Refund

It has been a month since I paid for my background check and I haven't heard back at all. I would like a refund please. I can no longer afford or wait.

I scheduled an appointment and the helper never showed.

My first time doing business with Dolly.com has been a disaster. The helper never called or showed. When I reached out to Cust Svc the helper claimed he had been trying to reach me. He had sent a message that morning to introduce himself and let me know to reach out to him if I had any questions. I waited for him to arrive within the scheduled time. I expected him to show up as agreed. He did not. Once I reached out to Cust Svc, he sent a message via Inbox stating he was 2 hours away and wanted to reschedule for the next day. He obviously went to do another job instead and did not have the courtesy to cancel or reschedule directly with me earlier in the day. I had provided both my cell numbers 2 hours before the scheduled time in the Inbox, but he never called or contacted me and wasted my time. The sad part is that the Cust Svc agent I spoke to about this incident wanted to reschedule the appt and refused to offer any kind of compensation for this lack of professionalism and responsibility.

Dolly damaged my belongings totaling over 12000

Hired a dolly to move my home. The driver dumped my things in the road, ruined a marble table, new sofa, desk etc made a claim. They keep telling me its on the way. My move was in July.. its now the day before Christmas and absolutely nothing has been paid yet. Every time I call it goes to an off property claims office and they email claims@***.com. Stating that department doesnt have a phone number

Etsy is. A joke!!!

Ordered perfume guess it came from *** dolly treasures!!! Came with no sprayer on bottle. Unusable and lost 52.00. Was a present for mom for Xmas. Mad as heck. Want a refund like now

Lack of communication

I have signed up as a dolly helper and driver. I need to know what is happening? I payed for a background check and since I have heard nothing. That has been a month or more ago.

No reply to my calls or messages. Overcharged. I am very disappointed with the complete lack of concern for a customer.

Warning...do not use.

I need help loading a bookcase from the house to my truck. I gave the description of the bookcase and was given a price. I was good. I agreed. My "helper" text me his info. I sent him a picture of the item and ask for a call. Nothing. Our meet time was 11:30 the next day. At 10:15 he texted he was 5 mins out. I reminded him 11:30. He said he would see me at 12. And then said by the way the price has to go up. I said no and called customer service. They said not paying extra equals cancelation. Which they are charging 25%. will never call them again, am actively tell people they are terrible.

Hit-and-run damage to my car when delivering.

BEWARE use Dolly.com at your own risk. Dolly.com does NOT take responsibility for any claims against them and has been slow to almost absent in their communication. On October 16, 2021, almost 1 YEAR AGO, I informed Dolly.com that my car was damaged in a hit-and-run by THEIR DOLLY.COM DRIVER. I was able to access outdoor cameras from the business I work for showing the hit-and-run and was able to identify Dolly.com as the company delivering to our place of business. The video clearly shows their driver backing into my car and getting out to assess the damage he had done. The video shows Dolly.com making its delivery and quickly taking off. No note, no call, no nothing from their driver to take responsibility for this event. I filed a hit-and-run police report and then forwarded the video evidence to the police, Dolly.com representatives, and my insurance company. Dolly.com acknowledged it was their driver but claimed that their driver has his own vehicle insurance and I needed to work with their driver's insurance company. I was willing to do this however Dolly.com REFUSED to give me that information because I filed a police report. I filed a $1,000 damage claim through my insurance company which had me paying out my $500 deductible. I am still waiting for the Subrogation Department to reimburse me but during my last call, I was informed that Dolly.com representatives were not responding to their communication. Like I said, use Dolly.com at your own risk.

If you’re considering Dolly…reconsider

Movers showed up to my apartment a few months ago to help move things into a storage unit. They rushed my wife and I the entire move, were more in the way than helpful and ended up leaving me behind, taking several items with them, claiming they were on a time constraint when it had barely been an hour of loading items. I was left with several items at my apartment, which I had to carry over to storage to meet them. They did a very shoddy job putting all of our items in the unit, and I was given little to no time to make sure everything was out of the van before they left. I repacked the entire storage unit leaving it better than they did and come to find out a few months later some items, VERY important and personal ones, were never even put in storage and are now just lost forever and irreplaceable. Thanks a lot Dolly for your service! If you or anyone you know is considering moving with Dolly, I urge you to reconsider.

This is the second time this year that they charge something to my credit card I have not bought anything at the container store since 2020

My labor helper never called me to verify my move today and did not show up.

I hired 2 hours of labor from Dolly. Workers never showed up. Rental truck need to be back so I had to hire some people off the street to get the job done so that I could avoid being billled for an extra day on the truck rental. Customer service employee named Jeff was nice but wasnt able to resolve my issue. Getting someone on the phone is difficult at best.

Agent never showed

I wouldn't recommend dolly to anyone. The agent gave me 4 different times and had me waiting for 6 hours. Don't use dolly.

An absolute scam. Avoid at all costs.

Booked two helpers for two hours. One showed up on time, the other was 45 minutes late. Before he showed up we had 45 minutes of no calls or messages from him, no communication. We tried contacting customer service. Their app ONLY gives a bot, which is useless. And when you try to reach a human you can ONLY request to have them sms (text) or email you. When time is of the essence and being paid for, you should be able to contact A human immediately. I googled to get their customer service number, which I found here. That leads you to a long voice mail saying they are working on the phone systems as of April, and THIS is the number to call: 844-365-**** When someone called back (over an hour later) it was from a call center of someone who could barely speak English. Communication was a huge issue. So the helpers started at 2:45pm and I expected them to complete their two hour block of work at 4:45pm. At 3:55pm they were sitting around and making jokes and not working. I told them to do the next task, so I get my 50 mins I paid for worth of work, and they had the audacity to request another hours pay! When their original, paid for, 2 hours werent even up. And in order to decline that in the app, you have to once again contact them. The only options were accept or contact customer service. I was on hold for 52 minutes before I got a person who assured I wouldnt be charged the extra block, and I have been charged for it. They damaged my wall and stairs. That is another call to customer service. Which was more holding time. I finally get someone (again, broken English and bad communication) who just says well email you the form to fill out for damage. Honestly I am not even sure if I will get any money back for the coverage. I highly doubt it. As for service. It was terrible. I would never recommend this company. I will actually be leaving reviews (with photo proof) everywhere so others will be warned of this. As you can see in photos they damaged my landlords walls and stairs. They delivered the heaviest items (chest of drawers and tv stand) and left them UPSIDE- DOWN!!! I will have to hire additional movers to turn them upright as the whole reason we ordered helpers in the first place was because we can not lift these ourselves due to back pain and health issues. They left furniture on their sides and scattered everywhere on their sides or upside down, on top of moving boxes or things we were unpacking. And the kicker, they didnt even bother to put the drawers back in the nightstands, drawers, tv stands, etc. I am struggling to understand how professional movers and helpers could be this unprofessional, uncommunicative, untimely, shady (asking for more money when already paid!!!) and just absolutely careless of your property. Avoid at all costs. Let my experience be your warning.

The helpers came to take the stuff n they hit the vehicle in the guest parking and vanished .

Today at 12 pm they came to load a sofa n dining table to 692 Serramonte drive to Wildwood ridge in power ferry road . Everything went smoothly during loading n they wear about to leave the house and while backing the vehicle they hit the guest parking vehicle and when asked the said they will pay but in a fraction of second they vanished . I want this issue to be addressed immediately because I neighbor has the details of the vehicle and they have left a note on damaged vehicle also .

Poor customer service

I called April 1, 2022 at 9 AM to find out what time will my furniture be delivered today. I spoke to Hazel who informed me that there are no available people to deliver my furniture as promised by Value City Furniture who uses the service for deliveries I asked Hazel could she give me a time frame. She said no because there is no available delivery guys at the moment.
