Appointment issues

I had an appointment aug. 12 @9am and apon arrival they informed me that the person i was scheduled with was not going to show up. I checked my phone to verify that EWC had let me know and they called me 10mins before. They asked if i was willing to wait another 45mins to be seen. I agreed. An entire hour went by and thays when i was told the worker was running behind and i have to wait another 45mins. At that point i did not feel important because other clients were coming in and there was at that point no room for me. My frustration was that i was willing to wait 45mins. And after an hour i was told the work was running late and could no long see me so i had to wait another 45mins on top of the hour i had already spent there. The whole thing seemed unfair. I am reaching out to you to hope see if i can get some type of compensation for my time lost. Thank you.

Inefficient waxing wanted? this is the place for you. otherwise find another place.

they apply the wax, rip and that is it. no tweezering to get the remaining hairs which are a little more stubborn. even at the local HC they do a better job. they make a big deal about how sanitary they are -- and that is probably overrated. the person who did my waxing double dipped. the products they try to see you are ridiculously overpriced -- dermatologist rx level prices.

I am extremely disappointed. I have given my business to EWC since 2013 and was refused a refund. I was a part of a mass lay off and can’t afford the services anymore.

I called the manager in Warren NJ and she refused to give me a refund for my wax pass and refused my brand new product. I would appreciate it if someone in corporate can contact me in regards to this at (732) 956-****.

Complaint in local franchise

Please don't work for this particular location management is dishonest and unprofessional... They neither value the employees that they hire nor respect them... They withhold pay out of spite and only do this practice for certain former employees.

BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE

i called to cancelled my EWC pass. They told me that the manager will call me to just cancelled my pass, but they never did. Yall still took my money from my account & i called it still saying that their manager will call me back but i NEVER RECEIVED ANY CALLS!!! what kind of manager is that? yall need to get yall manager right! yall just easy to take customers money, but so hard to cancelled our passes and refund us? what kind of wax center is this. what a scam!

I was mistreated and I never heard back from anyone. I will never return to European Wax , I was a good customer who went every month. I had a yearly membership

I had an appointment in April. I made 2 appointments, one for myself eyebrows, and I was having a first time underarm appointment. Another appointment was for my daughter's birthday eyebrows. I made them both online. I even received an email verifying. When I get there, they tell me they are not in the system. They should have accommodated. I didnt even do my underarms that day cut my session to try fit in my daughter but they just wouldnt do it.

I had an appointment at your location in High Point, NC Today at 4:00pm and when I arrived for my appointment, I was advised by Nellie the Store Manager at the High Point NC location that they couldn't receive service at the High Point, NC and paid for services in advance and would really appreciate an explanation as to why I was denied service at the High Point, NC location

Complaint on local franchise

This complaint is more related to management as well treatment of employees by said management... I am a former employee and had wages withheld from me after being fired, due to calling out for mental health reasons. I was unable to return a key and wages were withheld from me. The reason I was not able to return the key in the time allocated was due to my mental state at that time... Management of thus location is insensitive and unqualified

Complaint

Disaster. Appointment was not available. I received all conformations and a kind woman gave me her appointment. I checked in at 3:25 for a 3:30 appointment. The receptionist chatted away with me. At 3:45 i asked if there was a problem. I commented that if I were 15 minutes late it would be a problem. She then could not articulate the problem but said there was no one to assist me. No waxist available. I was upset and she yelled at me she did not like my demeanor. Meanwhile, as I was not aggressive, a very kind woman gave me her appointment as I was leaving the next morning for the Maldives. I also had to get home to cook for six children. She is the marketing student at the Willow lawn branch in Richmond, va. I liked the person who did my waxing. She was great. However, the receptionist was very unprofessional and made me extremely uncomfortable.

Horrible

Never on time. The waxers are constantly complaining about work conditions and quitting. Manager will not call you even when they promise that they will (after 3 messages in 2 weeks).

Worst service/Customer service ever

WORST SERVICE/CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! I have been going to this location for almost a year getting my 12 y/o daughter's eyebrows waxed. I went today to see Kim, not the usual person I see, and experienced the worst service/customer service I have ever had. Kim waxed half of my daughter's eyebrows and then stopped because "she has acne and put lotion on her face". This of course after they charged me. My daughter, like most 12 y/o girls, has acne, and put lotion on her face at 7am. The appointment was at 3pm. I have never had any issues with her getting waxed because of these things. I went back in and demanded my money back at which point Kim argued with me that she has a daughter who "she would never wax" and has "been doing this for four years". The girl at the front desk called the manager, Monica, who did not ask to speak to me or offer any apologies. For that matter, no one apologized to me or my crying daughter. To make matters even worse, after I got home I realized that Kim burned my daughter's face with the wax. I will never go back here and highly suggest no one does either.

I was called a beluga whale out of nowhere when I was leaving last night

Ive been visiting European wax Center for at least eight years now. Ive mainly frequented the Cincinnati locations, but I moved so I just recently started visiting the one in Crestview Hills, which is in a predominantly white neighborhood. I went in and got my service like I usually do I paid and left a tip. Then I told the girls at the front counter to have a good night. They told me to have a good night to, but when I turned around to leave. They screamed. Its a beluga whale! I just recently had a hysterectomy and have gained a lot of weight, so it really hit me hard!!! I will never going to another European wax Center!

Customer service

If Im going to pay a boat load, then I deserve to be treated with respect. Gisela in the Mission Valley location has an attitude. She is ableist and classist. She only shows respect to those who look rich. And with her, having a disability is frowned upon.

Im married to a woman of African-American descent and Im a White man , it seems like the woman who works at European Wax Center felt like she needed to ask my wife questions about how long are were going to be together and where did we meet! Rayn from European Wax Center is someone who you want to assist you if you have a black wife or white husband! Had no business being personal with my wife!!!

Horrible Service

Melissa in Katy Location canceled my appointment! The online information never stated canceling appoint if 5 min late n I was there in 6 min. I will never go there ever again! Melissa stated store manager last name Captilo said to make it a 5 min late policy and never stated info to me or online!! I called and told her I was at light and still cancelled my appointment rho she said it was ok. Appointment was at 5:45 and I made it through the door at 5:51. I will never consider ur company again! They gave this 5 min grace period time to be out of the building on time not trying to honor cl just to convenience, themselves. They never give good service! They have the never to make me wait over 10-20 min for someone to be done but tell me I hv a 5 min grace period? I always have to go home and finish the job I paid them to do!!! I loathe the entire company. I have been to multiple European Waxes and this one is by far the worse!
