PAID An EXTRA FEE TO PAY EXTRA ESCROW Payment

I could not be more disappointed in Dovenmuehle I sent an extra escrow payment to them via USPS in April I not only wrote on the check but also wrote on the copy of the statement THREE TIMES TO APPLY TO ESCROW WHOMEVER PROCESSED THE PAYMENT DID WHAT THEY WANTED TO DO AND APPLIED IT TO THE PRINCIPAL THEN I DECIDED TO PAY THE DEFICIT IN THE ESCROW AND CALLED THEM DIRECTLY THIS TIME TO PAY AND WAS TOLD I HAD TO PAY AN ADDITIONAL FEE TO PAY THE ESCROW DEFICIT NEEDLESS TO SAY THEY STILL INCREASED MY MORTGAGE PAYMENT TO COVER NEXT YEARS ESCROW!!! BORROWERS BEWARE IT IS ALL ABOUT THE COMPANY MAKING EXTRA MONEY AND NOT ABOUT HELPING THE BORROWERS THEY COULD CARE LESS ABOUT YOU AND WITH INTEREST RATES DOUBLE WHAT THEY WERE YOU ARE STUCK!!!

ZERO RATING. They are the WORST. Run run as fast as you can

It's a very long story but to make it short, I rec'd a HAF grant (Housing Assistance Fund) to pay over $8000 in covid forebearance in early August. They have yet to apply the money to my loan. They at one point put me in PRE FORECLOSURE. I have since sold the house, but the payoff quote was WRONG because the $8124 of the HAF grant was never applied. So now they're sitting on $8124 I should have rec'd as profit from the sale of my house. I've complained to the Attorney General. I've complained to the CFPB. I just want my MONEY. I'm working on a class action lawsuit because they've done this to MANY HAF recipients all over the country. If you are one, pls reply to this post.

Dovenmuehle has been holding money of mine since 2017.

They contacted me in December 2021 and I promptly requested a refund. It is now June 2022, and no refund. I have made 5 calls to them and each time I call its as if Im calling for the first time. Poor poor company.

Yes my 61 2022 mortgage payment was automatically deducted it is supposed to be $1100 and instead you guys have taken out 1500 and semi dollars I need the rest of my money put back into my account Im at a fixed 30 year rate I I am the bank do not understand why you took out that much money for a mortgage payment if you guys could get a phone number and please phone me back I would surely appreciate it thank you

Frustation to no end, Covid19 Forbearance and exiting

I went through a Covid19 Forbearance, like many other people, I have an FHA loan that was current when I entered, I used the maximum 18mo. period and exited. I have made my regular payments every month since, starting in Oct21, now here it is May 22, and they keep requesting more paperwork, said I wasn't eligible for the FHA program, and now going through loan mitigation. Now I'm getting collection calls and letters threatening foreclosure, argh! My understanding was it should have been completed in 90-120 days, by the FHA guidelines. I have filed a complaint with FHA and currently starting to work with HUD here in Ca. I've also found a legal firm that has a pending class action suit against Dovenmuehle for CARES act violations, I'm inquiring if my situation might be of interest to them. In the writing of this complaint I have spent 30 minutes on hold with them, trying to speak to someone in customer service. Ridiculous.

Your stealing our money every month! Give it back!!!

They are taking 1600.00 a month out of our account. They sold our mortgage to another company last year. But continue to steal from us and they refuse to fix it. Getting ahold of this company is impossible at this time. Isnt FRAUD a crime Dovenmuehle?.

Cost of funds on closing

I had a loan through your mortgage company. I sold my condo March 23 coast title since you pay off of 88,000 and some out sense. Due to a mistake showing lack of insurance through HOA I was told that when you receive the wire you sent it back to coast title. We immediately made myself an Coast title faxed over the flood information that you required. We have been waiting for that refund and now it is April 4. We were told that that your company now has wired the money to Coast title March 31. At one point someone is not telling the truth. After many hours of Amanda at Coast Title and myself which is totally probably close to 40 hours of talking to customer service people and supervisors that we could never talk again to or can he receive incoming phone calls to get to the end of this matter. Every day that you drag your feet it cost me interest. Im requesting a full refund of $100 to cover your mistake and putting me through many hours of stress. Im writing complaint prematurely due to I have no idea if you really sent the money March 31. When we were asking for proof we were told by a supervisor that was impossible. If this goes on much longer I will be talking to your legal department. I am so sorry that it had to come to this but your company is very incompetent and I am truly sorry that our paths have ever met. Please do the right thing refund my money and send a wire out to coach title so they can pay off my loan. Your air has completely put a freeze on me moving forward

I had a loan with you and sold my condo March 23 2022

Coast title center pay off March 23. On March 24 your company said there was no proof of flood insurance and that we owe $1100 to pay the loan off and refuse the wire. Immediately we showed proof of insurance and waited for the wire which shouldve only taken up to 48 hours to return back to coast tile. Was giving a new payoff balance Balance which was $77 more interest. Now it is April 4 and Coast title has not received the wire. Was told today by supervisor that the money was wired March 31 and would take 48 hours to clear. And we now have a new payoff balance. Costing me more money. Never have been able to speak to the same person twice via customer service or supervisor. Every time I call its new information. today I asked a supervisor several times to explain why the notes did not have any information about anything about March 23 of the wire being refused by their company. Im not sure of the integrity of your company. But I am sure that the people that are working there do not have integrity. Not sure where that trickles down from. I request that you pay full interest on my loan which is $100. And if youre thinking $100 is not much money then you pay it. Because it is a lot of money to me. Ill never get back the 32 hours that Ive spent on hold and talking to people trying to get this revised. At least you could do is reimburse me the interest from March 23 which was my original closing date. Please contact me and let me know you have at least listen to my complaint. Credit report

I have been in forbearance, while in forbearance I followed their guidance. I am selling my house now and tried to prequalify for a home loan. I could not qualify because I found out the Dovenmuehle was reporting late payments in village capitol's name. I learned Dovenmuehle is village capitol's sister company and or owned by village capital. I've made multiple calls and emails to get nowhere. I received an email from Dovenmuehle stating they didn't do any negative credit reporting, however they are the ones I've been making payments to. Since I have been Pursuing this the loan has been transferred to another sister company Carrington. They are not doing any credit reporting. See copy of email. However, none of the late payments have been removed from my credit report.

If you have these guys as. Your mortgage company I would suggest you refinance!!!!

The worst excuse for a mortgage company I've ever seen and been under...Basically they never contacted me like the said they tried..no email calls or letters and I save all my verified mail just for this purpose..I've been paying homeowners ins from day one ..they jacked up my mortgage payments expect me to pay or be penalized even knowing it's a mistake on them and the insurance ..which I was double paying my ins already re imbursed me but no not dovenmuhle throughout this process I had to pay in mextra money due to them which I was never contacted back made over 1000 calls and been told 75 different things about my money they owe for there mistake I'm only 3 states away and 30 days later no check and believe there gonna drag this out ..then I gotta call back in 10 more days just for them to take another 30 days to Canx it and wait then another check to be issued then wait another 30 days to see if it arrives again !!! Hey read the BBB on dovenmuhle...it sounds and looks familiar ..they were gonna hammer me for there mistake but now I can't seem to get this money they owe me back

Nightmare

I refinanced and three months after the refi they started sending me letters that I hadn't made any payments. I sent on to them cancelled checks, bank statements, etc to prove I have made EVERY payment. Two months later I'm now getting notices that I'm in default of my mortgage - every time I call I get put into collections and rude, aggressive tactics. After completely explaining the situation I'm put on hold and they come back with a much nicer tone but can only tell me that it's being investigated.

Worst mortgage co I've ever dealt with!

First off I did not nor would I ever choose this mortgage co. We did a forebearance with them last year because they offered it to us. After the 3 months we started paying our mortgage again and was told that because we had a Fannie May loan we could add the missed payments onto the end of the mortgage. After several calls and a couple hours on the phone they said we were all set, just waiting for Fannie May to confirm. Six months later they are still sending us letters saying we are behind! I hate them more than I can tell you because they do not communicate well between their depts. We ended up paying 2 of the payments in the forebearance because of the letters we were receiving. Either they are lying or just totally inept at their jobs!

Refusal to refund escrow account for a loan closed in 2016!

My loan was refinanced in 2016. I was told my escrow refund was sent to me, but I never cashed the check. I received a notice in late 9/20 that the checks had not been cashed and would be turned over to the State as unclaimed funds. I was given until 5/21 to sign and return and form confirming my address and request for the refund. I sent the form in 11//20. Despite NUMEROUS calls and emails, I have yet to receive my $.
