Shady Business

I tried to sign up for a monthly subscription to view some of the 1921 census but somehow got charged for an entire year. I immediately (within 1 minute after I realised that it went through as an annual) sent an email that there was a mistake and somehow I was charged for an annual subscription on an expired credit card no less. I stated in the email that I only wanted the monthly and to charge me accordingly. I then started looking at records thinking I had a monthly subscription. I was then told that because I had started looking at records that there was no way to refund the money and that I am now stuck with an annual subscription that I didn't want. Shady business practices and I will be sure to tell everyone to be very wary of this company. I am appalled that they are in fact holding me to a $350.00 mistake. Terrible company and I will be reporting this to the Competition and Markets Authority CMA Date of experience: July 29, 2023

Bill issue got billed for a full year when I only want minimum trial to see what it was

Called no answer and hangs me. Lije o said, I paid minimum payment to get free trial and I was immediately charged for one full year 179.00!!

Bill issuedid the lowest price to get free 2 weeks, never started tree and I was charged 179.00 that day

Cannot get ahold of them on only u.s. customer service number, it's a recording then it disconnects.

I was charged via my PayPal account $179 for product and/or service that I did not authorize. PayPal was notified and has denied my dispute. would

When I try to Google Find My Past several accounts come up and I've tried to figure out which of the sites I suppose to have an account. This co. searched British and Irish. I am a Black American living on SS Disability

Renew subscription

This is the first time that I have had a problem contacting Find My Past customer service in several years. Everytime that I called them in the last two days my call was immediately dropped

Cancel my subscription from 26 May

I am 81 and have finished researching my family history. My subscription is Monthly, and I am paid up to the 25th of May. My reference No is 206**** Please Cancel My Membership from 26th May 2022 on.

Worst company ever

EI was charged $179.00 for a membership. They have told me it was not my email, not my information. My card was used though. Liam refused to refund my money although they knew it was not me. I had to go through a return from PayPal. It has been 18 days and Liam had NOT responded to PayPal. He could just call them and say it was fraud. He has 2 more weeks to respond. I think he is going to make me wait the entire time. Worthless customer service.

I have been trying to get in touch with FMP both with email and telephone and just kept on hold and then switch off after a quarter of an hour each time.

I had a subscription with you for 3 months,I upgraded it and was switched to a full subscription. It stated that I had 14 days but when I went to cancel it says that the cancellation was only if I hadnt used the site. I have had several subscription with you over the years and am now 90 and cannot afford it. I am confused and am unable to get in touch with customer services.
