Replace quest plumbing and fittings
In 2010 I asked Chris DuVal to replace all the quest plumbing and fittings in my Williamsburg house. We agreed a price , he claimed to have done the work and I paid him. I now com to find that most fittings were indeed replaced but the piping was not. One fitting remained in a the down stairs sink and that fitting burst about 4 months ago, caused a flood, and was replaced at my own expense. Next I have a leak in the upstairs bathroom. The quest pipework had not been replaced abd was starting to leak. Just a day or so ago another leak in a downstairs area. I called in the plumber. It appears that all the original quest piping was still in place. It had been painted to make it look like plex. This make me sick. Not only have I had three major leaks in this house but Chris had the audacity to use spray paint to make it look like the work had been done. He represents the very worst example of dishonesty. He is around somewhere I hope to find him someday. If you know of his whereabouts please post it. The vast majority of contractors are hard working honest people. It takes a character like this guy to ruin the profession for all of you. His company also ran a real estate and property management businesses. Stay well clear of him and any one connected to him and I hope his past deeds follow him wherever he goes.

Good employees , Bad management.
They are really disrespectful to the customers and their employees. I worked for them for about 3 years and it was the worst experience i ever had. Really nice people but no business sense when it comes to treating an employee like a person and their customer service is batting on zero. After working for a company for more than 30 years and enjoying the experience i can not believe that a company like this still exists. Don't get me wrong they are really nice people but they don't have a clue about customer service or employee relations, its all about the money. Very dishonest business practices. Save yourself the heart ache and steer clear of this place. Anyone with any skills at all, don't be like me and waste your time working for the most disrespectful people i have ever met. Mr Duval (Robin) and his son Chris are great people and Brian is a great person also, but Brian should get out of the HVAC and Plumbing business, he is no leader. I am not sorry for the experience of learning how a company can fail after working for a really successful for so many years but i would have rather seen them do a lot better.I really hope they make some changes and the business grows but not with me i tried and can not deal with their present practices.

To whom it may concern, This is the absolute *** company I've ever experienced. Every single person in charge should lose their job. The customers and employees are treated like *** and I will be sure to tell EVERYONE I know or anyone who asks NOT to deal with DuVal heating/ac/plumbing. I, personally, know several employees who work for this company and they are disrespected and taken advantage of on a daily basis. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone, even if I hated them. I wish I could go to work each day, give a horrible performance and still get paid--it must be nice!
