Customer service

Very rude woman working at the drive through! Missed the microphone to order and as soon as I arrived at the window she asked me if I was picking up if not I had to make line again to place order because I missed the microphone. What made me more upset was that she wouldnt even let me speak she said what she said and walked away!!! Not professional at all!! 4058 tweety Blvd South Gate ca 90280 On 8/23/23 at 1:45pm

Not Satisfied

El Pollo Loco used to be my favorite chicken place to eat. Not anymore! It is bad enough the prices were raised, but the quality has gone down. I went to the one in Pasadena, CA on Rosemead Blvd. The dark chicken was very dry. The rice, which is usually good, tasted like it was three days old. I had to throw out the chips, which were probably a couple days old. They were so hard that I could not bite into them. Very Disappointed!

I had this meal on July, 28. And Door Dash delivered. It was delicious and I had one piece of chicken leftover. Ate that with, chips, mashed potatoes with gravy, and Coleslaw, Then, I got an upset stomach that needed prescription medication. The medication helped and I slept most of the day in the fetal position. I had many visits to the bathroom as well. Im sure you have an idea of what I was experiencing!!! I called the restaurant and it was so noisy she couldnt hear me and blew me off immediately, click hung up on me. I wanted to warn them that I had Food Poisoning. I know that my symptoms were spot on!! I tried to message the Corporate Support and no answer. Email didnt go through!!! Frustrated much???

A Complaint about the Company and the Manager Katlina in Glendale AZ

I went to pick up a Salad and had a Very Horrible Experience with the lady taking the order and then the Manager Katlina - she needs to go back to Customer Service School and not call her Customers Liars ( she should have learned that in Customer Service School, she forgot the Customer is usually right even if you hate to say it, but she evidently was sleeping during that course and forgot ... You never call your Customer a Liar. She needs a sit down and maybe a Demotion until she learns that the Customer is Right and not to call or Insinuate the Customer is a Liar. I'm currently writing a Complaint Letter to Corporate about my Experience and alot about Katlina the so called Manager.

No Chicken in Order

I ordered a 12 piece family meal at the store on Winnetka in Canoga Park. When I was handed the bag, the girl at the window did not state that there was a second bag. I drove all the way home to find no chicken. I drove all the way back, where they tried to claim that I had been told to wait for another bag. Not true. The girl at the window (a different one this time) couldn't have cared less when I told her that I was angry. Her comment was that she wasn't the one at the window the first time, so she could do nothing about it. Really? I understand that mistakes happen. A truly reputable company does what it can to try to make it right. How about adding a couple extra pieces of chicken or an extra side? Maybe a drink? When I deal with a company that tries hard to make things right after a mistake, I have no problem with purchasing from them again.

Horrible service

My girlfriend and I walked all the way over to El pollo loco on Long Beach Blvd. 6th st.. I went inside an immediate. All that there was nobody at the customer service line, and had to wait 10 minutes for them to. For them to take my order. Then I waited an additional 30 minutes without receiving my food. The table was dirty the floors were dirty I asked. I asked for someone to clean the table off, and they just gave me napkins and told me to do it myself.. I was so angry. After waiting so long, I didn't even want the food, and didn't want to have a confrontation. So I just walked out. Having not received my food that I paid for.. I would appreciate a refund. But it is not necessary.. I can't believe this restaurant, which I used to frequent, has. Sunk so low The restaurant is located on Long Beach Blvd. Near 6th st. In Long Beach. CA.

I had an incorrect messed up order

I ordered at eight piece leg and thigh family meal. It came with six pieces of chicken, one pack of flour tortillas so only two flour tortillas. The churros had no sugar or cinnamon on them. I am disappointment. I called when I got home and complained asked to speak to a manager. I was put on hold for 10 minutes And then hung up on because it was close to closing at 11p.m. I have my receipt.

Wrong Orders, Rude Employees

El Pollo Loco your employees get the orders wrong (quite often), but this time instead of an apology, one of them had the nerve to yell at me, "to get your order right it's gonna take 20 more minutes bro"!!! I am not your "bro". I'm the hungry customer to whom you are being rude and disrespectful. This is for the ElPolloloco at 3290 W Shaw Ave, Fresno, CA 93711. Of course, I returned the wrong order, they lost the order, the food was wasted, they refunded my money and they earned this negative review on social media. #polloloco #wrongorder #rude #disrespectful #negativereview

Gift card

About 2 mos. ago, I purchased a $50. gift card from El Pollo Loco and not having any luck using it. I also got a free bundle of 12 tacos for this gift card purchase. I had to call a customer support rep to have it added to my account to be able to order it. The rep added it to my app to use when ordering. That finally worked and now I need to have my $50 gift card added. Apparently, they don't add to app automatically at the time of purchase. Now I want to order using this gift card and it is not showing in my app to use when ordering. I have tried desperately t o make this happen and am not having any luck getting this done by customer service. What do I need to make this happen? I don't want to waste $50 trying to get my value for this!!

Hair in my burrito

My first encounter with this establishment results in a long strand of someone's *** hair in my food. If that is how they conduct business at 5030 Gosford Rd in Bakersfield, they should not be trusted with public health standards. The strand of hair was so deep inside the tortilla that it had to have fallen when they were preparing the food and they didn't notice it at all while making the food, giving the customer zero confidence in how they conduct their safety and health procedures in the kitchen. Nobody should eat here, in my opinion.

I have a complain to make about a store

I place lots of different orders in your online delivery app for El pollo loco and every single time there's always an issue with my order. It's either wrong or missing items. No dressing for the salads so I have to replace another order for new ones and spend extra money.ive tried calling them directly and complaining to the store but the never offer any salutations or compensation. I'm fed up with their service and only continue to use them because it's the only store I can place online orders with in the app and be able to contact them directly to add condenments don't use that El pollo loco store for delivery at all

0n july 27, 2022 my husband and i went through the drive thru, the female named sonia Atook my debit card and returned it by shoving it in to me, as i waited for my order she and another female along

bad service, like i have never experienced before, i am 68 years old. how dare her treating my husband and me in that way. estoy muy molesta por esa experiencia desagradable, mi marido es abogado y no tendriamos problema entablar un law suit. pero espero una gran desculpa de la compania y saver que esos empleados que me offendieron sean despedidos o castigados, para que no lo vuelvan hacer mas,,, gracias sra. Went to get chicken 10 dollar meal a promotion I downloaded your app for free nachos when I place the order the manager said could only use one promotion we said we did see where it said that .

This is my second complaint about this place if the chicken was not good and the price is right I probably would not go there again.

Problem with order, opened late, came to work to sit and eat

1) no salad dressing yesterday 2) opened late today 3) worker came to work an immediately had a lunch break 10 minutes after opening 4) no extra chicken as ordered 5) quality of lettuce 6) added salad dressing before delivery so tostada was sloppy 7). Drive thru closed

Incorrect order three times in a row

Ordered online delivery and the order was wrong. Third time in a row. Had to go to the restaurant. Employees were rude and hostile. Manager was cool but he was the only person working. Always liked the food but I will never return to this particular restaurant.
