ticket purchase and not even any concern from anyone at this dealership has resulted.

I tried to figure out why a dealership did not order my van when I went to the dealership on for 4/10/2023 and I had not heard from them so I called them only to find out they hadnt even ordered the van and told me I couldnt have gotten it anyway even if they had ordered it because Ford is not making those vans anymore

Hi, I am on my sixth brand new Ford vehicle in 12 years. Out of the vehicle I am on my third Ranger since 2019. This is in regards to my current 2021 Ranger; VIN 1FTER4FH2MLD83184 and my Member ID: 122638****. The color of my truck is Cactus Gray. I know I can purchase a tube of touchup paint; however, I have found that the touchup paints do not match real well. I am in need to a small sample no larger that a 2" x 2" sent to me if possible please. I am working on a color match to possibly paint my living room this color. So the product that I was referring to the vavoline zerex american vehicle prediluted 50/50 mix orange colored. 2hy did every parts store on line looking at this product and putting in my car info and said straight up this does not fit your vehicle, but on line orileys...

Motorcraft coolant what color and type 2020 Ford fusion se 1.5. I need your help or thoughts on an issue. My has 36000 miles on it and I flushed the yellow factory coolant and drained and put new zerex coolant orange color in the system . So here issue I need help with . I went to orileys auto parts and they didn't have any Ford coolants, so they told me to this zerex american vehicle prediluted 50/50 mix orange color. So I had the done and filled with the zerex. The day I went on line 5o several parts store and when I clicked on the zerex product and entered my car info it would say this does not fit your vehicle. Any of the parts stores walmartetc.. what's funny is at orileys on lineni clicked on the same product and entered car in and it said this fits your vehicle. So I'm confused now and looked into. Little more and went straight to vavoline zerex company and clicked on the same product and it says this does not fit your vehicle... So I spoke to zerex and the guy 5old me he would use that product my 2020. So do I the I have the wrong product in my car. Also if you know the answer to why most auto parts stores say this product does not fit your vehicle including zerex. Bot the only one that says it fits my car is orileys where I bought. So I just don't feel comfortable with product no one has been able to answer as to why it's says doesn't fit my vehicle including zerex. I just need to know if this product is ok in the car not. Please help concerned Ford owner .so for being long winded but wanted 2ho ever reds to understand where I'm coming from. Thank

Case # CAS-4377****-H0M7M7 - Customer Satisfaction Program 21N03

This is Travis Hendricks and we've been advised Pamela Jones of Ford had been assigned to Case # CAS-4377****-H0M7M7. 2018 Ford Expedition VIN# 1FMJU1KT1JEA13622 Our Expedition has been at Prosper Ford for over a week, and we are seeking resolution to payment for a Cam Phaser Replacement issue. They have diagnosed and submitted a case for this known issue, and it sounds like a diesel engine when starting every time. We've had this vehicle properly serviced at Ford dealerships since it was new, and hope to get this issue fixed soon. We recently went over 70K miles, but are under 80K and according to documents attached Ford should cover 66% of this $3800 Repair. Per Customer Service agents, Pamela has reviewed and offered to pay only $1500 which is not 66% as stated in the official documents attached. PS - We've recommended the Expedition to 6 friends & family over the last several years, and they've all bought one :o) I'm a LOYAL F350 owner of 20+ years, and am hoping this is a factor in taking care of this problem for us. Please call if needed, I'm available anytime @ 512-970-**** Customer Satisfaction Program 21N03. We DID have the PCM Update done @ 5 Star Ford Dallas, program 21B10 prior to Dec 31st, 2021. This is documented at Sam Pack Ford of Dallas, where we bought the vehicle new and have had serviced there during most of our ownership. SSM 48272 - 2***-*018 F-150, 2018-**** Expedition/Navigator - 3.5L EcoBoost - Ticking/Tapping Or Rattle Type Noise On Start Up After A Cold Soak Attached documents on the issue, with Supplements. Some 2017-**** F-150s built on or before 10-Jul-2018 and 2018-**** Expedition and Navigator built on or before 8-Apr-2019 with 3.5L EcoBoost may exhibit tick, tap, or rattle type noises from top of engine front cover for 2-5 seconds after a cold start. A TSB is expected to be published late 4th quarter 2019. In the interim, replace all 4 VCT units and update the PCM calibration. Do not replace other cam drive related components unless inspection identifies a concern. Refer to the Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 303-01. Claim labor replaces VCTs using published labor operations and PCM programming using M-time. Part availability is currently limited. Trying to understand Ford's failure to support a defective product

I acquired a 2018 Ford Edge Titanium with only 9000 miles in 2021. I performed routine and required maintenance since ownership. Last month with an expired warranty, (five years from manufacture or 60000 miles, whichever comes first) and only 37000 miles I noticed I have had to replace a lot of coolant and did not notice any leakage on my garage floor or anywhere else I parked the car. Then a misfire prompted me to get a "check engine light" evaluated. The code suggested that an ignition coil was bad. Upon further investigation, it was revealed to me why the coolant was being used...a cracked cylinder block between 2 and 3. This was all obtained over the internet, not from FORD. So I called Ford, and because it was out of warranty, they offered no assistance. REALLY!? So, I dumped the car for a pittance of what I paid in 2021, with full disclosure at CARMAX. I want to know why I was not notified of this problem, but continually notified of other insignificant recalls. I am a 75 year old Vietnam vet and have owned many Ford products...never AGAIN. PISSED

2023 escape PHEV

We just purchased a 2023 PHEV3 days ago there is no owners manual included with a $50,000 purchase. The wife and I are in our early 70s and without an owners manual. This car is totally confusing. The only thing I can do is take it back to the dealer and get our money back. I need an owners manual as soon as possible.

2018 Ford F150 Platinum Diesel

I have always had good luck with Ford/Lincoln. I waited for years for this vehicle, when I first heard of the proposed Lion Diesel. Still love that aspect. My issue is with repair costs. I was annoyed when rear brake calipers failed, sprayed brake fluid all over rear wheel at 50K miles, and that was potentialy dangerous. But I ate that cost without complaint. Things happen and we didn't have an accident. What really boggles my mind is the recent broken A/C hose. Again, things happen, but $1150 to replace a hose and refill system??? What in the *** is this about? I have 2 BMW's, my 1999, purchased new has had ONE mechanical failure, a wheel bearing, that cost me under $100. My wife's X5 has over 100k miles with no mechanical repairs and only one electrical repair which was caused by a service mistake. Our 2013 mini coper has yet to have an issue. The truck, with the lowest mileage is more expensive than all the others to maintain COMBINED with just these two issues. The cost of the "luxury brands" to own and maintain is drastically cheaper than this Ford. You are driving your customers away with these outrageous costs for what should be a cheap repair

Ford has been back ordered for two years now on failed TCMs for various models, they promised me $1,000.00 as a goodwill payment because our car had been out of services for over a year and a half and has renegedand the rep working with me has disappeared and won't anwser calls or emails.

False advertising by a Ford Dealership

I found a car I wanted to purchase from Peoria Ford in Peoria AZ over the internet under Cargurus. I called the dealership and told them I wanted to purchase the car and they said great let me send you over the purchase details. All of a suddent the advertised price of 18,888 went to $22,111.90. When I asked how this is possible they said that the 18,888 didn't include the repair costs it put into the car. In additioin they added fees of 539.90 when I asked about that they said this is normal even though I was planning on picking this car up. I feel this dealership is dealing with bait and switch which is very illegal. How do you let your dealerships operate like this. This is a text book case of false advertising which makes me to not want to purchase Ford products. How disappointing.

Dealership Service Department-Corporate Does Not Care

Long-Lewis Ford has left me stranded in Prattville, Alabama, 600 miles from my residence, for over 6 weeks due to my 2018 F150 having a battery drain issue. In January, they replaced the battery due to the same issue, which has gotten progressively worse. I do have an Extended Service Plan, which is supposed to provide a rental vehicle, according to the dealership one will not be provided unless there is a diagnosed issue. I contacted a representative of the Service Plan who told me in an emergency situation such as this the dealership should contact them for a rental, currently is no record of this taking place. They have had my vehicle for the 3rd time, since April 12. They have made no effort to contact with updates. When I took the vehicle to them there were warning lights on the dash, charge system fault have vehicle checked immediately, anti lock brake fault, hill assist fault, I left the vehicle running when arrived. I do have the Ford Pass app, the warnings remained until Monday, April 17, which is when I called for an update. The Service Advisor, Noah, told me they had found nothing as yet, he would call between 3-4 p.m., as in other instances, no call. I had rented a vehicle, since they had my vehicle April 5 -11, the battery was dead April 12, I had no food. I am 15 miles out of town at a campground, on my own, not knowing anyone, I did not have a choice. Since I had not heard from the Service Advisor I decided to return the rental, at a cost of $327, went to service for an update, there was none. Valuable lesson for me: 1st mistake I bought a Ford Truck, 2nd mistake bought the worthless Extended Service Plan, 3rd having trust Ford would do the right thing. It is no wonder Ford ranks among the worst in JD Power customer service survey, which came out March 9, 2023. Ford Corporate Customer Care (should be Do Not Care) has been of no help either, their advice "continue to work with the dealer".

To this day I still do not have my car they told me another date that came and passed that was last week and back to not knowing again now they're also telling me that they can't get a side mirror working another safety feature that's not working but I guess I'm even...

I was in an accident on March 30th and to this day I'm still waiting for my vehicle cuz I'm an airbag they won't release it they won't give me a rental car they will do nothing. I lost two jobs cuz of this missed a court date in Columbus so I have a warrant for my arrest. They won't give me a rental. Now I'm annoyed to be homeless asBUY TOYOTA bu Never regret well. Thanks Ford. That's my first and last time I buy Ford anything. I shoulda have stayed with Toyota. Works never have this problem with them. FML Well here's a little update it's November 11th now this is how terrible for was for me all the issues that I had other than you know or besides the fact that I waited for almost 5 months get a car back with no rental reminds you I was newly disabled I couldn't work so I got $700 car payment and friends and all that and it's just trying to make ends meet was bad enough none of the issues got fixed *** they didn't even put a Ford symbol back on the bumper and they shouldn't because you know I it's embarrassing talk about how pathetic of a manufacturing company for automobiles they screwed up my electrical so damn bad it would start on its own and that's not with a timer on the Ford pass or anything like that you didn't even really need a key fob transmission garbage slipping gears they made the car worse every time they touched it if it was in sport mode oh my God it would rev up if I hit the gas it would drive up to almost 6,000 RPMs I thought the thing was going to blow up the engine it was terrible it was loud rattly not to mention they said they put all this new stuff on like seats and fenders and quarter panel no it was all chipped up they couldn't even match their own colors I mean it what the f are they doing gave me a cracked windshield back now mind you this was all supposed to be paid for through the insurance company which it was I never got my blind spot sensors that didn't work and when it did work it was when there was no cars around and when there was somebody in my blind spot it wouldn't work I didn't trust that thing I almost got me into a couple of accidents just going off for technology well cuz of all these damn problems and really anybody could start it didn't wouldn't lock it would unlock itself car actually got stolen now because of zero help from them like a rental car would have kept me from being buried financially it would have helped a lot I couldn't pay my insurance that month it lapsed a little bit and of course that's when it got stolen I live in Ohio the car was found in South Carolina and I am just screwed that car was the worst thing ever happened to me it basically ruined my life I don't think I can ever really fully recover from that financially especially with all my medical problems I can't get another car I live in Cleveland I need a I'm going to freeze to death I can barely move I got lung problems and emphysema and potentially in my hand cancer I'm still waiting to work for that I have to go for us to get scoped from so they really just basically ruined my life I sent them letters I've called customer service to something you know like I know a lot of people had problems and they were going through it too but I'm sure those people most of them will be able to bounce back I don't have that much time on this planet to bounce back and I don't know how to cuz I can't go back to work you think I can take myself out of *** from social security getting some food stamps I would much rather that car just blew up with me in it at least then I wouldn't be tortured like I am and having to suffer so if anybody from Ford's out there if you guys have a soul any of you pencil pushers up there it'd be really nice if you can help someone instead of just helping yourselves or no one and not to mention during the whole process of trying to recover my car track it when I got Wi-Fi and the things are walking modem you guys won't even tell me where my car is at after it was stolen it's a it's a computer it's a giant computer giving off signals you guys contract that car instead you wouldn't tell me but would tell the police department way after the fact so they'd be able to send gas station well that ain't going to help when you tell them 12 hours later how can my car have Wi-Fi but you don't know where it's at I almost felt like this company purposely was trying to throw every roadblock from mechanically to where it was at physically so what I would buy another Ford funny found on road dead the reason why people say that
