Scam and fraud

I never used or heard of them, saw a charge for 9.99 out of blue. Called my charge card to cancel it to prevent further fraud charges of them or others.

Looks like thieves

I have never used them for anything - got a new credit card which I activated a few days ago and I have 6 pending charges from them for $9.99 each. I had to look them up to see who the heck it was!

A bunch of thieves

I bought 10 downloads in January 2017, but at the time, I downloaded only one file, since I didnt need more. It was not a subscription, but a fixed package, and it was said on the site I could go back even after one month, and download the rest. It was said that the package would renew itself, without any extra payment. Today I needed to download some more imagens, so I came back there, knowing there were still 9 downloads available. But then I saw myself unable to download any image, and the package just vanished. In the user history, was only the single download made in 2017, and was also stated I had made a subscription, when back at that time, I hadnt, it was a package with 10 downloads, just as that. I contacted costumer service, and they insisted it was a subscription, even posting screenshots from their plans of today. I dont know what had changed there, but they should RESPECT people who bought previous packages. However, they just steal your money, without any regard to your dignity.

Auto-rebill scam from Depositphotos

They scam people using the unclear user Agreement language and some good ole tricks like hidden clauses in fine print placed unnoticeably. Moreover, in case you enter your payment data - you'll see it's missing and can't be removed, while the auto rebills persist. The only way to stop automatic rebills from popping up once a month is contacting their support which isn't too responsive for obvious reasons. User's profile doesn't have any clear way to shut off automatic billing and no clear guidelines are provided. As for the content - it's definitely of lesser quality and quantity on Shutterstock, but still could be a good occasional replacement if Shutterstock isn't available for some reason, if not the grey hat billing strategy.

Depositphotos Beware it's a Scam

I had to cancel my credit card, because there is no way to stop them charging you every month I called Customer Service (from Mexico, Where I live) yes, every time somebody answered my call but after 6 frustrating days making calls, with absolutley no help from them, I had to cancel my credit card to avoid being charged for a service I did'nt asked for, I just bough a 1 (ONE) month subscription wit no (NO) renewall. They asociate your payment with a third party company, where you can't ever reach. A perfect SCAM, please depositphotos contact me, I want you to fix your public image, because it's getting so dirty with those practices.

SCAM Practices - Auto Charge Credit Card Even After Months of Calling to Cancel

Just had a conversation with Vita at Depositphotos. They continued to charge my business for the last three months, even though we keep calling and cancelling. When we told them in no uncertain terms and they even admitted that we had no downloads on those months. Vita refused to give us back money, credit, any documentation or any assistance once so ever. She said she is the only person we can speak with and that I had no access to speak to anyone in accounting/billing/financials/customer service etc. I'm calling my credit card company and disputing all charges. DO NOT USE THEM. I've learned my lesson. Pay a little more and go back to other reputable stock photo sites.

I hope you like to see them out of business like they deserve it. Here is explanation why they must to show immediately "understanding" for you. http://www.bbb.org/council/overview-of-bbb-grade/

Depositphotos.com

I bought a bundle of images (pay per use), but was receiving their newsletter, in which they advertise "free images of the week". In the very same layout, font and color, they offer PAID IMAGES just below. This is such a ripoff, bc they take you to their page having you think they are all free. Only after I realized they were charging me (after I lost all my credit at once, thinking I was downloading ONLY FREE IMAGES) I realized how OPPORTUNISTICLY AND DECEITFULLY THIS COMPANY ACTS. I wrote an email to their customer support (no response). I lost all my credits and will NEVER BUY AGAIN AT THIS CO. OPEN YOUR EYES, bc they are deceiving THEIR OWN CLIENTS, playing with ads as if they were giving out free stuff, written the same way as they, just below, offer paid stuff. THIS IS MADE TO CONFUSE AND TRAP THE CLIENT.

Depositphotos have rooked me out for $483

Depositphotos have charged my card for 7 months $483 without my knowledge and for a service which I did not use. It was not made clear to me when I signed up that I was actually going to be paying a monthly subscription. There is also no obvious "cancel" button. When I signed up to depositphotos, I thought I was purchasing access for a month. There is nothing written anywhere on the website that says you are purchasing a monthly subscription, only that you get access for x number of dollars to Y number of images, per day for a month. After the first month, I did not use this service as I thought it had expired. If you look on the website in the account area, there is no simple way to cancel your subscription. There is no button to click on saying "cancel". Now, when I emailed for a refund and asking to cancel my subscription, then the customer service representative told me that I had to actually click on a green circle and this was not a labelled button, it would like a regular shape to anyone and those bastards have rooked me out of $483, took my money and now refuse to refund it. If I had been downloading images, I can understand not getting a refund. If I actually used their service, I can understand not getting a refund. But I did not use anything from them, nor did they take any expense because of me.

Depositphotos charged my credit card every month without any notice without my knowledge

I purchased a monthly subscription ($109), but by default they set it up to automatically renew. They did NOT give me an opportunity to check a box for automatic renewal. Instead, by default, it automatically renews, even though I subscribe to a MONTH service. They could clearly see that I was NOT using their service after the 1st month, but still continued to charge my credit card 4 Times, after I noticed that They refused to credit my card, and only offered to give me credits to use with them. They told me that I could NOT talk with their financial department via the phone, only by email. The customer service agent said that she would contact their financial department and call me back. It is a misleading practice that lacks safeguards for the consumer, and with little to no recourse. STAY AWAY FROM DEPOSITPHOTOS.

I joined Depositphotos approximately 1 year ago, yesterday I got an email from Depositphotos "★ Happy Easter! Get 20% off all purchases!", Dear user! We wish you a Happy Easter! The offer ends: 04/21/2014, 23:59 EST. To activate the discount enter the promo code: CS467**** on this page: http:depositphotos.com/promocode.html I purchased 150 credits for $112 on 18/04/2014 And today when I tried longing in into my account I got a message saying that "This login was blocked. Please contact our support service to resolve this problem." I've spent all morning to contact them to understand the problem with the LIVE CHAT, as well as on the phone with customer service, and no one helped me. They told me that It is out of their competence to help me. WHAT THE FU(#K! I sent an email Help & Support and got a reply saying that " Your account has been detected as a participant of fraudulent activities. Unfortunately, we will now have to terminate our cooperation." These people are scam artists, do not give them any information. I've filed a complaint with the BBB against them and I hope they will help me to solve this problem

Depositphotos is dangling a new affiliate and discount coupon as lure.

On 1st April I've received an email with a 15% discount promo code" from Depositphotos" I have signed up and subscribed for 100 images per day which they charged me $560.15 using skrill payment method. Invoice No. '- S-134**** Note: I have everything screenshots, invoice, payment info and all emails After 3 days they blocked my account for no reason, without even sending me a notice or warning. I tried to contact them but no one answered my call I contact their live support, the only message I got from them was "Please, write to support@***.com" All emails and phone calls to seek an explanation have been ignored. And any attempt to highlight complaints on their Facebook page leads to an immediate ban. Before filing a complaint against depositphotos, I tried to contacted but unfortunately they ignored me and the only message I got form them was "Your account has been detected as a participant of fraudulent activities." They refused provide me any explanation and refused to refund my money forcing me to contact BBB for help
