SCAMMERS

I was ripped off!! BEWARE of their scandalous business practices. I went in for a $24 haircut. When it was time to pay the bill they charged me $51.00!!! WTF? I was billed $15 to dry my hair, $12.00 for having long hair, then .65 to leave a tip. I didnt ask for a blow dry, my stylist said she had to dry my hair to finish cutting it, so I thought, ok, cool, whatever. And $12 to cut long hair? I was there to get it all cut off!!?? Isnt that why people get haircuts in the first place? Then the icing on the cake was that I had to pay a fee to leave a tip. TOTAL SCAMMERS. They should be ashamed.

Terrible experience and yet to have a resolution. Can’t get ahold of corporate to complain.

I had a hair cut and a beard trim that was royally messed up. Called the store manager for a refund and have it fixed. We came to a resolution with the stipulation that the manager fixes my beard. I showed up for my follow up appointment and the store was closed during business hours, no note no phone call. Due to this no resolution has happened. Due to the humiliation from the poor hair cut and beard trim another salon graciously redid it so it looked decent which included removing part of the beard trim that was so bad we had to remove it. And fixed the hair cut that parts I did not request in the first place.

WONDERFUL SERVICE

I am so happy with these girl. In lompoc calif NANCY THE BOSS. TAT DOES MY HAIR PERFECT EVERYTIME SHE KNOWS WHAT SHES DOING ALSO GREAT GIRLS MARTHA..AND ASHLEY THEY WERE ALL SO NICE PLACE WAS SPOTLESS CLEAN BUT NANCY I DONT KNOW WHAT ID DO WITHOUT HER SHES PERFECT .FRANCIN GUTIERREZ I GIVE IT A BIG 1O

Want a refund due to horrible service

Staff was very rude sat there for over an hour made a comment and was asked to leave young girl was on phone instead of waiting on customers have $90 in gift certificates I want a refund

Very poor service. Manager on duty was cleaning instead of taking care of customer.

Only 2 employees working. The one employee got a phone call and went in back room with manager and left 6 people waiting for service. I will let everyone who asks about your business and how rude the staff at the New Kensington store are.my disabled mother waited 2 and a half hours to b seen

Stylist damaged my hair with a perm

Erica at fantastic sams overprocessed my hair and damaged it, not just the ends but all the way to my root. I asked her if I should have my hair tested beforehand and she replied no you will be fine. I asked for body only and to use big rollers and she said your perm wont last as long and I said that is fine I would rather have no curl than to much. I have had my hair cut three times since and it is still bad. When I went back a few days after to show her my hair she just suggested some products (which I spent 60$) from your store. Next time I went back I saw Erica head to the back of the store to hid from me. Told them I was still not happy and from than on I keep getting the run around My last attempt to talk to the manager which I am told is Gini she just left for a vacation. Really?!? This was the cedar lake rd location in St. Louis park, MN.

Awful Experience

They refuse to claim that any customer has ever been burned by hot wax. They say it is temperature controlled. I'm telling you that it was exremely hot and it burned my skin.

I contacted customer service today. Could not be resolved over the phone.

My name and number will be passed on to the franchise owner.

She claims that the eyebrow wax is set at one temperature. Then why did it burn my skin?

I went to this location for a haircut (awful) and a brow wax. After finishing up, the stylist put some sort of gel over where it was waxed. It was not til later on that day that I had begun to have some pain over my right eyebrow. I looked in the mirror and noticed that there was a small burn mark there. I stayed in pain for a couple of days afterwards. Very disappointing. Beware of this place.

Rude reception and awful haircut

A rude young woman with long red hair and black roots told me 30 mins. to wait. Forgot about me and let other people back. An hr. or so later I got the worst haircut ever! My hair used to be mid back length. I asked for a relaxed bob. I ended up with a weird choppy uneven short cut by the lady with the short blond curly hair.

Unpleased with hair

Very unpleasant with after spending over $200 for my hair that my regrowth came out super fast and that my hair turned green and the toner that was used washed out in a few days and on top of that the hairstylist completely ruined my shirt

Stylist got angry shaved my head

I went in for a bayalage and cut showed pictures. After rinsing out the color we went back to the chair where she proceeded to cut my hair for all of about five minutes before showing me the mirror at that point I noticed that despite what I thought had been a pretty clear consultation and her repeating that we were doing color melt she had done an ombré which I had specifically said I didnt want. She also barely cut my hair and not at all like the photo I showed. The color was also murky. I mentioned this was ombré and murky and I didnt like how it came out. I didnt ask her what happened to the cut I asked for the edgy pixie I showed the pic of. I showed her the pic again. She grabbed the buzzers I thought she was going to shave the tiny tiny little part on one side that was shaved but she took off the entire right side of my hair even the back. Afterwards she showed the mirror again and asked in a sarcastic tone if this was edgy enough. She made no attempt to cut the other side of hair the inspo was a longer pixie w a peakaboo shave theres no way after seeing it twice she thought it was all shaved like that. And the left side was clearly not a layered bob but thats how she left mine. I was in shock and obviously didnt feel comfortable speaking up after that bc I was afraid what she might do to the rest of my hair if I did. I immediately after leaving tried to reach management I called emailed sent messages through social media no response. Sometimes when I called the salon Id say who I was and be hung up on other times theyd say no manager there but theyd call me. Almost two weeks went by without any response from management so I disputed the charge w my bank. They couldnt bother to reach out to me to hear what happened offer to fix it etc but apparently the manager found time to dispute the chargeback and since I did go there the bank said Id have to sue to get my funds back! I regret not going full Karen while still there and refusing to pay / press charges for battery which is what cutting off someones hair without consent would be considered. Im shocked that they apparently just took the stylists word for it which Im guessing she told them I asked to have my head shaved after I just paid to color it sounds really believable to me lol bc I cant imagine she admitted to doing it in anger. I also cant believe the manager would think an employee would be honest about doing something that most definitely would get them fired if they admitted to it. Half my hair just gone and aside from a lawsuit I have no recourse. I had to buy and wear a wig. Ive already spent $200 trying to fix the color on the other side and its not done yet.

Resolve issue

Complaint Details I had called to make an appt for a hair cut and style that was advertised with Groupon. The woman that answered told me that they had a senior special on Wednesdays for a perm and cut for $50. She said her perm gal is there on Wednesday so I booked an appt for March 23, 2002 at 3 pm. At the appt, I spoke with the girl that was doing my hair about what I wanted. A lot of tight curls. My hair is on the shorter side and yet while rolling my hair, she ran out of perm rods. She finished rolling my hair with what she had and when she put the setting solution on, she left it on for only 6 mins instead of the normal 20 min. During the rolling of my hair, she revealed to me that this was only her 3 rd perm she had ever done. When the rods were removed there was barely any curl. I let her know that it wasnt what I wanted or what we discussed. Nothing more was done. She didnt cut my hair or style it. When I went to pay, they tried to add charges. I told her I was not paying any more because 1st it wasnt even done correctly, they ran out of perm rods, and I was not happy about that at all, 2nd I didnt even get what was included in the 50$ quote I was given over the phone, no hair cut was performed, and 3rd no one disclosed to me any possible additional charges when I booked the appt.it took over 3 1/2 hours. We went back and forth about the cost and she said she had to call her manager because I refused to pay more than the $50. They couldnt get a hold of her. I paid the $50 in cash and asked them to have the manager call me because I was totally dissatisfied with the whole experience and to let her know that their perm gal was not prepared, was inexperienced, unprofessional, and how dissatisfied and disappointed I was. As of today, I still have yet to get any type of communication from the store manager. There was been no good faith shown at all on the stores side. They with held information about the ad, tried to charge more, and not deliver the service promised.

Worst cut in 40 yrs

Normally an easy head to cut. Vicky at Smithfield NC location gapped and botched the entire back of my head. My wife took pictures of it oh, it was rather unbelievable. Never again

Worst haircut in 40 yrs. Ssys her name is Vicky At Smithfield NC LOCATION.and i have the pics to prove it. And yet no one from any location in the Fantastic Sam hierarchy will respond to my complaint. Not Massachusetts not Albuquerque not a soul. Pretty poor. I'm making sure everyone I know is aware . That's the way it is beware of this employee

Customer service complaint

Walked into a location at Delano MN. To get myself and two sons a haircut where at least four employees were working. I was greeted by a larger woman who was very rude. Who didn't even say hello she began by saying what? There is some one infront of you and it will be at least a hour and a half before we could be seen. So I proceeded to ask why it would take so long ? And she began to yell. So we left. Every time I have gone to a fantastic sam's I have had a good experience.if this can't be resolved by anyone I will be taking my business else where. And I will let everyone I know about this situation.
