Poor customer service and possibly a very poor user of gps (sales person)

We could not even have the appointment. They could not find our house and said it does not exist. We live in a new community that started to build in 2021. We found it with gps. Golan's movers, ABT, Comcast, Amazon, UPS, private delivery from Anthropologie have all found me here. The post office delivers all my mail. Perhaps the customer service team and the sales people need a class on google and google maps. Just another company that lost an easy sale.good goo

Poor warranty and customer service

Called today to have a window fixed. Had my windows installed in 2013. Window will not shut you have to push the top up and the bottom down at the same time to lock the window with a magic third hand. Was told the service fee went up to $99 instead of $79 dollars. Because of the economic times to pay for gas and wear and tear on the vehicle. I was also informed of their labor charge church can be anyway were from $30 and up depending on the issue. Which the supervisor told me the issue he claims its a balancer. He also asked me what makes me think Im so special I dont have to pay a trip fee. Which was never disclosed to me only pushing if the lifetime warranty. Which you pay for a trip fee, labor cost and depending on the parts as well. I asked what was the lifetime warranty for that I have my whole life to call them? The service girl was rude and would put me on hold to flex her muscles and then get back on the line and ask if I was ready to set my appointment. When I asked a question she would put me back on hold like a child and then come back and ask me if I was ready yet?? I replaced 17 windows with them. Have had to call them multiple times always a headache I hope I never have to deal with them ever again! If I has the money I would replace all of them with an actual reputable company. Great salesmen really push probably could have bought a bridge too but worst experience ever!

This is 2nd window from Feldco. Excellent staff for installation

The crew for install arrived on time, were professional, courteous, did an excellent job, with finishing touches also and cleaning up after. Mr. Todd Foglesons led the crew and communicated with homeowner well as did the others also. Love my new window. Old one possibly 60 years and such a difference now. I now need a bid on a sliding door 78x69. Thank you!

Feldco is a rip off

Spent $20,000 on 4 doors. They simply shoved the doors. They came to adjust all 4 three times and we still see daylight thru 1 and can't lock another and one will open by simply shaking it. I can't get anything in writing from them. Stay away from feldco

Hello, Our home received Feldco windows in January 2020 after our purchase was made in September 2019. The question is we have put an addition to move my mother in, and due to this addition, we have lost 3 out of the 8 windows we purchased. Wondering what we can do with the 3 that are not being used. Do you have a take-back program of any sort? Also, our windows are leaking so badly that we have had to plastic our windows this year when we did not have to do that before. I understand we have a lifetime warranty can someone maybe come and take a look at them or have any other suggestions instead of placing plastic on the windows? Unacceptable Customer Service

May 5, 2022, we had a garage door installed. One of the installers said a wire was corroded and needed to be replace before the project could be finished. When the electrician finally showed up, he determined the wire was not corroded and did not need replacement. We paid him $150. We have sent several emails to Jason Whittington, area manager. We need to be refunded $150 for the electrician and $390 for the garage door opener. The trim was never finished. Reason given was that the garage door opener needed to be done before the trim could be completed. Today is September 11, 2022. We have been emailing Jason since August 4, 2022 and the situation has not been resolved. The door is nice but the customer service stinks.

Siding and skirting horrible

I had my mobile home sided and skirting done in 2018, I have been having to put skirting back on after a mild wind. The sub contractors that did the job in the first place did a horrible job to begin with.They have come quite a few times to fix but never how it should be done. Now they want to charge a $139.00 for a service call. I would not recommend this place for any kind of work! I paid almost $11,000 and my place looks like ***

Unsatisfied

We were told October for our entry door. It wasnt until we pressed Feldco in January they said, Oh! It was back ordered, but JUST arrived! Then, they did a poor job of installation. The base of the door they said theyd replace, was suddenly not possible, so we ended up with a nice door and old, cracked, paint peeled, mismatched door base.

Bad windows

Had 6 windows installed, all leaked water when it rained causing wall damage. One window I cant even close completely. Inspection guy tried to charge me $100 for service call just to take some pictures. Paid $79. Paying on phone is $79, pay in person is $100, huh!!!!! What a scam! Not sure what the final outcome will be but I know I am going to paying out big bucks. Stay tuned.

TERRIBLE service

As of 6/6/22 I am still waiting for the job to be completed. Need a replacement screen door and 2 screen door locks. They have not even mentioned fixing the part of the wall they broke off!

Have been dealing with poor product and service since Aug. of 2021 and it still continues! Install was delayed 1st because of lack of help then product lost. They finally showed up and where missing the patio doors (2). While installing the upstairs window they knocked off part of my stucco and didn't even tell me. They came back a few weeks later (after they found our 3-panel door that was lost for 3 weeks) to install. The screen door was bent and needs to be replaced They then proceeded to install the 3-panel upside down and backwards! The new screen door, the bottom door lock and the screen door locks were still missing and the door wouldn't lock. Also, there was no screen door channel for the door to close and lock into. They came back several weeks later to fix these problems. There was still no screen, channel or locks and my stucco was still on the ground. The wind picked up several days later and the wind was coming in through the cracks so bad it blew out a candle! I had to take apart the door frame a caulk the whole door. Again, after a long wait, they came and adjusted the big door, and it still leaks. I have tried MANY MANY TIMES with little to no response and am currently waiting for a call back. I finally had to fix the stucco myself. Feldco where are you???

This company is a complete rip-off. They lied to us from the start and left us with more of a mess than when they came. And they dont even care

Inferior window installed in my home with wall and floor damage.

Refused to service window installed under warranty unless I pay 99$. Black mold in wall and floor from water damage to interior of my home. Window was never installed correctly.

Poor Product Quality & Service

If I could give this company Zero or Negative Stars I would. I ordered a Sliding Glass door from Feldco in NOVEMBER OF 2020 and I am still waiting for Feldco to deliver the door panels free of damages and defects! During First Installation Date (Around March 2020), I noticed that the seals on the double pane windows for both panels were failing. One seal was so damaged / defective that there is no way the product could have passed Quality Control Inspection. When I brought this to the attention of the Install Team &;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; asked what it was; they just chuckled and said "Oh that's damage." and installed the panels anway. I then had to reschedule a date to get both panels re-installed. During the Second Installation Date (Around End of September 2020), Feldco showed up for the installation with only one Door panel (not both of them). That panel had a huge vetical scratch down 75% of the panel and this time the Installation Team caught it and decided not to install it. For the second panel they actually had drive back to their Des Plaines warehouse and "found it" and then drove back for a second installation that day. Most probably it was not the panel I ordered. Instead it was just someone else's or some other damaged / defective panel that was lying around that they drove back to install (and tried to pass of as my defect-free order). After that 2nd installation round, I noticed that again the seal was failing on that 2nd panel as well and it was actually in worse product quality than the original Sliding Door panel they had installed during the first installation appointment. (During a subsequent conversation with my Salesperson I literally told him that I actually regretted calling Feldco for the 2nd Installation Appointment because I had better product quality before Feldco showed up to try to "fix things"). After this 2nd "Amateur Night" install appointment, I called up the Sales person & told him that if Feldco was unable to deliver panels defect free after a year... maybe it was time to amend the contract to "cancel" the order for the sliding glass door. He said that could not be done & that they would keep trying till they got it right (Translation: I wanna protect my commission!). The Operations Manager in charge of my order has now stopped responding to e-mails and stopped providing updates as to when my third round of panels will be shipped & be ready for a third round of installation. I suspect that most probably nothing has been ordered & Feldco is just stringing me along; hoping I will just give up &; go away). Feldco just wants to install crap products, take your hard-earned money & then hide in their offices with the lights off (hoping their product defect problems will just go away & they won't have to make good for their crap quality / service). This is a company that does not want to honor their so-called "Lifetime Warranty". The Lifetime Warranty is a joke. You can't exercise a Lifetime Warranty if Feldco stops responding to you as a customer and starts treating you more as a nuisance to be ignored / swept under the rug... rather than a valued customer whose business they want to repeatedly earn over time by fixing any quality issues. They want to grab your cash & for problems to go away without having to make things right. Basically FELDCO has given up on fixing things & turned into "FLEDCO". I don't have the time waste by constantly reaching out to Feldco; begging for fixes & status updates on my 1 simple order. I paid for service upfront & FELDCO IS NOT DOING ME ANY FAVORS. I should have paid less for Feldco's "Service" because I paid cash upfront in 2020 & this year inflation has been at 5.5%! I so DEEPLY regret hiring this company. Save your money & the hassle I am going through right now with these LOSERS & just hire another company. Unless you want to pay upfront, wait years for defective products to be installed & then get treated like crap by Feldco when you call it to their attention... totally hire these guys. Boeing can deliver functioning planes in a year... BUT FELDCO CANNOT GET ITS ACT TOGETHER & DELIVER DEFECT FREE GLASS SANDWHICHED BETWEEN TWO PIECES OF METAL?! THIS COMPANY IS A JOKE! I would recommend any potential Commerical or Residential customer to think twice before hiring these jerks! No one has time for how uncessarily STRESSFUL and DRAMA-FILLED their current installation process is. Feldco should do its brand & its customers a favor and stop selling products to new customers until it can stop forcing its existing customers to jump through the Circus / High School Soap Opera that its current installation process is now. YOUR CUSTOMERS ARE BUSY PEOPLE TOO, WITH THEIR OWN PROFESSIONAL LIVES & DO NOT HAVE TIME FOR THIS GARBAGE!!!! Focus on fixing bad quality and existing customer service problems before selling to new customers. For CRAP windows, siding & doors and an insanely hassle filled installation process run by CLOWNS...Call Feldco today!

3 OR 4 years ago they did our siding and immediatley started having problems with the siding falling off, at least 3 times a year they come out and do a temporary fix instead of taking it off and fixing it right. the sales person said they would send their best crew who showed up and cut everything too short. now they wont even return calls.

Window Cracked, Reported 3 year ago

Having a problem getting a resolution. I called about a cracked window some 3 years ago. When we finally received a call back. We paid the $99. They came out after Covid started to slow down, measured my window. Then the waiting game began. May 2021 I had a sales person come out to measure for a sliding glass door to get some help. No one has called yet after the salesperson made a promise to help.

Warranty

The warranty that feldco claims to provide is fake. I purchased several windows from feldco a few years ago. One of the casement (crank out) windows would not fully open. The molding at the top of the window had came loose and was hanging down. This is what was causing the window not to open.I contacted feldco and spoke with Isabel who said there would be a $99.00 charge for someone to come out and a charge for labor and whatever materials needed. I said what about the warranty? She didnt answer just repeated the same thing. I asked to speak to a manager I was put on hold for exactly 46 minutes 37 seconds. I realized I was going to get nowhere with these people. The warranty is just a sales pitch to get people to buy their product. I have other properties that are in need of new windows I will never buy from feldco again.The salesman that came out stressed several times about the life time warranty on the windows and all materials.
