I am getting over charged for a product that wasnt even bringing in leads now they want me to pay 7,716 dollars to them i am willing to make this right if we can come to an aggreement
after being with yp for a while we have always come into problems i had my product for a few months after keeping track of calls coming in and form fills i sent it to my rep and to the girl that did my online content i let them know that my product was not working but they did not listen all i want is to make it right and pay what is fair

They are the worse company I have ever had to deal with
Their customer service is deplorable, we had so many complaints that our online information was not correct and no matter what we did they did not update in any kind of timely fashion if at all. They charge an outrages fee for nothing, once they have you under contract you are toast. None of their services are worth a dime.

This company is nothing but a bunch of lying, stealing, crooks. They lie and tell you anything they think you want to hear, just a sign on with them to advertise ! Everything they promised to do for me. They did not do. They also promised that there would be a constant presence on the Google listing. Which was a big lie. ! Search after search never revealed a listing on Google, as they promised. They just make an ad for you on their website, and rotate it on their website only! No customers have access to their website unless they do a specific search for dex media. This company has never been a good company. That's why they changed their name so many times. Likely to dodge lawsuits. Do not under any circumstances advertise with them. Spend your money somewhere else, the results will be a hundred times better. Also, if someone did advertise with them, they assign a phone number, that is not yours. So they can listen in on conversations, and track the calls from the ads. Without your permission, they do this. I was pretty irate when I found out they did that. This company needs to be sued big time, and put out a business. They are nothing but cheats, and liars. There are true representation of the *** of the Earth!!!

I can not get away from this company. If there is a class action suit against them I definitely want in on it. Dex yp, Thryv Dex Media are all the same place apparently and the biggest rip off I have ever dealt with.

Don't Engage !!!
I had a service rep call and we signed up for everything we had in the past year and the price was to go up by a couple of dollars. That did not happen, it is up around $100. Have called them and get told lies. We asked them to drop us months ago, the new bill is over $700. I cannot recommend these people at all...

Be careful with this company. they are a scam!
Be cautious this company took our website, now we don't even own it. Their fees are large!! And we don't even come up in search engines. Have paid over $23,000 and have very little ROI, no search results and we lost our website.

Worst experience ever Dex media never followed through with any of my request on my online servicing continue to charge me when I tried to cancel 100 times because I’m so unsatisfied a year later I excepted a pay off just to get them to stop bothering me I sent the amount in full and still receive threatening letters from attorneys I would like to be reimbursed for all my lost money this company is a complete fraud

I called Dex advertising to have the white and yellow page content of our listing corrected. The individual I spoke with took my info and told me they would not only help me correct the incorrect listing in the upcoming phone book soon to be released but sold me on upgrading my listing and paying for advertising through them. When the new phone book came out a few months later and I looked through it for the corrections I could see the corrections had never been made and info listed was more incorrect than in the prior years phone book. I called Dex Advertising for a second time and the salesperson I spoke with told me they actually don't handle the paper phone book listing but only online listings. She said the gentlemen who sold me my advertising package and was suppose to be helping me with my concerns sold me a package for an online listing only. She stated that since she could see my company was getting results from the online listing they would not fix anything for me. She also let me know if I wanted my listing updated in the paper phone book it was an entirely different company all together that handles that and is no associated with Dex. This is my 23rd year as a business owner and was very clear with my salesperson. Talk about being ripped off! I would not suggest this company for advertising needs. You may not get what you asked for and may never know it until its too late. What a joke!

Sales person didn't cancel contract - Continuous harassment calls
told same salesman as year prior, I know longer wanted ad due to tracking phone # have proven no calls having ad. He suggested put my regular phone #'s back in. I called back over & over & no response. Ad comes out in phone bk, which I had asked to be removed. I called Dex Media 1st month & told them , I did not authorize. They then said , since you didn't cancel, you are stuck with bill. I did call several times prior with no return call. Daily receive calls from Dex Media & collectors. Over the many years ,my ads have been wrong , & they've given me a discount, which most definitely shows all, their of correctness/follow thru with contracts

SOCIAL SECURITY SCAM CALL
I got a scam call from supposedly the Social Security Administration. I am a person of disability and I'm on the phone with Social Security often. so I know from personal experience that there is a warning at the beginning of the phone call with Social Security. warning you of the scam phone call... this call. threatens to disable your social security number due to suspicious or fraudulent activities. when you attempt to call the number back it says it's disabled but gives you another number. the number it gives you. comes back to a company called Dex.

They have sent me to collections for a verbal contract that they never delivered on. Their "terms" (which I never say) say that they have the right to put whatever they want in your ad and you are stuck with it. I've since, of course, found dozens of other business owners with the same problem. Find something more productive to do with your money like putting it through the shredder

These people are nothing short of incompetent. I was contacted about renewing my yellow pages advertisement. I told the salesman that their book was ineffective and I was going to go elsewhere. They admitted that phone book usage has been on the decline for several years now because of internet and cell phone searches but they had a program called "Thrive" that combines yellow pages and internet advertising so I gave it a try. I am a commercial refrigeration service contractor and after setting up my site, I found they placed me in appliance repair and they had no classification for what I do. Now I get calls for repairing dishwashers and microwave ovens but nothing for the work I do. I not only do not get calls from their useless phone book but I have to waste my time apologizing to people calling for services I do not provide. To call these people crooks and idiots would be giving them more credit then they deserve! I cannot even give them a rating because they are below anything I could think of!

I don't even know who Dex Med is and they have been charging me $62.89 per month for a year and a half. I have called to cancel whatever it is three times and they never do. Today, I spent 30 minutes on the phone with them before I was disconnected. I called back and the recording said that they were closed for the day.
