Card locked , and then you can never get in contact with a person

I just used my card lastnight to order groceries and now all of a sudden when I'm trying to check my balance it's telling me to reactivate the card which I find confusing. I know I've tried to transfer money over to my cashapp only because sometimes this card don't work at all. So I'm going to assume they locked me out now asking to send them my ID VERIFICATION. No problem. People have bills to pay and when you guys lock us out our account when it's us that's trying to handle our business for responsibilities you guys lock us out and then get have us on hold for several hours before anyone get to the phone. I just need my card unlocked so I can withdraw my money and open a real account and be done with direct express why recommend these cards for the disable if it's going to be a hassle to even use to get our funds. In frustrated the first of the month was yesterday it's bill time please unlock my card.

Lost card and pin is locked

No complaints the customer service lady was extremely nice it was very painless and she did it quickly this woman was awesome so one of the first customer service experience I have that I can say went very well

Direct express disabled my password...again.

Once again, my password was disabled or changed by direct express. You put a password in you know is right 3 times and they lock your account. You can't monitor you transactions, all you can do is call them. All they do is put you on hold or transfer you, or blatantly lie to you. All you want is the funds you are due. All they want is to keep butting in your life by forcing you to call them so the can insult, lie and play games with people's lives. The woman told me the lock was off my account. It wasn't. So I called again. This time I got a "man". All he wanted to do was try to enrage you by asking 50 unnecessary questions. There was no need for them to interfere with my account and then ask me 20 questions to verify myself when they already know who you are after 4 or 5 questions.

Tried calling international phone no from UK. does not work. My card starting with no 5332 no longer has an App available in the UK for supporting it. If I could speak on the phone it would help but why cant i get a call through on 1-76* *** **** I dial the 00 international code which is correct. Any help you can offer would be appreciated. Thank you . Mr Gary Morgan

600.00 dollar payment that IRS said was deposited with you but I have never had a card to activate to be able to spend it .

I cannot get through to your customer service rep or website when I did the man was rude argumentive stupid literally stupid he did not want to handle my call he made me more upset then not being ablI

U have no idea what your doing your reps are rude condescending arrogant and blatantly stupid if I had known I would never asked for a card if our gov has anything to do with u they should be ashamed I'm 63 yrs old disabled I'm raising a 6 yr old I now have no money no one can help with this matter I'm calling Congress and senators I'm getting to the bottom of your shannanigas o yes I am

Customer service will not answer fir 4 days now. I can't pay my bills bc my card is locked and I can not get help. I'm about to be evicted bc of direct express

My card has been locked since the 1st, i cant access my card to pay my bills. And i have been calling the 24/7 support line for 4 days and sat on hold for 30 minutes over 100 times. Nobody will answer and i can not acces my money to pay my bills. I

I tried to change my pin, and it changes my account number! Now it varies between logged in to my account to locked.

Total frustration

This bank denies access to funds or accts at times for extended periods. No warning. NO explanation. 3 days trying to reach anyone by phone. Never talked to anyone. Direct Express brags about 24/7 support. That is a lie, joke or both.

THIS IS COMPLETELY FRUAD. FOR 3 DAYS IVE BEEN TRYING TO TRACK DOWN MY JUNE 2023 PAYMENT. FINALLY CHECKING THE CORRECT EMAIL ADDRESS AND SEARCHING KEY WORDS IVE FOUND THIS REPORT. "'NOW IM PISSED!!!'"

June2023 payment was never recieved. Ive been trying to track it down for 3days now, and today i find email correspondance between "SOMEONE& a service titled, 'PISSED CONSUMER'" I highly suspect fraudulent activity on my account

The worst ever, a ripp off

I am still perplexed as to why does the Government chose to do business with this company, knowing that beneficiary from social security, people who do not have a lot of money are charged fees on every transaction no matter ATM or bank you go to. ATM that supposedly mentioned "No fee" and on the list of Direct express do charge fees. Worst, the aTM will only allow you to withdraw $200 at a time, so to bill you $1.85 each time. I was charged $7.65 on an alleged no fee ATM listed on the website. Please run away from this bank and don't turn back. This is the worst bank or financial institution. Why does the Govt allow this ripoff? Stop this thieves

I agree they are the ones stealing the funds. Almost 200 dollars in transactions were taken off my account without a pin number. I tried to get an investigation going and was transferred ten times and asked the same information every time. It's meant to frustrate you. Then they have the combative argumentive person at the end of the line screaming and talking to you with all disrespect after you had been patient and calm through hours of shenanigans--this after having to wait more than a month to get somebody on the line through endless holds. Finally, when they were supposed to give me pertinent information the pretense that the connection had broken up and the hangup. Then the whole charade over again. They are just having a good time at the people's expense laughing. This is your government. Tormenting people for the *** of it. With computerization there's no need for there to be a single hold, or wait. Everything could/should be automatic--even transaction disputes. But I read how people are getting the runaround in any and every way over something they worked their whole lives for and many need desperatedly, And a lot of it from people who never put a year into building this land. I'm not just talking about a certain group. A lot of people of all ethnicities are on SS, and getting the same bs., after giving their whole lives to a contract that they invested in. Do those people care? They are stealing the funds and the government know what they are doing to the people. The stress is literally killing people and they know that too. When money is stolen from SS recipients, they should be reimbursed immediately like credit cards companies do. If after an investigation, fraud from the claimant is found then you take action. They always have access to the funds so they don't have to worry about not getting the money back. A lot a people lives depend on getting their funds when they supposed to get it. People take their lives behind this b.s. Direct Express is stealing the money. They locked my account the first week after I got my card. They said I tried my password too many times when I only tried it once. And it was right, because I had the app on my phone and I had the phone remember and fill in the password. They didn't want me to be able to monitor my transactions online, without having to call them all the time when you can never get them. It's clear to me they plan to steal from certain people from the beginning--the most vulnerable and voiceless. The government read the internet like I do. They know what's going on. I'm going to transfer to another bank. but it'll probably be the same thing, or they most likely will pull every stunt to make it as difficult as possible
