To see the right balance I owe.

Due to being hacked I had to change my bill pay numbers on my accounts. DTE may be sending my bills to the old account, Im not sure. I hope DTE is getting my payments. So far my bills are showing a credit to my bill. I hope this is correct, but I am using gas and electricity all the time and must owe something to DTE. I think we settled the problem but Im not sure. Id appreciate a call to tell me if it is settled for sure. Cynthia

They have over charged me since 2018

Hello they claimed I had a bill from 2017 or 2018 ..I've paid hundreds of dollars..I have copies from my bank..I never left a bill in my name someone moved in an apartment, I moved out if I did not know to get it out of my name back then..but it was not my bill. But they ( Dte) tacked on$ 879 bill on me I've been paying them and I truly don't understand.. I've been paying two bills.??? I've paid over $1200, and I'm paying $115.00 a month also..this needs to be looked into, I asked them for a refund..I have copies of my payments..

Discontinue service from sale of house

Waited for 1hr and 45 minutes to talk to a representative. Constant music, interrupted by a message apologizing for the delay. Finally gave up. Only to hear the business hours. Of course, I happened to call at closing time. There was NEVER any mention of the business hours. Certainly would not have wasted my time waiting for no one if I had known.

Bill wrong

Got a shutoff notice.bill for near $500. My monthly bill is about $85 per month. To have a bill that high I would have been Behind 6months? No shut of? Im 77 on a fixed income. A mistake like this really hurts! Please help!

Worst customer service ever.

Left 3 requests for call back on moving services issues and associated billing. Sent email regarding the same. Billing showed they owed me $11K one day, next day that I owed $11K. Now billing shows an overcharge of $250, to my credit. Moving services request shows errors. No calls returned. Too many issues to list.

No representatives have answered my calls for 3 days now.

Ive been on hold for 3 hours, for the third day in a row. I NEED to set up an account to get my bill paid!!! This is *** ridiculous. These are my calls from earlier today and yesterday. My powers going to be shut off

Faulty line

I am purchasing a home at 11558 Sanford. I had a home inspection and the inspector said the line is not safe. I want to start service next week, but was told not to, unless I contact your office first. Barbara Cogar 510-282-****

Had to pay DTE and Apt. Management same month billing

I moved it OCT 2 and pd dte in full. Management claims they pd OCT 3 in full and billed me and hounded me tell I can't take it anymore. Dte said they would credit Management. I have no proof from either company's. You can find the last letter Management sent me that I posted on dte in MI site. Us boomers are tired of being taken advantage of.

Power goes out constantly.

My power goes out all the time. I don't think a month has gone by without the power going out for several hours, if not days. I work from home, and not having power makes it difficult if not impossible to do my job. I wish there was something I could do about it, but they're the only energy provider in my area.

A line is down and very vulnerable

A very thin wire (about as thick as a jump rope) stretches from my house toward a pole. It's fragile-looking and should be buried.

"Upgrades" to system causing more issues than prior

Since DTE "upgraded" the electric system in my area, we are experiencing "reset loss of power" on an almost daily basis (regardless of weather), which last only a few seconds, but are extremely annoying and even dangerous. Last evening I was on my stairwell during a loss of power, and fell down the last 3-4 steps because the stairwell went pitch black without warning. These "resets" may only last a few seconds, but they are dangerous, because unlike during a storm event, when one is EXPECTING a possible power loss and can therefore be prepared...these resets can happen at any time and are completely unexpected. This is the 21st century, and my power is behaving as if it were the 1950s! I refuse to believe that we now must "live with" such poor service. I contacted DTE and am given the explanation that the resets are necessary to avoid longer power outages. WHAT??! So I have to deal with my Comcast recordings interrupted, clocks stopped constantly, internet rebooting, and dangerous loss of lighting when least expected, from here on out? Not good. Will be contacting the MI Atty General's office to lodge a more formal complaint.

Recurrent electrical outages. Every time we get a thunderstorm. And they just requested a 9.8% rare hike.

My service is not good. It’s unfair to me as a consumer to have to deal with such low standard of customer care. My power line are awful. My power goes out from the slightest of storms, always last to

My power is out and I still don't have a eta for when it will be restored. Yet my co-worker does. Why is my neighborhood always LAST to be restored? I feel there is a bias based upon race/location.

Plants growing overpower line present a fire hazard

House next door to me has grape vine type plant all over yard that is spread all over the alley and up the transformer pole and needs attention because it poses a fire hazard, and the foliage has grown up to the Transformer. I'm worried that my service line can come loose.
