Account hasn't been switched to solar account for 8 months now

I have been calling them every month to get my account switch over to a solar account. They keep telling me they are backlogged, and they don't know when they will be switching me over. I know that I have been giving back to the grid, but I can't see it or get credit for it. They are so disappointing. I have spoken to so many business customer service representatives, I wish I could go with some other service provider for energy. They are crooks, and they give you the run around about switching your account over to a solar account. Very unprofessional business practices and they don't let you know anything with their customer service staff.

My gas line was tore out last week and I can still smell gas and my sidewalk is tore apart and so is my front yard

Gas line got ripped out and my yard didnt get receded and my sidewalk got tore out. Not recommended to anyone

Call service

Was on hold for a long time but a call service representative Madison saved the day. She was kind, efficient, and a huge relief. She solved all my issues within minutes. If you have to call them, hope you speak to Madison.

Dominion energy sucks

Their website and everything associated with it has been done for 2 months now. No plan to fix it. Bill has not been paid in 2 months, now I have two bills to pay for the same company. Now we are going on 3 months

5 attempts to move service in a week--have to wait hours to get a phone answer then disconnected

Attempting to move service before it is cut off from apt a2 Nicole lane poplar branch nc and put service into my name. Dominion expects customers to wait 1-2 hours holding before they can speak with a person!

Terrible phone service. The online website was designed by a monkey.

Waited 20 minutes and was cut off. Called back and waited 20 more minutes and gave up. Went on the website to recover my deposit and the system had the wrong forwarding address even though I called and gave it to them twice and no way to request the refund.

Cause u wanted me too

No complaint about the psnc side of dominion energy but i got transferred a lot before they realized i wasnt out west nor looking for electricity needs

The light in my front yard which is serviced by dominion, still not repaired for the 5th hear straight.

When I purchased the condo, the light was broken and reported to dominion by the properties hoa. March of 2019. After 2 years a truck came by and a blue sign was put on the pole with red tape. The sign read repair needed, but as of June 12th the sign is still on the pole and no repairs made. So the area is dark at night and the animals out at night love this area due to the lack of light. Why has it been 5 years and no repairs? As a customer I could never wait 5 years to pay my bill without having service disrupted.

Property Management Revert to Owner Portal

Your new system is utterly horrible! You have completely deleted our portal and portfolio of revert to owner agreements. As a property manager we have over 150 properties with many owners who all had revert to owner files. Now if the properties are occupied by tenants, I cannot register the property again. And to get it back in the owners name upon move out, I have to call and spend absurd amounts of time on hold. Not to mention 2 hours to get power on at 2 properties is ridiculous. We have sat on hold for hours only to be disconnected, had people pick up and start a task only to be hung up on, and had to hold for countless more hours to wait for the actual power to be turned on. Your new system did not account for property management clients at all and you seem to have no solution. At this point, your required agreements are useless. Your new system is inadequate and there seems to be no intention of correcting this issue. Your company is horrible and your new system is worse. I feel sorry for your employees as they are taking the brunt of your poor planning and poor platforms. To say this is enraging is an understatement! At this point, we have spent so many hours, weekly, on the phone with your company, that Dominion should be paying us for our labor time.

Terrible customer service

I spent 1 hr 54 mins on the phone attempting to get a problem solved . I was transferred 4 times, put on hold and finally asked for a supervisor. I was told one was not available, and one would call me within 48 hours. I ended the call without the problem being solved.

Do you install solar panels on private land?

When trying to get in contact with customer service, Virginia, it is always hard to accomplish . Recording states, We are having a problem with website call back later or go to the Internet to have services. Personally, it sounds like a copout, and not wanting to answer the phone on their part.

Incorrect Budget Billing AMount

Original review May 15, 2023
Dominion indicated that my budget amount will increase by 40% ($77.00/month). They cannot explain the amount. Usage has not increased so that's not the cause. My current budget amount will cover the estimated charges for the next 12 months and does not have to be increased. Also had to spend 2 hours on the phone with them, most of it waiting for their putting me on Hold. They didn't find a way to fix it and recommended I cancel the Budget Plan for a couple months, then reapply!!! That just indicates a systemic problem in how they calculate the amounts. Avoid the Budget Plan.

Trying to find out why you are charging me $14.95 to pay my home light bill

I never got a chance to talk to a person. Therefore my issue was never resolved. Your customer service dont provide any useful service through your automated system and your customer service dont connect anyone to people. You need to understand computers cant handle all your problems especially when the computer is the problem.

Online account

Just within the last month Dominion Energy has changed their website and account access in Virginia and it is just the worse. I was locked out of my account that I have had for years only to be forced to make a new account. While this was going on we moved and now I have no way of paying that bill online. The new layout is not in a bill fashion at all just tells you the average of what you are using and what the amount is at that time. This is not at all easy to follow and understand or navagate.

No power

Husband and I moved to Norfolk on a Wednesday after driving for 3 days from out of state. Prior to leaving I had an email confirmation with my new account #, deposit amount and scheduled start date. When we got into town there was no power in our house. We got someone on the phone who said I needed to send in my ID so I did immediately. Got an auto reply saying their systems would be down from Thursday to Sunday. Called the next morning and was told they could still do this even though the systems were down. Called 3 more times until I got a supervisor. Given the fact that I had an account, deposit and confirmed start time I demanded she release the hold and get someone to come out and turn our power on immediately. Was told that due to this system down they could not see my email and I would have to resend it the next Monday, she couldn't release the hold until then and she couldn't schedule someone to come turn our power on for 48 hours after they reviewed my email. We are going on 4 days with no power and it's not likely we will get power for another 4 days making a week of no power. It's been cold. We are getting sick from the cold and I have to go to work on Monday not having showered in 5 days. So unacceptable it should be illega
