Balance

does anyone know what a credit to balance charge is ? also first progress is unreliable, their site is completely out of date and not user friendly. i would definitely not recommend it.

Been almost a year before I got my refund of 200 dollar deposit just to be *** around and can't even cash there check. They Wana waste more of my time and say I have to fax my information to be able to cash there check to get my money. What a joke. I warn everyone I can your company is a joke all foreign people that barely speak a lick of English

THEY DO NOT TELL CORRECT INFOMATION

I closed account 2months later I'm being charges 158 plus extra late fee. after I was told there no balance due. I do not recommend anyone to this company

Horrible customer service

I was explaining my issues to a representative named Martin, and would chuckle and give me attitude. So I just closed my account. I'm trying to get issue fixed without being humiliated as I already so many issues in my life already. I get that you don't enjoy your job but don't be rude.

Closed acct

I closed my account on May 10th 2023. I was told i would receive my $1000 security deposit in July. I called on July 11th to check status of my check. I was told the account was closed but the rep did not put in request for my security to be returned for additional 10 wks. I asked it it could be expedited as this was no fault of my own. I called back 3 days later rep told me to fax my name, account number, when my account was closed and request security check be expedited. I have faxed this information 7 times and its failed every time. So now i have reached out to Consumer Financial Protection Bureau

Robbery

This company had me pay 100 for the credit. When I received my card, I wait about 2 weeks before I tried to make a purchase and it declined. The company only gave me a $25 spending limit out of $100, but When I called and asked about my credit, I was told that an annual fee was $50. If that was the case, I should be -25 and not -50. Plus, the company still has $50 more dollars that belong to me. The rep tried to lie and tell me that my balance has always been $100, if that was the case I would still have $50 which was a lie. I asked them to close the account. The rep told me that I would have to fax in a form or my money would take 10 weeks for me to receive my funds, I tried to fax that request for two days straight, but the number stayed busy. Go figure!

This company is committing fraud

After countless hours, they are refusing to take ownership of the error that they made as a company and not reopen my account, which is severely impacting my credit score. You're not under any circumstance work with this terrible company!

With no phone call email or letter they closed both of my accounts without telling me. Wasn't until I used a card that I had to call in to which I was told that they sent a "identity verification" letter in the mail to the wrong address, and it was sent not certified! I have called over 10 times and spent hours on the phone, sending faxes fighting them to re-open both of the accounts, and now my credit score is absolutely decimated because of THIER ERROR!!! This company is a bunch of criminals they don't care about people, and they treat people like numbers.

Being charged late payment

Me and my wife both have accounts and always send our payments together. Our payments our always via mail. Our usps tracking shows it got to you guys Friday the day before the payments were due. We never had an issue but now that's over $250 in money orders your holding and charging us $29 for late fees how? I'm really considering closing our accounts we don't get our monthly statements never. It's always something with first progress. So my question is we know you received our payments before the due dates wheres our money and are you really going to steal our money? Update 6/30/2023 so still no money on my account call them twice got the same to people a brain or Ryan very rude unprofessional. Then his floor lead/ manager Stacy 2 days in a row both of them no concerns about my issues they cashed my wife's money order and updated her account and removed the late fee. They're screwing with me because I complained... All people gotta do is their job you can't get that anywhere almost now!!!

Me and my wife Always pay by mail this company now 3 times have tried to charge us on hers and mines accounts late fees saying they didn't get it. Having me go out fax them a copy saying it was delivered Because I Always have tracking. Just a total inconvenience and unnecessary hoops you go through making a payment. I'm really considering closing both accounts hers and mines. Our bill was due on the 24th it was delivered on the 22nd why offer this payment option if your only not going to do your job and process people payments. SCAM ALERT... So done with crooked company's trying to weasel a dollar

Question about payment

Horrible I was told my account was closed and it has been over 10 weeks and I haven't received my refund I called twice the guy said he sent my information so my refund could be expedited then I call and she told she did the same thing and told me to write a letter to first progress and I'm confused why would I have to do that when I closed my account in April he told me everything went through I will never recommend first progress to anyone and I need my refund from first latitude cause I'm dealing with a company that is unorganized. I no longer want that card due to the fact my issue hasn't been resolved!!!

Just their communication sucks.

CLOSED MY ACCOUNT FOR NO REASON, I had them for 2 years, always paid my bill on time or early. One day I received a letter saying they wanted my bank statement that I use to pay my bill, or they would shut my account down. Well, this notice came very late, so I called in, and the representative acted like he had an attitude, saying that the paper I received should tell me everything I need to know. I had to get smart and tell him if the paperwork explained what the issue was, I wouldn't be calling in. He couldn't give me a reason why the verification was needed. However, he told me to fax the documents over. I did so. Then I checked my online account, saw it was closed down. I saw they applied my deposited to my card and I had a credit they owe me in the amount of 200.00. Received another letter saying that, my account was closed because I never verified my bank statement that I know I faxed over. I'm still waiting on my money they owe me.

Unreliable

I have paid my past due amount early so I could pay a few bills only to find out that it takes 10 days for it to post on my account. Wtf is its all about? How when it was deducted from my Pnc bank account does it take so long for it to post on First Progress? This cant be a real bank? Or are Youll juggling the money first before you post it to an account? Im done with this Credit Card. Its way too much BS

Where's my credit card

I'm Charmaine Jones and I paid $19.95 for expedition of my process and deposited my full security deposit with my personal debit card and still waiting going on three weeks now for my secured credit card. I checked the status of my application and it hasn't changed yet, stating my application is being processed still. No emails updates and it states that my account was created on the 11th of April, but your policy states that three days after approval/account creation my card would be sent out,well it's been over a week since and still no carsld has arrived. So why Scam/charged me $19.95 for nothing ? Where's my card. You've had my money for over two weeks now ( April 5,2023 )
