Faulty product

Hello, I am contacting you regarding a faulty detector purchased on Amazon on December 28 2020. The detector is chirping 3 times each minute. It is located in our living room not near any source of heat, humidity etc. Replacing batteries does not help. Attached are photos front and back and proof of purchase. Help with malfunctioning safe

I never received the email with the information to fill out to fix my safe. I was on hold for 45 minutes I assumed because thats kinda a smart thing to do to keep people from easily getting safe codes but even after all that they were supposed to send me an email with a paper to take to a notary and fill out but Ive never received the email and I gave up today after an hour on hold

10 year alarm cost much more than a standard smoke alarm, last just over a year, and battery cannot be replaced. Look it up online and the problem is widespread. This company is a ripping off customer

I'm very disappointed. Very poor quality. First Alert fire alarm Model M7020BSLA

I'm very disappointed. Very poor quality. I'm in a new New house, all alarms just over 1 year old installed by builder, clenched and all. We have 2 alarms malfunctioning. Model M7020BSLA complete junk, It says it lasts 10 years but not true. Our friend in the same neighbourhood had 3 alarms fail after 1 year.

I have not received a few things I ordered on line for Xmas gifts 1; a golf pad game , its fairly big. 2. Head band ball thingy. Bracelet ( butterfly). All no shows . They say the head band ball arrived in Poland!! Is this true?

Defective Carbon Monoxide Alarm

I purchased 3 smoke alarms and 2 carbon monoxide alarms from the First Alert online store. The Carbon Monoxide Alarms were model CO400. I paid more than 43.00 dollars for the alarms. The first one I opened didnt work at all. I tried different batteries and reread the entire product information/directions for the second time. Not only did it not sound at all, the test alarm button seemed not to be connecting at all. I opened the second alarm. It worked immediately after putting the battery in. The test button was functioning like it should. I closely inspected the 2 alarms side by side. I noticed markings from a Sharpie or pen that were different on each alarm inside the battery compartment. It appears I was sent 2 alarms that had been refurbished and one of them still wasnt working. I paid for brand new alarms. I received refurbished alarms. I have called the 1 800 number provided but was not able to get a person but instead a voicemail option. I have emailed the email address provided in my purchase receipt email. This is a complete hassle trying to contact customer service over and over. I have a worthless used alarm that doesnt work. I purchased what was to be a brand new product. Poor business practice makes me not trust any items I purchase from First Alert. My familys safety is at risk with crap products from First Alert.

Trying to get a refund on a Garanteed item

Company was most helpfull regarding a smoke and carbon monoxide alarm that developed a fault. We eventualy didint continue because we were asked to provide complete bank details with phone number and address over the internet. We were not happy in doing this therefore didnt continue.

2 failed smoke detectors

Bought a P1210 and a P21210e. Both lasted just over a year. Started alarming when there was no smoke/fire. Had to be deactivated. Could not reach FA support. Big waste of money.

Poor Quality

Purchased a P1210 in early 2018 - started beeping (end of life) in April 2021. I was foolish enough to think that this was an isolated incident. I purchased another, and now it is May 2022 and that one is beeping ( end of life). After reading other reviews, I see that First alert has been aware of these problems for years and has done nothing to improve their product. I will never purchase a First Alert product again.

False alarm

I parked my van 2 days ago after a 300 mile over night trip. Never used any gas equipment. Parked it, got up and went to work yesterday. Came home and heard a faint beep and opened van and the talking alarm said to leave. No gas smell and it's a 2017 model. I should have another 5 yrs. Disarmed it and no re-arming it.

P1210 does not provide promised life

Bought five at Costco. None made it past four years, let alone the advertised 10 year life. Very disappointed.

10 yr p1210...dead after 4.5 yrs. Supposed to last 10 really? Mfg 7/19/2017 installed 10/22/2017..tried to call re & all you get are recorded ads. ..

Complaint!!! 10 battery died in 4.5 yrs...tried to call company & all I got was recordings & ads...I did Not kbow I had to keep the receipt & cldnt get in touch with anyone anyway. Inow have to go ourchase a new alarm!

Defective first alert model p1210

purchased 2 of these at costco 6 feb 16. they both started acting up 20 jan 18. beeping sound and occasion light flashing through out day and night. one flashes occasion during the night so bright it wakes me up. of course if your some alarm flashes how can you go back to sleep. i agree, the 9 volt battery alarms are the way to go at least you can change the batteries once or twice a year. with a peace of mind and sleep. save your money and DO NOT purchase the first alert model no. p1210. this will prevent you from joining the rest of us unhappy buyers.
