Complaint

The Elk Grove W Stockton Blvd is ridiculous! The waiting room is packed and the office only had 1 person walking customers out and dragging their damn feet! Numerous staff here walking in and out of office eating and could care less about their job performance! A new manager needs to come clean house! This is a mess and a disservice to your loyal customers! These knuckle heads walking around here like a Sunday afternoon need to be fired and mope around their home not at a job! Disgusted !!

Recently I ran into a problem with my rental in Missoula Mt. at the {{Redacted}}. location. Once we explained our situation they stepped up and solved the problem going beyond our expectations. This is why when I need a car rental I always go straight to Enterprise. A special shout out to Charlie who made the difference in our experience.

Not a happy customer

Rented a gmc Denali from Lower Burrell location that had bad brakes and rotors was headed to Florida made it to Orlando Florida metal on metal I would like to have a discount on my rental for reasons being that the vehicle should have not left lot

Worse experience!!!

Worst case experience at your Athens Ga location 3100 Atlanta Hwy! Picking up a nasty car not ready and my wait over 45 minutes for then to go to the Bogart Ga location to pick up a nasty car . Then they sparely half way wiped it down. Nasty. Drop off today was a joke!! I literally just left the keys on counter and car parked in lot!!! Cluster *** Unorganized, absolutely no customer service skills, no organizational skills!! Yea I have all freaking day to wait till your socialize and ignore your real customers!! Not one time has my reserved vehicle been ready in the Bogart or Athens location! Worst customer service ever!! I use to appreciate Enterprise but these last few rentals experiences have been in the drenches!! Hertz def has you beat in Athens!!

Springfield enterprise a P.A. is terrible

Springfield of PA is the worst run enterprise dealership I have ever had this pleasure of dealing with. We had a confirm reservation and authorization for a jeep. Checked in a couple days prior before we drove one hour north to get the jeep. We were told the jeep would be ready. Five minutes from the enterprise office we called to check in and we were told that the customer extend it up in the jeep would not be delivered. Megan has a manager at this location field in every capacity as a leader and a manager. Nicholas was unavailable because he was out of the office for the week. Megan seems to think just because she apologize 10 times that that resolves the problem. She never offered an solution. I had to offer numerous solutions to solve the problem. We were strung along until we got to the root of the issue. The vehicle would not be here until tomorrow morning. Prior to that she said the vehicle would not arrive till 530 and they close at six so were out of luck until the next day. She did not try to offer any type of partial reform, compensation, or any good face measure to restore confidence in this company. It was as if Megans philosophy is oh well so sad too bad youre out of luck and I got enough customers to deal with , I would like Nicolas to give us a call directly when he arrives to discuss this matter further if he subscribed to this same philosophy, we probably will not hear from him. This enterprise need to be checked into for their *** poor customer, service, and resolution skills when dealing with long-term customers .

About car damage claim

I had a talk with an enterprise agent , I asked about description of sublet amount she said I dont know about the sublet. later I had a talk with another agent, I asked about full damage bill details and description of every item description amount (damage,sublet,loss of use, admin fee) they said I will send a mail regarding all those full bill details. Unfortunately till now I didnt receive any mail from your side.I called enterprise several times to tell this issue, but no agent answer my call. I am looking for that mail and full bill details. If I get the full damage bill details and description of each item details then Ill pay the damage bill.

Hello, I had a reservation thru Shelter Insurance. Reservation number XW43G4 and they are aware of their liability. Your corporation has committed fraud on an unauthorized payment. I have informed my Bank institution about this unauthorized transaction. I will be filing a Fraud suit against this corporation. My reason for review on Pissed Consumer is to share my highly dissatisfying experience with Enterprise Rent-A-Car and highlight the unacceptable vehicle conditions and poor service I encountered.

I would like to provide a comprehensive account of the specific incidents and issues I encountered during my rental experience with Enterprise Rent-A-Car. Firstly, I made a reservation for a full-size sedan at the Belmont, NC location. Despite receiving assurances from their staff, there were no sedans available upon my arrival. This not only caused inconvenience but also raised concerns about their commitment to fulfilling reservations. As an alternative, I was given a red Kia Sportage, which was in a deplorable condition. It was covered in dog hair from the previous renter and emitted a strong odor of dog urine. This lack of cleanliness and attention to detail was completely unacceptable, especially considering the assurances made during the reservation process. To address these issues, I contacted the Belmont location and was directed to return the car for a replacement. However, upon returning the Kia Sportage, the replacement vehicle, a white Nissan Sentra, was even worse. The car had not been properly cleaned or detailed and reeked of cigarettes. The smoke residue was deeply ingrained in the dashboard, and even the radio showed visible smoke marks. This level of neglect and lack of maintenance is indicative of a failure to meet basic standards. Throughout this process, the customer service I received was subpar. Miscommunication and a lack of responsiveness were evident when attempting to address these issues. The promises made to resolve the problems were not followed through, leaving me frustrated and disappointed. Furthermore, the presence of additional fees without proper justification raises concerns about transparency and fairness. The lack of availability of full-size sedans, despite making a reservation, showcases a failure in their reservation system and the reliability of their services. In conclusion, my review on Pissed Consumer aims to shed light on the numerous incidents and issues I encountered with Enterprise Rent-A-Car. From the unsatisfactory vehicle conditions to the lack of responsiveness and overall failure to meet basic standards, it is clear that there were significant shortcomings in their service.

Extra Money Fee

When I first rented with them, I used a debit card. They wanted an extra $500 to hold until I returned the car. In the following years, I used an actual credit card, as they had told me an actual credit card would not have any "extra money" hold on it. I just rented again from them and will be using my credit card. I just got a call from one of their agents stating they will have to hold an additional $300 until I return the car. What the heck is going on? They make up policies as they go, or do actual credit cards mean nothing to them? They are going to lose me as a customer, as I have been one for many years. (Note: The address is actually 900 Central Avenue in Albany, NY - the system would not let me choose THIS address)

Rented a car from the BWI on 06/03/2023.I had an exceptional service from this lady who served me, Davione. Very friendly and honest. Was able to make me and convince me pick a bigger vehicle than previously anticipated. Her knowledge was outstanding. The car was equally good and those who attended to me were very friendly even during return. During return i forgot my cap inside and when i went back to look or it, it was still their. The gentleman was able to locate the car and we found the cap inside.

Enterprise did reach out for more information. But they did nothing to resolve the issue. After extensively explaining my reasoning behind my review there was no effort to try and keep me as a customer. I did get an apology but I do not accept it. Due to the fact the founder was a decorated *** cat pilot from WW2 and the company is named after the very ship he served on they should have done more to help us. My son is in the Navy and we were renting the car to see him return home from deployment. To be clear there was no offer to do anything for us. No discount, no price matching nothing on the next time we need to rent a car. Which will probably be never because where we live we have no other affordable options. 100 % dissatisfied. Customer service is an absolute joke. To be clear we did not get to rent the car. We have no other options to rent from so I can not add anything to the questions of where it happened proof of purchase.

No available rental

I made a reservation on 4-24-23 for pick up on May 5, 2023. I reserved a full size SUV for a weekend trip for my daughter's soccer tournament 240 miles away. I needed a full size SUV and nothing smaller. On Tuesday May 2, 2023 I stopped in at the local Enterprise Station located at 10750 State Route 30 Irwin, PA 15642 (This was the location I reserved the Full size SUV for pick-up and return). I was there to confirm the reservation for the coming Friday, they confirmed my reservation and told me they would see me on Friday. On Friday I was told they were not able to get to a full size SUV and tried to give me a Toyota Highlander or a mini-van. I find this totally unacceptable. You had almost 3 weeks to get a full size SUV in for my reservation and didn't get one. If you could not get one you should've just told me you could not get one or at least tell me there is a chance that you may not be able to get to I could make other arrangements. No one said a word when I was there just 3 days earlier confirming the reservation. This ruined the weekend for me and my family. I do not agree with doing business like this. A few days later when I drove by there was a Nissan Armada and Ford Expedition sitting on the lot. Confirmation number 134839****

Rent A WRECK!!!

The front bumper on my Lexus was damaged while parked at Walgreen - took to Lindsey Collision Center for repair. Why in the world they are connected to a 1.6 star rental company that is renting WRECKED vehicles - I will never understand!! Damage noted on my contact - Front Right Bumper - when I returned vehicle - Ka'Von Ray - Branch Mgr - stated - he would submit a claim on my insurance for the Front Right Bumper damage - that I DID NOT DO!!! Which was noted on my contract!! - SCAM SCAM SCAM!!! He clearly saw my insurance covered 100%!! Woman - decided - hey! let me get this car fixed at her expense!! NOT HAPPENING!!! Stated he did not have number to District or Corporate Offices to file complaint!!! LIES!! I called Enterprise - complaint line - took my info - saw on my contract - damage noted!! Informed me that District Manager - is names - John Ray! Interesting - SAME LAST NAME AS PERSON - SCAMMING AT OFFICE!!! Ka'Von Ray - Branch Manager - John Ray - District Mgr - Nepotism!!! I will take this to the Better Business Bureau - I will contact my Insurance - and DEFINATELY - CONTACTING LINDSEY COLLISON - ABOUT WHY THEY WOULD ALIGN WITH SUCH A HORRIBLE RENTAL COMPANY FOR LEXUS OWNERS!!!

Rental Agreement 821Z**

I rented a vehicle from Enterprise (Palm Coast location at 145 Airport Rd., Palm Coast) on 11/8/2022 and returned on 1/30/2023. The vehicle was parked in a Publix Supermarket parking lot, where a white van backed into it, causing very little damage (almost unnoticeable in our photographs) to the plastic front grille. The white van fled the scene, and we contacted police and waited for hours to complete the incident report. The incident report, along with all the white van driver and insurance information. The deposit of $734.61 was charged to my Visa, and not returned. They are not responding to my calls or emails. I am informed by my insurance company that Enterprise is not pursuing any action to this hit and run driver or his insurance company. Instead, they find it easier to keep my security deposit. This is very unfair and I am cautioning everyone to be aware of this company's policy. I have sent a letter to corporate, and awaiting a response from them. Jay J.

I rented a midsize suv online on the 7 of January to be picked up at Shreveport,la on the 8th of Feb. Got into the airport and found out someone one their end canceled the reservation without my permission and I had no knowledge of the cancellation and to top it off Enterprise and ALL other car rentals are sold out.

To speak to corporate

So I was renting a car from Enterprise through an insurance claim and everything was going great well my insurance claim amount for the first claim ran out, so then I was paying out of pocket every 2 to 3 days because I was waiting on my insurance company to pick back up paying when I filed a new claim, so I was paying out of pocket for a week or so I paid about $900 worth out-of-pocket well when I finally had everything worked out with the insurance company and was going to file a new claim I called up to Enterprise and told them that I wanted to pay my balance because my insurance would be picking up the following day until my car was fixed well the manager that I talked to at 2:54 his name was scoot said that not to worry about paying my balance being that since I was going to be coming back up there at 8:00 that morning to put another deposit down and start a new claim that I can just pay my balance then, and I said great he also asked me then did I want to get a different vehicle or keep the same one I had, I said well I need something cheaper, but I didn't need, nothing smaller because I have kids two of them sometimes three but I didn't want anything bigger that used a lot of gas, so he told me that that would not be a problem that I could just come in at 8:00 a.m. and pick whatever I wanted, and I thought that was just awesome he was a great person he helped me out alot made me feel better, so everything was going good well I fell asleep that night and woke up about 2:00 or 3:00 a.m. and started to file my claim about 4:00 or 4:30 I started filing it and I talked to a person through the 1-800 number, and she helped me get my claim done and everything and asked where I would be getting my rental car and I told her Enterprise she said okay your reservation is for 8:00 in the morning at Enterprise on government street and that was everything, and we got off the phone so when I get there at 8:00 a.m. 4 hours later after I just filed the claim and my reservation was set I get there about 8:30 or so and a guy named Q came up to me and said he was the manager for the day and needed my keys I handed them to him he then locks the vehicle and tells me my card was declined and I said no that's not possible because I just put for $500 in there and my balance was only 208 so I knew something wasn't right he told me there's nothing else he could do unless I had another card I said well sure I gave him another card and I told him to give me one minute 60 seconds to transfer the money back over to that card he said okay, and he walked to the back when he came back he said I'm sorry, but you are now on the do not rent list and I asked why, and he said because I did not pay my balance yesterday and I said well that's because your other manager told me that I didn't have to that I could just pay it this morning when I got here, and he was like oh well there's nothing I can do for you I am going to need you to get your stuff out of the vehicle I'll walk you out there and all this kind of stuff he tried to explain to me about why, and I told him what the manager the day before said, and then I also told him a couple of days before that a woman called and was asking for payment because I was only paying every day to three days waiting on the insurance company and I told her what was the latest that I could pay, and she said 5:30 I said well the money will be in there about 4:30 or 5:00, and she said okay great I'll run it then, so I didn't think, nothing else about it well then the following day I noticed that she didn't take it out, so then I knew I had a payment again so I called up there and I paid them and everything was good again. So back to Q the manager he made me look like straight trash that morning talking to me crazy acting like I didn't know what I was talking about and that he just really didn't care, and he couldn't help me that I needed to leave he said he would walk me to my car to get all my stuff out well he never did. So after about an hour I walked up to it and it was unlocked, so I got my stuff and I had to go sit on the side of the busy road in 110 weather for about an hour and a half until I found a ride to bring me to get another car well when my ride got there I loaded my stuff up I went back inside to ask if I could get his manager's number he said he could not give me the manager's number that he could give me the email address and I said okay that would be fine I was very polite I never raised my voice I never said anything out of the way or anything so he looks at another employee and says give her the email address well after waiting for about 15 minutes and not getting anyone I left, I got the email address a couple hours later when I had to call up there and she gave me Qs email address I guess he thought I was stupid or something because that's the way he was treating me telling me I needed to read my own policy and this and that when he was the one that should have read me my policy that Enterprise was supposed to fulfill, he's the one that should have contacted the manager from yesterday instead of treating me like *** He said I was not able to rent from them anymore because I'm on the do not rent list due to non-payment well I tried to pay the payment the day before, but scoop said not to worry about it until I come up there he was great scoot was great, now Q has the worst customer service I have ever met, and I have been in the industry for over 19 years now I've been a server and bartender for 19 years he's very rude I felt like I was being judged looked down on disrespected treated differently than everybody else in there like he was trying to embarrassed me and do everything he could to make me look stupid. I'm going today to get proof of the money that was in my account when he ran my card and told me it was declined because that was a lie not only did he make me look stupid and embarrassed in front of everybody in there he made me sit outside in 110 weather for about 2 hours. I want something done I want to be taken off the do not rent list ( but I don't want to deal with cute if I ever do has to deal with that Enterprise again) and I feel that something should be done because one manager told me everything was great, and the other one treated me like *** and I am very pissed very hurt, I have never been treated like that before in my life that $900 was a lot of money to me I am a single mother with two kids that has been doing everything I was supposed to be, me having that rental car was not my fault in the first place it was between the insurance and the body shop that had did the work the first time so if I could please get a call back so I can explain it a little better I would really appreciate it thank you. Well I'm going to see her going through my emails I see that Mark D hermesa area manager evidently has not been told the truth maybe he should go back and look at the videos and call me directly and talk to me directly and let me prove everything directly because he is not telling the truth or somebody is not telling him the truth

Let me and my family Stranded and Emergency.

What happens to me and my family not pay with nothing. One night go to bed me and my daugther and my brother family with not eat nothing , Enterprise let my Stranded because first the Manager team from Denver Colorado Airport not want to help me , The 24 I'm call Enterprent rise Customer service because the cars pulling really bad and vibrated 50 and up. Everything was close that night, so we drive 21 hours to Colorado and Enterprise Customer talk me they ready call the Airport and they will get car for me the 25th December , so we arrive the airport after drivg all night and when get dear the first manager Mikaela Billapando she came and say we not have nothing available, I'm say i came here because the Enterprise Customer Service send me here becaused the problem with the car and she don't care, she say again I not have nothing available, I'm mention above the vibration may came because the rear wheel are bent and that i'm want a 4×4 for the snow. She accuse me that I did that, I say i'm not did that, I have photo and proof, she say that damage is not in the agreement.. she make me look like I lie from of my family. Really unprofessional. Accuse me front all my family. 3 minutes later another ladies came and say front of me and Mikaela, that car has in accident before and the rim are in the report,, that the reason why may pulling so bad and vibrated , pull so bad that if I take my hand off the steering wheel the car would take me to the ditch. But take me to Colorado for the Vacations. I'm request to talk to another manager and 3 minutes later he came and say I'm not have nothing like this size but in the lot are over 10 suv , I'm mention above all the problem and that I'm need 4×4 for the place I going and he question where I'm going, I'm talk Red Feather Lake Colorado, all this, he in he phone in Snapchat and he look the weather and say not to much snow dear, you can make to dear, I mention him that I going to call the police to make report because I'm know the car not make to where I going in mountains and the problem car has, he turn he,s back and left when I question the name. So we left and Everything was closed that night so we drive to the cabin where we stay and next day are snow fall and we ready to go to the city to buy food and better clothes for the winter, but the suv stuck in the snow. We tried to move back and front and car not move at all, call enterprice and they refer me to Roadside assistance and they talk my they bring me another suv, wait wait all day and receiving text messenger from Roadside assistance and 1st never show up any tow truck, that day i'm receive more that 12 messenger that the tow are in the way and cancel becaused bad weather .All the neighbors next to the cabin leave in winter, waiting and waiting, nothing I 'm can do. Day 26, early morning messenger from roadside asist and never came, I'm start get stressed, the food start to finish and we are Stranded, call and call Over 45 call and 27 messenger from Roadside asist, only they did is lie and lie to me.. Sorry I say this sorry bad a lot of idiots in the customer service and roadside asist, no one help me correctly , 3 or 4 hung me up and I'm mention above I'm not have food and need help and they don't care. Day 27 ..Receive a call early from tow truck that he are in the Airport amd they not have a SUV ,, ANOTHER lie, I'm Go to my phone and did a reservation in the Denver Colorado Airport under my wife for a Big Suv and reserve, but the manager say no , so the town truck left and never received a car that day we not have food that day and still and stuck in the cabin and nothing closed here so I can walk dear, the close market are like 15 miles from the cabin, call and call customer service and roadside asist ,and nothing , receiving more text and more text that the asig another tow truck .. That night we not have food and sleep without eat, all the family, 3 children. 3 minor , no one care from enterprice and customer service, So i'm look the Enterprise Corp phone but the company are close, call every day and they company close, so keep calling and calling because I need help , so that when I'm see that my family are in bad situations .. That morning I'm feel so bad, I need help and I'm Call the 911 and they talk me to call The Sherrif Dep to see if they provide me food for me and my family , and they not can help me but he will call a local market to see if they can bring the food , so i'm call National Emergency of United State and they give the number for the Attorney State of Colorado and speak to a Ladie and she tranfer to another people that he help me and talk me to call the CO from enterprice and she give to me, but never respond. She provide my another number and she ear all the problem and concern I'm having and she talk me Sr you not in vacation, you and your family are Stranded and Emergency, because you not have food and not have a car to move if any Emergency,, Look the weather and here in the city where we stay has a warning of avalanche.. and not have a car to drive.. Thank to God nothing bad happens only snow And more snow and car stuck more and not food., 1:30pm receiving a call from the Local sheriff office that a good Samaritan they go and picked up the food in the close market , please call amd make a shop amd pay and he bring to me, but still not done the exchange car , only receiving messenger and messenger and I'm calling roadside assistance and nothing. Day 27 all day stay in the cabin with no car ,only receiving messenger and more and more stress and stress, calling amd calling to see where the other car, never in my life I'm imagine in this situation. That day nothing resolved, no car.. Day 28 at 3:45am receiving a call from Urgently Inc becaused they get asign to pick the car and bring another , they are on the way..lie , lie. And 5:43 am receive a text from this company that the tow not can't came and they cancel, but never have one suv, only lie to me , becaused when the real town go to pick suv in the Airport they not give one. I speak to the Manager and I'm mention all me situation and don't care and talk me that he can not give a car all there car has reserved.. So the tow truck left.. waiting and waiting and getting more stress and stress, headaches and no one care about all my situation.. finaly after 28 call and escalating the case , and pay $200 to a men, who came to collect the trash and question if we need help , we say yes and with he truck and the hitch the men pull the truck from the snow where stuck , but only the Gmc did is spilling rear tire because 4×2 and he talk we not can go anywhere with this car and take us to the city , Ft Collins, to enterprice local store to rent another car , but when we dear and tried to rent they want give me a Mitsubishi mirage and i'm talk no , it is not 4×4, in that moment i received a call from a Enterprise ladie that they have a Suv like the one a have and where I'm, I'm say here in local enterprise tried to rent another car to see if start enjoy my vacation, and she talk me someone will take me to the other location where the Chevy Suburban.. Finaly one person help me and finally i'm drive a car after 4 day Estranged , i'm left with the Suburban and when start driving at 30 mph make loud noise , loud , I did call back the store and talk the ladie that the car make noise and she talk me if I'm can bring back, I only drive to chick fill a to eat and drive back, she say the men drive the SUV from the other store never ear no noise, Look like she accuse me again that I did that damage , I say I call you back after drive 40mph and ear that noise.. when I was in the store she say not have nothing like the suburban and offer a Mazda cx7 4×4, but to small for 7 people . So i left with the chevy suburban and drive to Walmart at 65mph is insoportable, humming noise came from the left side .. Never call the Georgia store because it's not they fault, all the fault are the Manager team from Denver Colorado and Customer service and the worst one Roadside assistance.. 0 star.. Day 29.. Early morning receiving a call from Roadside assistance that the tow truck are on the way to pick the Suv, and I need to be here, I talk the ladie sorry but I ready to enjoy my vacation i'm have another car and is my first day I going to enjoy and take my family to places and park. If came and pick the car I'm leave the key inside the car and she talk me to leave the key in the glove department . , so I 'm left the key dear and left in the suburban with my family to park and place to enjoy vacation , after all day came back to the cabin and the SUV are dear, never pick.. Day 30. 8:30am phone ring and it was I tow truck in my address to pick the SUV and the driver say the SUV not dear , I'm Go dear and the GMC not dear , at the moment I'm scared ,call the Roadside assistance and the ladies talk me that the Gmc Yukon are stolen and are my fault and I'm need to call 911 to report stolen, I'm talk the ladie is not my responsibility anymore, I'm have another car and i don't care , you call the police not me, ,, the ladie say the car are in my current address and I say no, I here freezing and the Yukon not here, I question what car you looking and she say the Chevy suburban , really ladie,, not that one, the GMC YUKON is the one not here .. and she say I'm can't look that one if was stolen.. Really.?? You can look the suburban but not the Yukon .?? She say yes.. not can located the GMC YUKON. So i'm hung up.. another id... and call local enterprise where they give the Chevy Suburban and the manager say let me do call and search and I'm call you back, 3,4 minutes later she call me and say the Yukon are in The Firestone shop we send a Local tow truck to pick and send to correct the pulling and vibration.. With all the stress and more stress, I'm so mad in that moment because this problem and Enterprise and roadside assistance has so bad miscommunication.. lucky that I never call 911 to report the SUV STOLEN ,I'm call the local office.. and finaly everything going the correct way, but Enterprise screw all my vacation so bad that never in my life has this bad experience, where my daughter call daddy I want milk and food and I'm nothing I can do..
