Extremely dissatisfied with a recent claim experience!!

I had filed a claim for an "Intake Throttle Valve" replacement through an International Truck Center located in Orlando, FL. EasyCare had initially agreed to process the claim for this valve replacement with the only issue being the labor rate that the International Truck Center was charging. I had agreed to pay the difference in the labor rate charge to the Truck Center to move the repair along. Days later, I was told that EasyCare would not be honoring the claim due to an "exclusion" in the fine print of my policy. So from a "go" on the claim to an 11th hour "no go" on the claim!?! After two hours on the phone with four different EasyCare representatives, I was told that they were sorry for the way the claim was handled,but would not reconsider their "11th" hour position reversal on the claim.

Hold times

I am a service advisor at a hyundai dealership in ky. i have ben on hold for more than a hour trying to file a claim. try the website but i do not have a log in. also i can not get a login cause i can not talk to a representative to assist me. i do not have a contract number or a order # I'am not the selling dealer . if soe would call be back on the number given will be much appreciated thank you

Claim denial from EasyCare appears to be their standard business practice.

Claim for transmission replacement was denied by EasyCare because a converter wasnt housed within the transmission casing. The transmission itself has failed and EasyCare will not honor the warranty.

Coverage of my car

I wanted to talk to someone on the phone and not on the internet. Since that is not possible, I will try this way. I wante to know if my car was covered bumper to bumper or just certain parts. I have no claim now.

Not a fair company

Your company was charging me for every month without my knowledge when the customer service representative didnt explain to me that I will be paying each month thats fair to the customer who buys your company plans I will be in contact with your company

No help whatsoever rude, absolutely not helpful and lied about help being on the way. After three calls no help after 2 hours

Cannot afford

I have apparently purchased Easy Care they took $182.50 out of my account and I cannot afford that so I would like to cancel the plan.

IMPOSSIBLE TO CANCEL

JUI purchased a new car in April 2021, canceled the warranty in June and still haven't gotten it credited to my loan. Refused to cancel GAP unless I refinanced or paid off the loan. I thought these were optional add ons? NEVER LET A DEALERSHIP CON YOU INTO THESE!!!

Refuse to cover repairs

I purchased my vehicle and on the way driving it home I had lights come on (ABS, Traction control, 4WD) called the dealership and they said to call service. Their service dept could not get me in until months later told I could take it to an ASE certified Jeep dealership. Took it the garage said a wheel bearing is bad and ABS sensor. Easy care said they would not cover it because it has rust on it and was preexisting to me buying it that it could not have happened in the miles I had driven it. I had to pay $100 out of my pocket for the diagnostic check and the repairs will be $800+

Will not honor their warranty

I have the Total Care plan and brought my car in for regular maintenance a couple of months after purchase. The technicians said that the head gasket broke causing the cylinders to warp. No engine lights ever went on (confirmed by the dealer repair shop) and they will not replace the engine because they said I operated the car when damaged.

I cannot find my VSC contract information

I went to the EasyCare website, printed my card and used the coverage type listed on the card to identify my coverage on the website. But there was no match. Moreover, unlike every other insurance company I've encountered, the EasyCare website does not provide the consumer with his or her account and coverage details after the consumer provides his or her personal and vehicle details. Of course, the company also does not offer 24/7/365 customer service for its consumers. For this opaque and devious system, I pay about $130.00/month. That's more than I pay per month for my high deductible health plan, another industry that delivers less value than what one pays for. I will look to cancel my coverage before I waste additional money on this "service.'

Ripoff

Bought a 2016 f150 at 72k miles and threatened end malfunctioned at 78k miles and they won't pay! The service person at the dealer even said the do whatever they can not to pay!

Bought the insurance and they totally dropped the ball

We bought a used motorcoach on 6/18/2020 and was talked into this 5K insurance policy that went on our payments, so 20 years worth of paying for a 4 year plan. The first day on 95North was great, parked in a great park, left the next day for Asheville NC and grand boys. We bought tickets for Jelly Stone Park in Golden Valley for $400, thinking we would finally have some fun after, months of this crazy virus scare. We broke down by mountain #2 on 26W. I said "so glad we bought the insurance." I called Easy Care and was told a tow truck would come and take our coach to Ken Wilson Ford, that they were authorized and would evaluate the problem and fix the coach. Hours went by and finally a tow truck driver called, he said its going to be awhile I am 2 hours away in SOUTH CAROLINA!. He also said he charges $150 per hour. I told him that I would check to see if there was someplace closer to Asheville and found a guy for $650 to do the same thing, but the SC tow truck driver said he would bill Easy Care direct, and the guy I found would want cash. So it gets better. Finally the SC guy calls and says, my truck is too big to get close enough to hook up, so my husband had to drive 9 miles with the coach to hook up! Then the SC tow truck driver asked, NOW WHERE DO I TAKE THIS???? Later that day I checked to make certain it arrived because I never heard from Ken Wilson or the SC driver, so I called, and a woman said yeah, I saw an RV come in. I gave her all details being put on hold like 3 times, gave her my phone number which is also my phone number. I was told once they have a diagnostic I would find out if the problem is even covered. I read word for word, the contract of which 2/3 of the contract is what is NOT covered. And then nothing happened, I called, my son in law called, finally he went in person and a guy told him they would get to it soon. More time went by, no calls nothing from Easy care, nothing about do you have a car, do you need a car, do you have a place to stay, are you alright? Nothing. so finally after several days I talked to Rick who said "Its been raining and I cant ask my mechanics to lay on the ground in the rain. We finally hired a private mechanic who fixed it for $1100. We are still waiting for Easy Care to call us back. We have been trying to cancel our contract for over a week, we contacted Travel Camp 5 times for assistance with cancellation instruction and have not had this resolved as yet.
