Sold me a defective hot tub

Original review May 23, 2023
I bought my hot tub last year. Paid cash was my first mistake. 12500, dimension one did not deliver to the seller for 2 months. After it was hooked up the lights started falling off of it into the tub. The lights stopped working. Called dimension one they said there has been a problem at the factory with over fighting the screws. Took a tech 2 months to come out and replace them and the lights. The following week the other set of lights stopped working. Called again and was told they would call me back. That was 3 months ago. Yesterday morning all the water has drain out of my hot tub and it won't cut on. Called the seller and they said my tub was never registered under warranty. This is the absolute worst investment I have ever purchased. Brand New hot tub that doesn't work and no one can come fix. Unfortunately, I believe legal action will have to be taken. Do not do business with this company.oh and the company that sold me the hot tub, whiten pools no longer will sell their hot tubs just to let you know how *** deminsion one spas are.

Was so excited for tub....now not at all

I know 'things' happen. I purchased a brand new dream spa. Delivered, set up well, was told to turn on pump when filled...this was on a Tuesday afternoon. Pump was fine til it turned off like normal after 30 minutes, then would not come on again. Four days later, need to order a new pump. Was told it was expedited on that Friday. Today, the following Thursday, find out that it didnt not go out til that Monday and wont arrive to dealership til thus next Monday. First off, I do not like a liar!! Secondly, fedex has a 2 day delivery. After posting your annual revenue, surely you would pay for faster shipping, and care about customer service.

M-drive upper control panel failure,5th time.

We have a Amore Bay dimension 1 hot tub up in Canada and the screen has faded out and cant read the settings. The control has a 2year warranty and failed every time after the timeline. We had a service tech replace it with the latest and it also fails the same. His solution to the problem is to move the control to the outside of the front of the tub so its not exposed to all the heat and steam under the cover. We only use the tub maybe 10 times a year and we let it run all year round. The control is like brand new looking and the place where we bought the tub from will not warranty this part that keeps failing. Not impressed.

I have not recieved a response

I ordered a Hot Tub in April from a vendor. Then I found out that they were not manufacturing. I called 3 numbers on their Web Site and Yellow pages. All three numbers just dropped my call. I put $ 4700 down with the other 50% on delivery

Company wont back it warranty

I noticed blistering that was occurring on the floor of the hot tub and sent an email to Daniel Lamadrid . He told me he could tell from my pictures it was from chemicals on the floor and it caused discoloration. (The discoloration was because we have rusty pipes.) That was in the spring. Fast forward to now the tub is losing water and rotting my deck from the continual disintegration of the shell.

2003 Californian

We bought our spa in 03 and besides the replacement of the control panel ( my fault ) , replacing a jet or two , this tub has run 24/7 . Now in 2018 it needs a few repairs that are more than I want to spend on an old tub . Today a NEW Chairman is arriving . Dimension One spas are great . I recommend them to anyone looking for a quality spa .

My Aurora II spa has been pretty good, for the most part...

My Aurora II is a 2001 model and, for the most part, is still going strong in 2018! Of course, during its lifetime, my D1 has been plagued by the dreaded topside controller issue (gradual LED total fade-out). At best, they have only lasted 2-3 years, on average, and I'm now on my fifth or sixth controller panel (at $350 a pop, bought online and self-installed!). Otherwise, the only other parts failure I've had over the years has been a $20 sensor (replacement also bought online and I repaired myself). My biggest current problem is with multiple tub leaks, which have been caused by clamps and deteriorated seals around the air bleeder valves - to be expected over two decades of use. Leak repairs necessitated opening the sides up and tearing out lots of insulating foam to trace the sources of leaks, which was a MAJOR pain. Last, there's the also to be expected normal wear and tear associated with foam headrest deterioration and replacement, many times; lots of brittle plastic jets, bottom drain screens, and filter guides (chemicals kill them) replaced, and numerous replacement top covers at HUNDREDS of dollars each. There have also been several loose connection issues on the main system microprocessor control and relay board (due to constant heating and cooling expansion and contraction), which I have been able to, troubleshoot, locate and repair, but the pumps, heater, and other main components have actually held up nicely. Bottom line - the Aurora II was not, by any means, cheap to buy, own, maintain, and repair, but it has been very enjoyable to be able to use for nearly two decades. It has come at a very steep cost in electronic parts, consumables, and my personal time and labor to troubleshoot and repair it. Professional spa service calls and repairs labor with marked up parts would have cost a fortune, and would have resulted in a scrapped D1 spa MANY years ago. There's my two cents worth!

Three weeks out of warranty.

Do not buy this spa. We were just three weeks out of warranty and Demension told me they would cover me then changed their mind after they heard I was the second owner. $1200 for the whole lower unit after just 2 years . You would think they would be interested in good reviews and service .

Dimension One Triad II issues

I purchased a Dimension One Triad II Spa at the recommendation of my local pool and spa store. Well, here's the list-All new top side controls, 3 circulation pumps, 7 ozone generators, 2 motherboards, 2 main pumps, all jets replaced 3 TIMES, heater replaced twice, solonoids ALL replaced, and I can't remember everything else . It's a 3 personal spa, and I paid over $8,000 for it. Dimension One won't do a thing. I have probably over $15,000 invested in this POS! It was supposed to be the best spa available-period. NOT!!!!

UPDATE on Atascadero Meridian

Turns our the issue with my 2016 Meridian constantly tripping the circuit breaker is/was due to faulty #1 pump. Now that it's been replaced [under warranty], I've had no further occurrences of circuit breaker being tripped. >8-) Turns our the issue with my 2016 Meridian constantly tripping the circuit breaker is/was due to faulty #1 pump. Wish I Purchased Another Brand.

We purchased a Chairman spa from a dealer just over three years ago. My husband is a vet and he was proud to buy American made and from a vet owned company. About three weeks after our spa was set up, we began having issues with the flow. The lounge did not work like it did when it was first delivered. Then new problems began popping up. The pumps would run once and you couldn't run them again for the rest of the day/night. Three years the dealers and your rep have spent on a fix on a hot tub that is just over three years old and still under warranty is shameful. Same issue from about three weeks into our purchase. They keep "fixing" things but the problem remains, and it takes weeks or months to get anyone to show up to do the repair. I HATE this hot tub. Can't remember the last time I was able to use it. Called the main company number and they hung up on me when I mentioned a problem. Please help me. We saved up and paid cash for this and it wasn't easy to do. Robert (from Florida-one of the reps) has been helping out, but no one can figure it out. He is sending new parts for us to install but I can't help but wonder if it will do anything to fix the issue. I am angry and upset because for the last three and a half years, I haven't done much more than look at my spa. It used to be beautiful, but now it is a source of pain and frustration.

Dimension One Spas - Home Collection Meridian D1 Hot Tub Review from Atascadero, California

My D1 dealer is very responsive and has assigned his best technician the task of determining why the circuit breaker keeps tripping. The tech is very conscientious and checks in regularly. Not sure if this is a good thing [or not]. He says, the good folks at D1 have brought in a "test" spa and experienced the same intermittent electrical/heater issues. The solution de jour is to disconnect the hi-limit switch. Currently, I'm still experiencing circuit breaker issues. The breaker resets after a few hours and the tub runs fine for the first 1/2 hour session. The breaker usually trips during second [1/2 hour] session or within a couple minutes of spa being turned off. I will keep you posted as we [me and the tech] work our way through this episode. >8-)

Dimension One Spas - Dimenson One Spas Home Collection Meridian D1 Hot Tub Review from Toms River, New Jersey

Just bought a brand new d1 meridian spa and had it delivered and set up this past Memorial Day weekend. Everything OK but now just three weeks later the spa keeps tripping the circuit breaker off. Repair tech came from the dealer I bought it from and determined it was the heater pump that was bad. He said it is covered by waranty and he would replace it as soon as he can get the part. AFTER ONLY THREE WEEKS THE HEATER IS BAD?!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME??!!! THIS BETTER GET FIXED AND NOT WITH A REFURBISHED PUMP!! I am starting to wonder if I wasn't sold a refurbished spa!?
