Complaint.

Bought my tires in Dec. less than 3600 miles on them. Tire sensor light came on, I called for the tires to be checked and looked at. Went there Friday after making an appointment. I was told there was absolutely nothing wrong with my tires and the rear passenger sensor was broke. The sales associate tried to sell me 4 sensors saying with the age of the car, I should replace them all. I said no thank you. He seemed shocked but said okay. He insisted the tires were all fine and I need the sensor replaced. I left the Sheridan drive, Amherst Location, drove home less that 2 miles. Did not use the car Saturday or Sunday. Started Driving to work Monday, half the pressures was out of the passenger rear tire. Made another appointment. They fixed the tire and a miracle THE SENSOR LIGHT they tried to tell me was broken and I should replace all four, went out . Its still working!! I wasted 2 different afternoons there. I am not happy at all. I was not happy when I bought my tires either. I was told they replaced tie rods and ball joint. Paid $ 1532.01 and the car is still rattling and bouncing around.

They screwed up my car

Went for flat repair. Told can't repair it. After purchasing 2 new tires I'm told the tpms light will go off in 25-50 miles it did not. It worked when I brought it in Go back now they want more money. They obviously screwed up the valve when they removed old tire incorrectly now I have to pay for their mistake. It worked fine until they removed the old tire. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.as far as I'm concerned they owe me. Speaking to them was a waste of time...excuses for everything

Treated rudely

I had always been satisfied and comfortable with Dunn until today. My name was called and proceeded to check out. I asked a couple of questions about service rendered. Proceeded to rear lot to retrieve my car. It was not there. Went inside and was confronted to confirm that I had a Subaru and verify my plate nbr. Then went outside to verify not my car. He took me to the front lot and asked if my car was there. It was. He walked away. This was a situation that could have been resolved by simply saying "Let's check out front." He insisted I couldn't hear because I had ear buds in. He overreacted to blame me. I will not be returning to that location.

Treated rudely at check out.

My many years of interaction with Dunn had always been positive until today. My name was called and I proceeded to check out. I confirmed my name and asked a couple of questions about the service rendered. I paid and proceeded to rear door to my car. My car was not there. Went inside to inform person. He said he asked me 3 times who I was insinuating I could not hear him because I had ear buds in and questioned if had a suburu and verify my license nbr. Went outside to verify not my car. Again said the problem was that I could not hear because of ear buds. Took me to front and asked if my car was there. It was but I have never had my car left in front after service. He could have simply said " let's check out front". His rudeness was uncalled for. It was a simply resolved situation. He made me uncomfortable. I will not return to that location.

Alignment

On July 25, 2022, I had a front end alignment in Jamestown, NY. On 8/13, with only 1400 miles since alignment, the left front tire is trash and is still pulling to the right. We were on vacation from Florida and had already left the area. When I called the store in Jamestown on 7/30/2022 where the service was done. They basically blew me off. I also have pictures of the tire. I saw the 6 month or 6,000 mile warranty on my receipt. I would like my money back that I paid for the alignment. I spoke with Tristan L. and Steve H. Road hazard rip off

I tried to use my road hazard policy on a tire that was deemed to be unrepairable, after I was told the amount of my credit and all the extras that were getting added back to it I was expected to hand over nearly as much as just buying a new tire. You over charge on parts and service and deliver junk. No I do not want you to break another of my valve stems to check it and give me one that dies in a few months and doesnt match the rest. No I do not want you hammering steel weights on my aluminum rims and blaming me because I didnt specify, after you just scraped off the stick on ones. I just wanted my tire fixed or replaced like you guarantee, not a big bag of fluff to make it look like Im getting a lot for nothing. Instead, after buying all my tires from that store and arguing with them every time they screw it up, Ive had enough. You nothing for your customer but break their vehicles and suck money out of their pocket! Camillus, ny!

Complaint about your Auburn Store Manager Craig Kopp

On March 22, 2022 my 88 year old Father who has Dementia and is Hearing Impaired went to Dunn Tire for a Inspection on his vehicle. My Dad was a LONG TIME Customer of Dunn Tire, but on 3/22/2022 my Father was pressured into paying upfront for parts that were ordered. Dunn Tire purposely failed the car inspection and scared my Father into having parts replaced on his car, when there WERE STILL 5 more weeks left before the Inspection expired. Craig Kopp the Store Manager, charged my Elderly Father $737.72, for parts that could of been bought at a cheaper price. Store Manager Craig Kopp of the Auburn, NY Dunn Tire Store lied to cover up his dishonesty and taking advantage of a elderly man. When I the daughter called on March 23 at 5:49 pm to Dunn Tire, I was told my Father had to come in with his credit card to be refunded for the parts that were ordered. I drove my Father to Dunn on March 24. I was confronted by Craig Kopp. My Dad had his receipts and credit card. Craig Kopp informed both of us that the parts that were ordered were special ordered parts and that the $365.65 could not be refunded. Its then when the confrontation began. Craig Kopp immediately tried silencing me after I challenged him by saying there was nothing on the paperwork stating anything about Sales are Final with Special Ordered Parts. Most places will order the parts and you pay for the service when the work is complete. I feel Craig Kopp bullied and pressured my Father into paying upfront, including the labor of 197.98. Dunn Tire did reimburse my Father for the labor. Did I mention the parts were ordered? So Craig Kopp did not try to cancel the order. Showed very poor and a unprofessional attitude towards me and my 88 year old Father. Craig told me to BE QUIET when he was on the phone with another customer. He was standing behind me and it echoed in the room. Dunn Tire has lost a long time Customer because of Craig Kopp. He showed no remorse toward my Father and treated me terribly. My Father also has a heart condition and this ordeal has shaken him up. I will be contacting the Corporate Headquarters of Dunn Tires and reporting the mistreatment that my Father and I sustain from a Unprofessional, Heartless, and BULLY Store Manager!!! Dont Go To Auburn Dunn Tire they Liars and Scammers!!!

Put my teenage sons BRAND NEW tires on on his way home the back tire wasn't sealed and it blew on a main road

First off your customer service What happened? This was the only place we would get tires for the last 12 years. The staff you have working up front act like they were never taught how to talk with people Rude, sloppy,and if you dare ask them a question they're response sounds so uneducated It seriously made me laugh. Now let's talk about the tires you put on my teenage sons car, Brand New! He was driving home and here's a loud noise next thing he's losing control of his car because his back rear tire blows off!! We put his spare on drive back there one of your not so intelligent staff members say well you need a new tire and tell me what it's going to cost NOPE YOUR PAYING FOR IT ! we just left I just paid over $750 dollars now you wanna charge me for your mistake! And then to top it off you jacked up my kids rims then said did you have pictures of what they looked like before No I didn't think it was necessary to take pictures of my son's rims prior to him getting brand-new tires you think your mechanics would respect my sons' property. When I called and put in a complaint to corporate the idiot I spoke to was no help, he asked me how he could make this better by doing more intense training, so his staff was better???? It's TOO LATE, YOUR COMPANY WILL NEVER GET ANOTHER PENNY FROM US, I HAVE WARNED EVERYONE I KNOW TO STAY AWAY. Go to your dealership and buy from them 100% trust in WEST HERR!!

I went in to get price of tires for my Ford Fusion. Waited in line behind 3 customers and when it was my turn the person that was tries to help me. Started checking when this short salesman said you will have to wait we have customers to get first. I have spent hundreds of dollars in the past. I think he is bad for your business, I was really hurt . So I bought tires elsewhere.

Parts

Went into Dunn Tire in Niagara Falls NY to have 4 new tires and inspection done on my 2011 Chevy Pickup. After waiting 1 1/2 hours went into service area to talk to a mechanic, he showed me a tear in a rubber boot on my CV half shaft. I told him to replace the part, and he said it would be an easy fix. $300.00 dollars later, and another two hours later, it was very obvious the mechanic had no idea what he was doing. This was obvious this was his first time doing this. I asked the guy at the front desk what the problem was, and he told me to quit watching him work. REALLY ! Not that you have any control of part prices, but 300 dollars for a rubber boot. This is utterly ridiculous !

Unhappy with service

I bought 4 General tires last fall and soon after, 1 of the tire stems quit registering on my dashboard. I called and asked what the psi should be and they said you have to go by the sticker inside the drivers door which was 30. After 5,000 miles I made sure all 4 tires were at 30 psi and I went in for rotation and said since the tire stem still held and took air, i wasn't going to buy a new one. when i left i checked the dashboard and all tire readings had been shut off. When i got home i checked the pressure again and all 4 tires were inflated to 37 psi. Were they hoping my tires would wear out faster?

Shady service

Took tires that purchased from them several years earlier. Was told they couldn't put on because they were to old, even though they are in perfect shape. Garage storage always. Was told some other garage would probably put them on. So much for lifetime service. Probably wanted me to buy new. Won't be buying tires there anymore.

Outstanding customer service

Tuesday, August 24th, my husband and I were on our way to a funeral for my mother. The sensor light and digital display showed extreme low pressure in the rear tire. I stopped at the Dunn Tire location on Sheridan Drive looking for assistance. An associate, Manie, came to my assistance. This was at 9:10 am and we need to be at the church by 9:30. Manie checked all the tires and it was determined that there was a nail in the tire. He immediately stepped into high gear along with Reilly and Amiya in changing the tire putting the donut on so we could continue on. We did make it on time. These associates went above and beyond.

Unsatisfied service

I spoke with one of your website agents on Friday and explained the situation that my back tire was leaking. He was very friendly and professional and told me I could just bring it in to look at the tire quickly to diagnose the problem of why my air would be leaking out of it more frequently than the other 3. I went to the Webster location today and was told that I needed an appointment just for them to look at it upon arrival because they already had multiple appointments scheduled every hour today. I'm EXTREMELY dissatisfied with the way that the store employee approached the situation as I have a customer service background myself and when I was told to just drop on by to look at it by the online agent I spoke with to have the store employee tell me it was appointment only makes me think that their was a lack of communication somewhere that needs to be resolved so other people don't run into the same frustration that I did this morning. I was already on a tight schedule and just went elsewhere for them to look at, diagnose, and resolve the issue at another establishment. It only took them 15 minutes to figure out the problem and my tire was fixed and I was back on the road in a half hr. As I said, I'm extremely dissatisfied with the way that the staff at Dunn in Webster handled the situation and will be looking elsewhere before I give them any of my business in the future! at he was booked for the whole day
