Can’t talk to any body

After my money was stolen calling and no body answering,reservation was cancel without my knowledge and they took half of my money

Horrible experience

If I could give this company a 0 star I would! This is truly a scam and a wast of your money dont do it!! I just booked a flight which I thought was a really great deal compared to all other flight agencies but then received a call from an agent soon after my booking letting me know that the basic economy I purchased is all booked (basic economy wasnt even what I selected when booking. I selected economy) due to that matter I have to upgrade to economy and was charged an immense amount of extra payment due to the upgrade, taxes and fees. Which was not at all disclosed on the web site during my booking. When speaking to the travel agent about my frustrations all he kept repeating was the fact that my flight is already booked and Ill lose out on all my money if I cancel, then transferred me to his supervisor which was of no help either. So in the end I basically had no choice but to pay the extra amount, which was ridiculous. This whole situation has been such a nightmare, Ive never experienced anything like this and will for sure never ever book with this company again. I will make it a point to make sure others dont either.

Unable to speak with a representative. No one available to help me with my issue.

Tried to cancel my Flight due to a pending Hurricane. Spirit informs me that my ticket was purchased through Fareportal as a third party entity. That I must seek my refund through Fareportal. But unable to reach or speak to anyone who can assist me in this matter.

Poor customer service fraudulent paid for ground transportation within package. When time to utilize.. oops sorry we made a mistake. On line chat and via phone was no assistance. The worse do not use Cheapoair. Poor customer relations

Unauthorized charges

Unknown charges to my bank account. I really dont have anything else to write about other than I want this charge removed from my bank account immediately as I did not authorize this charge of $21.99 to be debited from my account. Ticket refund

Until this date, July 21, 2020 no refund was received. The airline (Virgin Atlantic), to whom Fareportal moved my pending case, did not contact me.

OneTravel sent me an email, citing they contacted me by phone and I was not available - which is another scam, because their number never registered on my phone missed calls - and asked me to call them.

I called; the person who answered took her 15 minutes to get into my file, just to tell me that the refund will take another FOUR months, blaming it on Covid-19!!! Looks like every 4 months they'll be coming back to me to extend the reimbursement for another 4 months!

I bought a ticket from Cheapoair/OneTravel (Fareportal Inc.) which operates Travelong, 'Lastminutedeals' etc. (The mother company is in England)Travel was on Virgin Atlantic, Upper Class, from New York to Malta, via London, on March 12, 2020. When the US President announced the no-travel policy, I tried to cancel my flight. I was told from the travel agent that I have to pay a penalty of $700 or reschedule the flight. I opted for rescheduling to April 12, 2020. Malta closed the country to all airlines around March13, 2020. Hence Virgin Airlines couldn't fly into the country. I called Cheapoair/OneTravel and cancelled my flight. They accepted my cancellation, on March 26, 2020, and asked if I want a refund or a credit. They also noted that certain flight destinations (incl. Malta) will not incur cancellation fees. I opted for a refund. I emailed them many times: Their response was an automated email from "Fareportal" customer support. Last email was on April 25, 2020. I called their listed phone number, there's no response. Seemed to me, they just cut off the line. Any email response carries their excuse of the extreme high volume of emails because of the Covid-19. I filed with BBB and Consumer Affairs on June 15, 2020. On June 17, I receive a call telling me that a refund is issued. Any questions, call 646-783-****. On June 21, 2020, I receive an email asking me to call them at 845-848-****. I call. The answer I get: We don't issue refunds, it's the airline that does the transaction, and we'll send them an email for that. (Mind you, that when I contacted the airline in the beginning, they told me that you booked with an agent, you go back to that agent!) I asked for the email. They sent me one confirming what the agent said, giving me no case number to fall back to. I sent them an email asking for a reference number of their email to the airline. They did not respond!

Refund

They were refunded the money for my canceled airline tickets, due to the coronavirus. I was told to contact them To get the money credited to my account, they will not answer any questions or contact me. I truly don't know what to do.

Change flight info

I am unable to take our flight to Alaska, which I had to cancel because of the CoVid 19 virus. IAM asking for one of these remedies. 1. Extent our reservations to May 2021, 2. Transfer these tickets to my grandson for December of this year, o 3. Refund my money. I will continue with my complaints to the BBB and the consumer protection agency in Connecticut, along with letters to my Senators and congressmen in my state. My husband and I can not fly due our medical condition. It is our hope that a vaccine will be available in the spring or before. I am waiting to hear from you. Carol a. Parker

Pissed

I have been trying to change my flight for 5 days on CheapOAir. The 3 numbers I have do not answer but maybe every 5th time. When they do answer, I get a message that says the number is disconnected or not in service. The one time I got a person from one of the 3 numbers, as soon as I said I wanted to change my reservation, they hung up on me (after two hours of waiting). The chat feature puts me in a queue of 800 people. When I get to about number 250 (after 90 minutes) - it shockingly disconnects me and then starts be back at number 900. I paid for cancellation ability when I booked my ticket. When I click the button available to be able to do this - it sends me to a screen with a number (back to square 1). My flight is tomorrow. AA says I cannot reschedule with them because I booked with COA. Affirm (which I used to pay for the ticket) says COA must first refund the ticket before they will cancel the loan for it. I was going to see my elderly father in Florida. I cannot go because now my son is sick. I am not bringing whatever he might have onto a plane and then to my 86-year-old father with a heart condition during a pandemic. Get it together and figure out a way to deal with your customers. If I cannot cancel this flight before it takes off tomorrow, I will contact BBB and will NEVER use any of your portals again.
