Cheating by an India (Mumbai) based channel partner of Eclipse and quality problems in the 2 nos. supplied mattresses by him

A local channel partner (Mr Manish Narang) of Eclipse International, based out of Mumbai (India) cheated us during the supply of two Eclipse mattresses early this year. 1 He charged us Rs 45,000 (Rs 22,500 per mattress) towards the supplies of two orthopaedic mattresses (in Jan21).However , he supplied us mattresses worth Rs 17,200 only. ! (Rs 8600 each) Picture of the price tag attached. 2 The substandard mattresses, quite obviously sagged within less than 6 months of usage , being of inferior quality. The mattresses were duly inspected by Eclipse's Mumbai based company representative , who confirmed the problems encountered in the supplied products. We are now demanding that : 1 We be supplied by two new orthopaedic mattesses , worth Rs 45000 total - since that is the amount we paid. 2 The quality parameters of the replaced product be shared with us in advance , so that we do not face a repeat of the earlier issues. 3 We also request the company to black list such channel partners like Mr Manish Narang who have resorted to unfair trade practices/cheating etc. An aggrieved customer Sunil Bahl Ph: +91-9920****97

Mattress is in poor condition

I purchased an eclipse mattress in the year of 2015. One part of the mattress got compressed and now it's not in usable condition though it's very much essential..it

Horrible bed

Paid $1400 for this bed after financing and delivery and and a year later it dips when I get in the bed. It’s looks fine till you lay down and down you go. Hard to roll over now bc thebedge if the bed is still very firm and now about a foot away from the edge it sinks when I get in and I only weigh 140 lbs

WORST MATTRESS EVER! Returning the 2nd.

First mattress, pillow top, less than 6 months use, mattress caved lengthwise, in the center. Exchanged for non-pillowtop version of same mattress. 3 months later, it was worst than the first! Buying a cheaper one now of different manufacturer to hold us until we can recoup losses from the HORRIBLE Eclipse International Mattresses.

Eclipse mattress breakdown

I bought an eclipse mattress and foundation in May of 2017 and by August of 2017 that was a massive breakdown in the mattress I mean the mattress on one side when I slide out of bed was really defective and it's a big 6 to 8 in depression on the side the company sent me a warranty application and on it it ask for a warranty code on the law tag there is no code warranty code on the tag.

Worst Ever!

Total waste of money! Worst mattress ever! We've owned or less than a year and are going today to purchase a new mattress. We stay in constant pain since owning this mattress. We rarely sleep well. It's not even comfortable.

Eclipse accolade mattresses

I was interested and brought higher end mattress supposed to be patent one and 5 zone support which I though would be good to my neck. I laid on it in the showroom for 3 mts and felt cushioned feel to my shoulder but sleeping on it whole night was nightmare to my neck and back and had I reviewed all these peoples reviews I wouldn't have dared to bring it home and I am glad my dealers helped me taking back with some transport charges.they need be trained which one to be advised for what problem and most of the reviewers are not happy with the quality and service in india. I am a doctor I know what it feels with good support and doesn't have to wait for months together to adjust to the new mattresses (expensive version ) .

I have purchased two nos of mattresses of world best brand of Eclipse (series: Ortho,mod: Orthotopic)Size:183cmx91cmx13cm, Batch no: 252911****24 A product of New Delhi. Ecilpse vista firm

Second ecilpse mattress, 1st one failed after 6 mos and store said they do not have that one anymore and gave me a vista firm. This too has failed. Now try and get it warrantied. Near inmpossible. they are masters of the runaround and even store were I bought it claims increased paperwork to file a claim because so many *** were filing complains. anyway manufactorer in Houston Texas, sleep designs makes my mattress and will not warranty it. they say it's the store who warrantys its and store saids its sleep designs. get it the big run around fromeveyone from corporate hq to local store.

Eclipse mattresses are pretty good but the services provided by them are not at all upto the mark. First it was supplied the wrong size and then the spoiled one and till now waiting for the exchange. No one is responding. Even the dealer is not able to respond. Kindly work out with your after sales.

Eclipse International Mattress Mattress Review from Pampanga, Davao

Worst mattress and customer service ever!! We were tossing between Eclipse and Simmons and ended up buying the Genesis mattress because of its "chiropractor recommended" seal and all. After a few months, our mattress ended up sagging as well, giving us terrible back aches! For a pricey mattress, they couldn't even offer international warranty. I tried contacting their head office but they ended just passing me around. They just really want your money and dont care abt your satisfaction at all! DO NOT BUY AN ECLIPSE MATTRESS!!

Sinking mattress

I am soooo glad to know that I am not the only one with this issue. I have the BIGGEST HOLE in the middle of my new mattress. I hate this thing and I just bought it. Shame on me for not investigating this company before I bought this horrible product. I will NEVER make this mistake again. The warranty is the worst in the industry.....they do not warrant anything. Do not buy an ECLIPSE mattress.......EVER........you will be sorry!!!! Do not waste your money like I did.

No response on warranty - bed sink and spring sound!

I bought this Eclipse mattress (Model name: FAIRFIELD, Model No.: 1001) in 2010 and got it delivered in 2011, since early 2014 the mattress started to sink and oftenly heard spring sound when sit or change sleeping position. Hence I try to call the showroom and got to know the showroom no longer there (it was at Kota Damansara branch). Thus, I then called other contacts which available in the invoice and delivery order (Bangsar HQ and Sg Buloh factory) but all the numbers are not reachable. The printed company name in the invoice is BEDDING SOLUTIONS (M) SDN BHD. I then try my luck to contact them at http://www.eclipsemattress.com/. I posted 3 times at their 'Contact Us' page on my warranty concern, but no one reply at all!

Warranty Issue Eclispe Mattress and Foundation

Before you purchase an Eclispe Mattress and foundation check with the Better Business Bureau (“BBB”) of New Jersey you will see Eclispe Of New Jersey Eclispe International has received a “F” rating, the lowest rating the BBB gives to a company. It is my understanding the “F” rating was given to Eclispe because of their lack of response to the BBB and not being able to resolve customer warranty complaints. I have read on-line multiple complaints about the warranty not being honored. I also found out that you are responsible to bring the mattress or foundation back to the company’s North Brunswick, NJ factory to have the mattress or foundation evaluated and repaired if required. This clause within the warranty was not explained by the store at the time we purchased the mattress and foundation. If it had been explained I would not have purchased the mattress and foundation because of the potential cost to bring the defective product to the factory. I should have done more research into the manufacturer prior to purchasing the Eclispe Mattress and Foundation. If I did, I would not have made the purchased and wouldn’t be having to deal with manufacturing and warranty issues today. My wife and I purchased an Eclispe Mattress and Foundation Normandy Model with a 20 year warranty from a local store. Within 1 year of the purchase the foundation started to make a lot of noise when ever you got in or out of the bed or even rolled over in the bed. The noise was loud enough to wake you up and makes it impossible to get a good night sleep. When I complained to the store I purchased the mattress and foundation the owner agreed the foundation was defective and provided us with a new one. The new one lasted less than 6 months before we had the same problem. The noise sounds as if the foundation is breaking when ever you move in the bed. When I tried to contact the store again I was informed they went out of business. I wasn't too concerned as my warranty for the mattress and foundation was with Eclispe International and should still be honored. I contacted Eclispe Mattress location in North Brunswick, NJ both on the phone and through email and as requested I returned the required claim package to Eclispe. When I filed the claim with Eclispe I received the following “In response to this claim we'd be more than happy to repair or replace the foundation. Our warranty is all inclusive in terms of repair or replacement. The industry standard for repair or replacement is performed at the factory discretion. The transportation costs are the consumer responsibility on a national basis. We are willing to get a foundation to a store close to your location where you can make the exchange. Usually the factory makes the determination here at the factory however in this case because the store unfortunately when out of business we’re bypassing a step in the warranty process.” We appreciated Eclispe at least offered to get a foundation to a store close to our home. However this would still require us to rent a truck and get help carrying the foundation and bringing the foundation to the store. In less then 18 months from our purchase we have received 2 foundations of which both have been defective. Each of them appeared to have the same defect. The foundations do breakdown quickly causing lots of noise when ever you move within the bed. Our combined body weigh is not factor in the foundation issue. The foundations like the mattress have a 20 year warranty. I felt Eclispe should have offered to deliver a new foundation to our home and replace the defective one. If I had the foundation for more than 5 years and started running into problems I would understand based on the warranty it would be my responsibility to bring the foundation to them. But if you received 2 defective foundations within 18 months it shouldn’t cost you transportation fees to replace a defective product. Unless you have the means to return a defective mattress and / or foundation to Eclispe factory with very little or no cost I would not purchase an Eclispe product. If you do decide to purchase one of their products you need to be prepared to spend money each time you have an issue with their product. In our case it would have been 2 times within 18 months costing an additional $150 - $200 over the original purchase price.
