Non-existent Customer Service

I had ordered some food one evening, and because of a glitch that occurred between the app and the mobile banking app where I make the payment, the payment was doubled. When I contacted the customer service centre, they ensured me they will look into it. Instead, my case got closed without any explanation. I kept contacting customer support with proof with two banking reference numbers that TWO payments had indeed gone through, and asking them to look into it. The "customer support" just kept giving dummy answers like "your case is being handled", "rest assured, your case is being escalated", etc. Finally a few months later I got my refund. But still, horrible experience.

無故將本人拉進黑名單並取消本人foodpanda Pro

本人於2023年7月31日買了foodpanda Pro(有email圖片作實)於今天晚上,大約9:30第一次使用,開啟foodpanda 立即把我登出,把我帳號刪除,重新登入後,foodpanda Pro已自動取消,並且把本人手提電話無故封鎖,客戶服務完全不處理,只說電腦沒有顯示本人有買過foodpanda Pro, 客戶服務人員Sandy C一直拖延時間,要求我買一個新號碼再申請,請問你面電腦出錯的事情,為什麼要由客人自己重新給錢買一個新號碼,再重新買一次foodpanda Pro? 本人用支付寶香港購買foodpanda Pro,還有扣帳記錄 另一個客戶服務員 Yeng P更過分!一直拖延時間完全不處理,叫我申請另一個號碼,之後突然單方面完結事件,還顯示已處理? 這是foodpanda 這間公司高層,教導員工這種把責任推卸給客人的處理方法? 還是員工做錯不處理,沒有人知道,敷衍了事,就可以了?

Foodpanda is a scam !

They take your money, deliver the food to someone else, and then claim you have received it. They even claim that the delivery guy has made a photo - but they refuse to show me the photo. I ordered food at 6:30pm - I finally received the food at 9:25pm, i.e. 3 hours later. No apology, no refund, no nothing. Help desk is a joke (automated responses only). I spent almost 3 hours on the phone and with their useless help-desk to get this resolved. What a nightmare. All I wanted to have was a simple quick dinner!

On 09.07.2023 around 19:20, I ordered from Cafe-de-Corel through Foodpanda, a serve of baked pork chop rice and a red-bean ice drink. The order no. was b4an efei. And the total bill was $95.50. But when the delivery came, it only had the former, but not the latter. You think its fair to pay $95.50 for a cold drink?

Worst costumer service

I have always been a loyal customer who never complained much, i do rather wait than complain. However the only time I decided to complain and get a refund, because I was in a rush, your company decided its a waste and cant be refunded. You should have thought about that before lying to your customer about the pick up timing, I was already patient and waited for a while in that hot weather when it was stated the pick up would be in 10 minutes. What pissed me off even more was that the customer service staff decided to just close the chat without coming to a satisfactory resolution. What is your companys point with service staff? To *** you customer even more, is that what you pay them for?

I was Stolen

The Pizza Hut / Foodpanda DID NOT DELIVER THE ORDER , they keep postponing the delivery and never really delivered!!! After more than 01 hour, after request my delivery , I requested to cancel my order !!! I want to be refund the money that I payed!!! I DID NOT REALLY RECEIVE ANYTHING. I WAS STOLEN. Staff refused to deliver the order

Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to report a delivery refusal of one of your staff members and request an explanation on it. My order was confirmed at 9:12 am and now at 11:47 am I am still waiting. Your staff member with phone number (9022 ****) refused to deliver to my address, saying he needed to keep an eye on his car. Then I received several phone calls asking me if I cancelled my order while I repeated I did not. I had to postpone my appointments because of you staff members awful attitude. Your online customer service also had no service at all, refused to provide me the email address for reporting the case and just cut me off. I request an explanation on this.

Repeated order needs to be canceled

When I placed an order on 6th June, the app showed that I have not paid, so I paid again. But then the restaurant called me that I had repeated order. And they didn't prepare the redundant order. Then I contacted food panda, their CS called me and verify the repeated order, they said that canceled order will be refunded. Yet up till today no refund has been made. SO I live chat with foodpanda, the cs said no.refund will be made as the restaurant prepared the food. The truth is the restaurant never prepared the repeated order.

App is bugged and Bad Customer service.

"I recently had ordered a delivery which told me it takes 20 min max to be delivered from the app. I notice the progress bar wasn't moving after 15 min and was asking where was my order and there was no proper respond and was told it was being prepared. Then the time changed to another 20-40min wait for delivery, which I didn't have the time to wait because I had a meeting in 45 min and I already waited 20-30min by then. So I wanted to cancel the order. But the app had disabled the "Cancel my order option" so I was chatting to customer service, and they keep telling me it's on its way, but the app says different. So after about 45 min wait when the app changed to picked up order, they give you another option in their app which doesn't help you at all. But then the customer service said "I have cancelled your order, but there will be no refund. This I have argued, they still won't refund while it is their app's fault and this company is an SCAM. It is their own problem and their customer service try to blame you and charge you and the customer service person keep wanting to get away, It does help. "Please wait, let me check" and "Is there anything else I can help you with" constantly and a day later, they just give say "case resolved". So the customer had lost their time, their lunch and get charged. This had happened the 2nd time now. DO NOT USE FOODPANDA

Food Panda order with Tai Hing - Delivery has never happened, and no refund

I ordered Food Panda with Tai Hing; I was trying to taste some Cantonese food. Food Panda said the driver would deliver my order in 30 mins. Then, 25 mins later, Food Panda said they cancelled my order without any refund. Because Tai Hing had accepted my order, their customer service (Tan K and Kayli Y) kept asking how can he helps me. I said I requested a refund for my Tai Hing order because the food was never delivered as promised. I asked for proof that Tai Hing had accepted my order. He didn't explain and then close our conversation.

I always knew foodpanda had terrible customer service as they outsource all customer service related matters to callers in overseas. However, upon my most recent experience with them, I discovered just how much of a scam this company is, and the fact that the people who run foodpanda allow their customer service (CS) to be run this way is pretty telling just how much they actually care for their customers (- not at all). I placed a pickup order with a restaurant I frequent close to home, but for some reason was shown a branch two districts away and didnt notice till after the order had been placed. Why they would even show me a restaurant nowhere close to me is baffling so I figured it must be an issue with the apps geolocation. Upon checking in with their CS to let them know of the issue, I quickly learned they werent intent on solving this issue for me. They informed me that the order had already been made so they told me to pick it up myself to avoid wastage. Upon trying to explain how this order came to be, I was met with rather robotic responses about how they dont offer full refunds (even though this error was entirely the fault of the app) and was told the same few answers over and over again to different questions. In fact the agent even ended the chat whilst I was still talking to them. I figured Id email their CS team but lo and behold, the same issue took place. I feel completely scammed by foodpanda, and upon reading all the other reviews, I can now see this is a common practise. How they are still allowed to be running is beyond me. I think its also pretty telling that their HK IG account restricts its followers from commenting on their posts to prevent hearing any real feedback from their customers. Ill definitely be sticking with deliveroo going forwards inspite of their higher platform fees. At least they dont scam their customers out of money and have real people behind their CS team who care about their customers. Seems like Foodpanda customer service only care about taking money from you.
